Could be they are referring to fall before the rise! Analysts don't just predict off hand it is base on chart that they give their predictions, they are expert in their field (well some of them) but doesn't mean they can't be wrong as well, eth is a top project, if whales are accumulating is probably because of eth 2.0 and there is the reddit news, imo, if eth tank it will give opportunity for buyers to accumulate even more, no cause for alarm.

It must be, it's the same thing that we saw happening to bitcoin. First we are going to the moon, after first drop bitcoin is going to zero, and each time we witness any kind of rise or few dollars drop people get excited, and we have many contradictory topics in just few days!
If I need to choose between whales and analysts I will go with whales! Experts in crypto are new species, most so-called experts took that title based on time they spend in crypto, but being in crypto longer then others, having a bit more experience than others doesn't make someone an expert!
Ethereum is still good investment, people shouldn't be afraid of few fud articles, only you can do is to get ready, many more will come. Its never ending story, the bigger you are more fud will be around you, bitcoin is a good example for that.

The key reason why I believe those Analysts are wrong is because Reddit is in the process of adopting Ethereum, and due to Reddit’s adoption suddenly millions of Reddit’s users will buy/hodl Ethereum which in turn will shoot it’s prices upwards. I dont velieve on those predictions by experts. How many did they tell the people through social medias about price hike on such date. Even prediction on bitcoin during halving, there are so many analyst thought that it will skyrocket but it did not right? There is no such thing as accurate prediction. The problem with the people is how being affected by hype and fud for certain period of time.

But if you will look on long term goal, you can see that ethereum is one of the best asset that is relied by many platform. Reddit decision to use their network is a good decision and can benefitted from both partnership.

Personally, I always put ethereum in first place. I invest in Ethereum, I have never invested in Bitcoin and am not going to. So when I read that ethereum will grow. I say “I knew”, although in fact I did not know anything, I simply believed.

Rise and fall is part of the market, this we already know from years of being part of this space, it is nothing permanent, even if eth suddenly fall in price according what the op describes,  it will find it's way back up, between if whales are accumulating it is logical if they want the price to fall so they can fill their bags, nobody wants to buy high and sell low,
Analysts always make their own predictions but sometimes it doesn't tally with the market so it is not a big deal, market will eventually determine price.

I don't know, we don't know what plans they have. this might be their way to panic people and sell the ethereum they have at a cheap price. in fact, they also adopted ethereum despite speculation that the price would go down. as far as I think, the price of ethereum will go up, and I prefer my opinion over the opinions of others.

Even if reddit is accumulating ether, what is the purpose of doing so? Do they wish to become a point of leverage for balancing the market is price of ethereum tanks in future or it is just a marketing stance to make their social media more popular?

Point is that this may lead to a temporary gain and then a fall back to organic prices because this is an inorganic growth if someone is really accumulating ethereum. The analysts are always right and wrong at the same time, if you know what I mean, their job is to give "white lies". Nobody can really predict that it will rise or fall unless they predict a time period with it as well, which they will rarely provide with their "analysis".

Maybe it could go back to the ATH? Maybe once BTC resides or becomes stable in price, ETH would take over. It's not an impossible thing but I think it will take time. I see a lot of news regarding this situation so maybe there are a lot of people who will accumulate and possibly buy more ETH.

I would probably invest some into ETH because it's on a discount compared to the ATH. Maybe, it's time to do it too.

Analysts more often than not speculate without taking any action, investors and whales know that there is money to be made by accumulating ethereum and hodling. We know that prices tend to move the opposite direction of the herd anyways, so I'll be accumulating in anticipation of the rally.

Reddit is already pretty big but I don't think this will push Ethereum up in price. I mean, remember Tether migrated to ETH too, and there's no other thing used or transacted more than USDT right now so what happened to price? It grew when BTC did but it also tanked hard, despite the huge volumes thanks to USDT.

ETH 2.0 has to come first and has to meet expectations.

Most, if not all of these analysts hardly says the truth or they say what they feel like to look as if they are still relevant in the industry but the truth is, over the years it has been found that most of their analysis are always wrong and those who held on to it ended up regretting. In the case of Ethereum, it is already known to be a good platform coupled with the improvements coming soon, thus I would say they shouldn't be listened to, although it's my own opinion. Lastly, comparing the price of Ethereum now, there is every tendency to believe the analyst was wrong; just as the number of predictions done over the years which also ended up being wrong.

I'm really glad to hear pos being almost released.
And you know what - when they'll release it ethereum devs will have an opportunity to work on other adopt-related sides of eth

I think most of the cryptocurrencies are economically tied up with Bitcoin price and development so no matter how positive we are, But if the Bitcoin price will not good enough I'm sure Ethereum price will also follow the trend whether it was uptrend or downtrend it was already tested many times so those so-called analysts are just only speculated like others.

does not have to be, when ETH was announced 1 BTC was 2000 ETH, now it is in the range between 40-50 ETH, we need ETH 2.0 to take another leap forward, and if that leap would be the same as previous one, that would bring us in range of 1 BTC equal to 1 ETH, this is not an advice, just thinking, but one should be aware that BTC had two big leaps forward before, after each halving and ETH had only one in 2018, it is new and fresh for BTC, and could leap again that good

Part of it yes but looking back at ETH when it was trading below a dollar it went up to double digits without bitcoin influencing its price so in theory eth can go 1k or even more by its self by the help of the community and its supporters.
