Members of bitcointalk, im here to alert you that there is a fake developer for Greececoin. He has cloned the thread layout, design, colors.. basically everything from the real and official version of Greececoin.

The Fake dev has made his thread self-moderated topic so he can remove comments which say the wallet is infected, this is the fake version etc etc. Here is proof:
http://gyazo.com/a130e48b515b8561bc3288a9ac5965c0

The Fake Greececoin thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=525254.0 (DO NOT TRUST THIS THREAD, WALLET IS INFECTED, DEV IS A SCAMMER AND VERY SKETCHY)

The Real Greececoin thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=516955.0
(Coin is being launched tomorrow at 22:00GMT)

This is a community Alert, i do not want anyone getting infected by this scammer. Please stay safe and keep your Anti-virus and firewall ON at all times!

It's a scammer and I'm not sure what I should do. I scanned the wallet and there were no virusses found by malwarebytes. I'll run a full scan before doing anything. I do think the scammer is smart enough NOT to bundle a virus and just rake in the IPO funds.

Although clearly a scammer, I don't think the wallet is infected FYI - but is using the thread as a means to try and steal BTC it seems yes.

They're fake accounts most likely his or his friends, to draw people in so they think its legit and pay the scammer.. It's just common sense. Look at this:

http://gyazo.com/182c8c95c13406fdc00c440cd3a96092
http://gyazo.com/cb82c9ca9cbf065f11d5334ed0d89bf9

That Onie account will most likely send him 9.67BTC in a minute, and then people will look at the blockchain and be like WTF people are buying so it must be legit, people will put there bitcoins in and they'll be scammed. Trust me do not trust a self moderated topic + a dev whom clones a thread, coin idea before launch + even the fucking font and colors.. It's just a NO NO NO!

there is no copyrights in cryptocoins,
there is no real coin and there is no fake coin,
the one which gets adopted and used will win.

What you simply could have done but you not capable is compare the litecoin source to the Greececoin source

https://github.com/checkthecode/litecoin/commit/efc6e6b13085f0d9f3f87361b1d1b4c20dac089d

Quite clearly there is not malware.

Reported for false accusations of malware and encourage others to do the same.

Wallet is not a virus. The Bitcoin miner alert is common in many wallets:

https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/f5a0957742c82ab94af8ce755b6f9425e7a5e18932e3bd99501789e6e46527e3/analysis/1395432190/

It does seem like he is trying to hijack the coin from the original GreeceCoin thread.

The first wallet he released as in the link was infected with malware. He's most likely edited the thread to a working non infected wallet. Either way the coin is a scam.
