Hmm..   how does this raise the coins to pay the dividends? It sounds more like it is for giving out bounties?  The first post just ore or less seems a writeup on devcoin itself, not the fund.

Trough development bounties and merged mining. Feel free to look at the Dividends History.

The project realised products in 2012:

Lancelot QCool element (Watercooling for Lancelot FPGA):

EAW Concentrate:

And was rewarded for several realised projects trough Devcoin.

If anyone is looking for a place to invest DVC, or get DVC for a project, look at this thread.

If everyone is thinking outside the box, there is a new box.

Yes, I would like a more detailed explanation of how profits are made.  I see the dividend history, but I am not understanding the fundamentals.  If everything developed is open source, then what gets sold?  Thanks.

DVB does open source development, from what all developers profit by taking action. Usualy when someone does benefit from open source he is generous in return to.

DVB uses the merged miningpower of GMP

Designer and Developer:

Please get familiar with FreeCAD and Salome:

http://salome-platform.org/
SALOME is an open-source software that provides a generic platform for Pre- and Post-Processing for numerical simulation. It is based on an open and flexible architecture made of reusable components.
SALOME is a cross-platform solution. It is distributed as open-source software under the terms of the GNU LGPL license. You can download both the source code and the executables from this site.

http://www.freecadweb.org/
FreeCAD features tools similar to Catia, SolidWorks or Solid Edge, and therefore also falls into the category of MCAD, PLM, CAx and CAE. It will be a feature based parametric modeler with a modular software architecture which makes it easy to provide additional functionality without modifying the core system.

This is the DVB standard.

Next Step: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-tftc_nLYI
http://www.openplm.org/trac

We are aproaching the next goal for our developers - the collaboration Platform -  I hope this helps partialy to realize in what direction the project develop itself.
Even we gonna run our own PLM system for the devda.ch projects it its hightly recomended that developers build there own small developing circles by using the presented tools/software for that purpose.

Openplm is the next Step to automatisation - a 2d platform that should allow to create and "realize" reallife objects present in the 3d simulator. To realize means a output on a kind of printer 3d or 2d, independent of the material used for its production.
Meanwhile is our 3d simulator up and running stable but there is still a lot work to do and ongoing. Next target is a stable and secure inworld economy.
You can visit our Grid by Hypergrid Teleport to glari.ch:8002:Campus
Thanks to the designers from the University of California!

Submitting a qcool block with changes. Single piece construction with drilled cores and the ends plugged, relevant internal surface area is about 80 cm2. Should need no more than a pillar drill and minimal tooling to make but a low quality mill/drill would be better suited for significant quantity's.

EDIT: Any suggestions on hosting this as a project linked to qcool?

This device fits to saturn and jupiter, thanks again for the awesome construction stan,

Jupiter 4
Saturn 2

Sure, under the Alps waiting to make worldwide shockwaves of how much $DVC coins are truly worth as the center of the ecosystem of every decentralized crypto asset of any value. It's the base granular and most obscure game theory ever implemented on an asset that does exist on chain but is mostly virtual so it can be fake stolen, offline, fake tanked by the market until one day... all the dev geniuses that work on no longer active online websites like this one are realized as big contributors to the advancement of all cryptos. The people you don't know are the biggest developers and engineers in this world.

From the many one, from one, the source
