For what I've seen, it's not impossible for Bitcoin to get past $10k. Right now, it's an oddity since whales are heavily manipulating Bitcoin's price on the market. One needs to be vigilant in order to sell Bitcoin when it touches the $10k range. Once it manages to sustain prices of $10k for some time, there should be nothing stopping it from reaching higher gains on the market. At least, the third halving had a positive effect over Bitcoin's price in the short term. Maybe in the next 2 to 3 years from now, Bitcoin will be able to reach a new ATH. It's all a matter of patience in order to obtain good results with your investment.

Impatient people will quickly sell their Bitcoin, triggering a panic sell on the market. If there are more people selling Bitcoin than what they're buying, prices will go down the drain. Bitcoin's volatility may be risky, but it proves to be a great way to make profits in the short term. Considering Bitcoin's reduction in block reward every 4 years, it should become much more valuable than what it is right now in the future. There is no sign for now as some whales are manipulating bitcoin price, there was a time it got to over $10000 some days before halving, but a whale move huge amount of bitcoin it of an exchange, the price really dropped to as low as $8200. This is also what has been happening so far to bitcoin. But, it is not yet late to see the results of halving, the effect can not be immediately, and it could later still result to bitcoin price increase. I just believe that in this year, bitcoin price will get to a price more than $10000.

We actually surpassed that level but of course, the market is not yet ready so it goes down again. But the probability of passing that level in the next coming months is very high. People are slowly calming down owed to this pandemic situation and they are trying to recover from what's left on their savings. There's always hope so to speak. So reaching that level is not impossible.

Agree. Right now, there's heavy price manipulation across the market. It may take some time before we'll able to see steady prices well above $10k per coin. With some patience, we'll be able to achieve good results in the future. Personally, I wouldn't worry about Bitcoin's price as long as it's useful for the whole mainstream world. Decentralization/censorship-resistance is what matters above anything else. I'd expect prices to become higher in 1 to 2 years from now. The sooner the pandemic ends, the better it'll be for Bitcoin and other tradeable assets worldwide.

This shows us how resilient the pioneer cryptocurrency is as an asset that's completely immune against real world events. With its decentralized and open source design, Bitcoin may well live far beyond 100 years into the future.
