Have you guys ever wondered if TRX has strong link to China investors or/and China's market since the background of TRX and Justin Sun? So from that viewpoint, would TRX's price more likely to go down in the future since China is more hell-bent on its zero covid, aim to reunification with Taiwan -> Split between China and Western countries, more blockable and trade war. More chance China going back to isolation economic, hurt the number of Chinese TRX holders -> They are more likely to sell TRX to recoup the money?

Amidst the big crash in the market the expectation over Tron keeps increasing. This is all due to the price that haven't moved much over the past few years. TRX due to its low transaction fee and much faster confirmation have attracted the users in all levels and had the good real-time usage. In terms of growth there is nothing much happened, the criticism is upon Justin Sun and expected a good bounce as new authority took control. Whether it is lacking development or what, nothing is known for the lagging in growth.

I don't know if they are FUD or not, what is clear if I see it on Coinmarketcap, the price of USDD has decreased to $0.9,

Bitcoin does have a big influence on altcoin price movements although not all of them,

this token looks unconvincing now, especially after the last events with the luna.Of course, I'm not sure that it will collapse in the near future, but the fact that the course is not 1:1 is no longer good.If the Sun allows the failure of the project, then the trx can wait for a prolonged fall down.

Though crypto market is extremely un-predictable and any surprise can happen here but  I think it won't be easy for Tron to hit $1 in such a bear market unless there is huge development in its work that makes its use case much strong enough to attract huge investment in this coin. Histrionically I have seen lot of stories in crypto media predicting it as Ethereum killer which is un-likely to happen in the near future. DYOR.

People are buying Tron because they think it is bottomed out and current rate is quite attractive to invest in it to make long term gains. The others reasons to buying it is, its low price, good team of developers, highly active marketing team led by Justin Sun ,volatility and liquidity ,It is listed on almost every exchange and above all its transaction fee is negligible.

If you are unsure with what the market fr this asset will bring you it's best to avoid investing on it, there are many available coins that you can pick instead of endangering your money, if you have time doing the research and properly understanding how things works with the project is the best thing to attain success, tron is just another project that you can use if you know what you will going to do, either side for long and short holdings will depend to the market condition and the timing on when you place your position.

Last year, Tron was very underwhelmed. Now, it performed better than other altcoins in the market. But as you have said, USDD was a risk and discourage new investors into the Tron network. If you are willing to risk, here are my take: Tron foundation understands its USDD risk and can turn off the peg if they want while also trying to get more fund to bait out as well.
