I think this part is what every business owner wants. The immediate resume of business operations and the possible recovery of income losses. Imagine that being the situation when you are in their shoes? I think you would want the same thing. I still think it's better to obey the protocols so that the quarantine/lockdown would be finished sooner.

I heard on the radio a little earlier today that the Cloncurry races were held yesterday without attending crowds due to the COVID-19 500 person's outside rule that has been implemented here in Australia.  The Cloncurry races attract a large crowd and signals the start of the Outback racing season.  So, it looks like Australian Horse racing is still on but without attending punters.

All Sports related that is gathering an audience on people are shutdown of discontinuing in the meantime because of the said pandemic, let's just all cooperate with the government, that is preventing the spread of the said deceased, so let's all remember to just stay indoors and let's not become the problem itself but the solution to this pandemic,

There are no more Horseracing in the UK until the end of April  , the Grand National is postponed 
Irish Horseracing and all Greyhound racing is moving behind closed doors, but until when? We can see a shutdown of all races soon, it depends on the government decision, and let’s hope that this restriction won’t last more than a ~month

The restriction will last on Horse racing and other sports unless and until the world is clean from coronavirus. So if you want the sports get resume, hope the world could get the vaccine for this virus and this emergency situation comes to an end. 
At the present moment, no one is sure when all the sports will resume.

it is not only those that are closed or shutdown. Almost all sportsbook betting and casinos in the affected country are closed during the Covid-19. This shutdown has several reasons and purposes:
1. Those places are the locations with many people, on the other hand, we must do physical distancing to avoid being affected by Covid-19.
2. We do not know who has been affected by the virus, although the person looks healthy, it doesn't mean that he may not get the virus, he may be a carrier. So, better to stay away and keep physical distancing
3. people prefer to be safe and alive than forcing to get much money but risking their life at that time

It doesn't depend on the government. It depends on how the coronavirus still affects the country. The medical party will give data when the pandemic ends or when everything is okay to be opened again. And then, the government can announce when it is. We cannot determine for a month or month, just let them work and we just follow their regulation and restriction if we want to stay healthy and alive.

reason I came to watch was not because I wanted to accompany my friend, but I also sometimes took part in horseracing betting. And it
was very fun for me, but because of this covid-19 disaster horseracing was affected. And some horseracing matches postponed like any
other sports. Hopefully the corona virus vaccine can be found soon, so that the spread of the corona virus can stop. After that all sports
including horseracing can run normally again.

All activity and business that is related to have contact body with other people already reduced or close because the government doesn't want to see more people suffer because of the Covid-19. It happens with the sport, and that causes all of the sports events to have cancel or delay or even shut down. This prevention is what the governments need to do before they can figure out how to solve this pandemic. We need to obey their decision and help them to work hard to fight on this pandemic.

We already stay at home for more than a month, and perhaps, we will remain at home for more until the government can announce that the situations are clear and safe. dunno if what is greyhound racing earlier but after reading your post i see that it was a kind of dog racing ? i only hear the word greyhoundz band before .

they can still continue doing it without fans , the same as what other sports are doing  . it can be odd to you but that is only at first ,  later on you will still get used to the situation.  its like a do or dont situation because this is still for the sake of people's safety due to the ongoing corona virus pandemic .

The iconic Birdsville Races have been cancelled for 2020 due to the restrictions in place because of the coronavirus pandemic.

You are right. We will see this Covid-19 will end soon after the scientist can found the vaccine, and I believe that we will get the normal situations again. But we hope that the vaccine will be released before the end of this year so people who infected will totally get cured of the virus. We need to wait for the government and the scientist to work for helping the people so the number of people who infected can reduce.
