What is exactly OP is trying to convey here? Due to rise of tether XRP will be dumped or both tether and XRP will be dumped? In the image shared, XRP is on 3rd rank and tether is doing at 4th, do anything significant hidden on that image? I guess this is must be the first ever open-post, I do come across without any explanation but only an image and a subject-line and that subject also somewhat glimpse.

I agree both XRP and tether are corporate coins but at least tether is having a real world application and I guess many crypto traders are making use of tether on their daily activities whereas XRP is not serving us in any means. But, only few whales might have been utilizing XRP for their dumps and dumps along with ripple corporation.

If you want to hold all of that coin list, hold by careful. If you're going to trade one of that coin or all of the coin, trade with care because no one knows if that coin can give you the profit or not. I don't know which one of that coin that can scam you or make you lose your money, but as long as you can be careful, you don't have to worry at all. You need to know what you want to do so you don't just follow other people suggest. Ethereum, XRP, Bitcoin Cash can lose the value anytime because all of that coin follow where bitcoin price moves.

OP showing the difference cause the market cap of xrp and usdt are close with each other and xrp might go down to 4th spot and tether will advance to 3rd spot. Im not really fan of tether and I dont see any use case of it aside from being a stablecoin used when you need to dump your bitcoin, ethereum or any other altcoins. If xrp continues to dump then this will likely to happened.

While I think Tether(USDT) is shady in itself, XRP just take things to the next level. I can't wait for XRP to just die down and leave the "top 10" spotlight because while I don't hold altcoins(and I don't really plan to), I think other altcoins far deserve XRP's spot.

Of a truth I do not know why XRP has to be among 10 top coins base  on market capitalization. Bitcoin has done extremely well including ethereum but repple only move significantly in 2018 and since then it has been down.

XRP is not a trusted coin like ethereum or BNB and this coin has the worst tokenmetrics compared with another project. Indeed, it was a centralized coin, no wonder why there are market price manipulations. XRP still in the top 3 for a very long time and quite Tether is pushing in but I don't know of XRP developers will easily give up and lose their spot unless devs will let go (but I don't think so). And even though we think that XRP is a shit coin but we can't deny that many holders are still using it due to its low fees and for sure their supporter will keep holding in even it moves down.

If you see a poor XRP performance, it is not impossible that the position will be displaced by other altcoins. According to the results of
my analysis, the strongest candidate to shift XRP's position is tether. Although tether is stablecoins but has a large enough volume.
That is enough to give a compelling reason why tether is better than XRP.

As of now, XRP is still in the number 3, I don't know if it was surpass just recently but as long as Tether is no stable at the position, we can't say it has replace by Tether. But even though it will be replace, it does not mean that XRP will dump as its pretty normal that the market will move.

XRP is disappointing the Investors and it is slowly losing the faith in crypto market, similarly I never consider Tether is a popular coin because it's does tricky moves when the pumps and dump which helps us only if the price drops massively. Apart from that I don't think can expect huge returns from it, as a centralized coin I expect more performance from XRP and I hope it will make a strong comeback.

Yes. The part I don't understand is the thinking behind why the issuance of more tether would cause a price dump for XRP.
USDT is a stablecoin, if it increases in marketcap then this is because more tether have been issued (barring temporary fluctuations when the markets are particularly turbulent). This says absolutely zero about XRP. Can't see a connection here at all, beyond maybe some minor psychological effect of seeing XRP drop a place because more tether have been released.

There is nothing to worry about it, as you above mentioned they are top altcoins and in my humble estimation top altcoins are much more trustable currencies among others. We should think positive about them, XRP will rise up in my view. More than that we have to collect until the price increases, maybe it will take a long time, but it doesn't matter it will be really worthwhile. The sitting tight is the hardest part of investing, some traders are really patience stones. XRP will worth more than $2 one day because there is a strong demand by new investors. The other factors are not as important as the mentioned one.

XRp already Gain back the position and Tether only take the position for a day and this is just a test if they can sustain yet nothing proves their right.
XRP still has banks backing them as they are being supported for years now but of course we knew that the rank 3 is not always a best stand like what Litecoin did from staying top 3 now falls under graded.

Tether can't get down in the price caused by it has backed by the fiat currency. This thread was discussing the possibility for XRP to be dumped due to the unlock of premined coin and tether has been printing more money to surpass XRO and take the second spot position which already happened.

    Many XRP are like Innocant! Recently I saw many XRP army tweets about big coming back, pools about
XRP and future, how it's going to $5! Basically the same thing we see from time to time, but the price is
going down anyway.
   XRP was one of my first alt-coin investments 2 years ago. As I wrote about it, probably the only coin
I regret investing. I still have that amount, and I will not sell it, even I thought about it several times.
I never sell my coins! But in this one I don't believe anymore!
