Just the other day I wrote in a thread on the Greek board. The topic of discussion that was at hand then is besides the point now, but to put it briefly, there was some political disagreement and I pointed out some contradictions I could perceive in OP's thought process.

Not long after that, I'm being told by OP to drop him a line with my phone number so we can arrange an in person meeting to "solve our differences". As you'll see in the quotes of OP below.
I'm adding the responses in pictures because as we know, crazy people tend to delete their posts. Or in any case post shit so crazy that it gets deleted by someone else. You'll also notice that he's posting in the max font size in bold and in red, also filling near the max height a post allows in his replies, effectively making the thread unreadable.

Today OP continues his threats, this time responding with off-topic replies to threads of mine completely irrelevant to him, saying he got my IP.

I get that this forum sets very few limits to one's free speech, but we have to draw the line at some point. This is no longer about free speech, as cryptosize has taken it a step further and vowed to be a real annoyance for whatever I post around the forum.

Moreover this person is much of the reason the Greek board is abandoned now, as he will go in every new thread and in one way or another find reasons to call the OP and every respondent an idiot, doing his best to show he's above everybody in conjecture also to some conspiracies he believes into about vaccines, the new world order etc. So this is also why the Greek board needs a moderator especially after our beloved ex-mod Mitzie seems to have departed years ago.

I'm making this thread fully expecting cryptosize to show up here as well. I'm just hoping that my thread will help give cryptosize a lesson because obviously he's kept up this antic for too long here.

I have the protagonist of the story on ignore for some reason but I don't remember why. In this case they are not death threats but they do sound like threats to your physical integrity, and in the unlikely event that they could be consummated, you never know how it could end.

I agree, I'm pro free speech, but that's not what this is about. I think the moderators should take action.

Well I don't understand your local language to have full insight on what is happening there, so even though I made some translation I might not get it as original. But howbeit, the only input I have here is that, forum is a large community with many people reasoning differently and of a true most people have the superiority spirits or mindset where they thinks all they speaks is absolutely correct and final.

That notwithstanding, you have to learn how to be free and stay off from political argument and so far, political argument are arguments that often leads to many disagreement between two or more persons but it's advisable to have that knowledge and capacity to respond to anyone technically to avoid attracting unwanted and unwarranted enemies to yourselves because as I know forum here is place for learning and communicating with each other with the sole purpose of sharing bitcoin knowledge than mostly involving one in political arguments.

Like I does, In real life I have experienced in real life where a political argument led to a massive killing that involves two neighboring communities within our geopolitical zones. After this experience I never felt of ever involving myself that much with a political discussion and even if I must, I don't mind setting a limit for myself before it escalates to conflicts.

In my conclusion, you must be very mindful with whom to share your contact, mostly that of your cellphone number as it's also the easiest way to get you tracked. Be matured enough to have known people to share contact with and not just random people out there. And lastly, you need to grow a thick skin to over come some forms of criticism otherwise you would be easily affected and for a big community like this forum, this is always what you would come across since there is always disagreement between two or more persons.

@alani123, if you think you have received a serious threat, then you should act in a way to report it, whether it is a public post or a PM. If the moderators/admin do not think that something should be done, the only option is to put that user on ignore, as well as all members of your local community. Such people live on the attention of others, if you deprive them of it, they will quiet down very quickly.

cryptosize is a part of my ignore list, and I would suggest you to also click a button and ignore him to avoid further conflicts.
I noticed some of his posts should be reported for spamming, and for doing this repeatedly maybe he also deserves to get some punishment from moderators.

First time I am coming across that username and a search to see his posts history will have given me a clearer insight to what pattern his posts and comments are targeted either it be attack on other forum users or just a contributor to the forum discussions, but without going into that or trying to pick side in this matter, I think what the solution is to do place the user on your ignore list, that we you avoid cross fire and possible future confrontations, you also mentioned that you guys made arrangements for physical meeting before the situation took an urgly turn, I think physical meeting will be a bigger risk since you may be facing a higher risk of attacks so metaining your privacy is your key to safety.

We have different forum members with different idealology and ways of reasoning things a d since the forum give a limited rules to freedom of speech, it doesn't mean that we have 100% right to make negative comments against other forum members, so I suggest you report any comment that you feel is against your reputations sand persons, I am sure the admin will take care of such a report ASAP.

Even if you go to a police station bloodied to report a crime you can end up in jail for the night because the assailant sued you back.

The threat part along with him following me around in the forum and posting in my threads off-topic just because he was annoyed with me is why I'm posting here, hoping to draw some attention by mods because I feel as though some rules are violated. Otherwise I don't care about cryptosize's reputation. He might be a good person to trade with, not taking a debate well and having short temper is another thing.

Cryptosize asked me to give him my phone number so he can arrange to meet up with me to "settle our differences in person".
Of course I have zero interest in meeting a dude cursing down my bloodline.
But supposedly he's already working on tracking me down and "has my IP" as he said. This sounds like a threat to me.

I didn't even think about going to the police, I already wrote that you can report his posts to the moderators or, in the case of PM, to the admin - and if they assess that it really is a serious threat, then he will be permanently banned. Honestly, it seems to me that there are only empty threats (though still threats), because you know how they say that a dog that barks does not bite (mostly).

 Honestly, some users don't deserve the right to be given the freedom of speech. So, because my opinion and ideas different from yours you think the best way to get even is to throw insults about? Damn, that's the height of childishness for me. Sometimes I wish fines can be placed on peeps like this when they go out of their ways to make other users uncomfortable asides from the temp or permanent bans because this behavior is outrightly uncalled for.
 I would not hesitate to put such user on ignore if I cross paths because I don't see what use or value he/she/they are adding to the forum other than constituting a nuisance.

people who say this on the internet to strangers are unhinged and you already know that they are up to no good. also, the fact that he gets this worked up because the two of you had a political disagreement just shows the guys have issues(might be mental).

But I think he has deleted the controversial posts, hasn't he? The OP's quotes don't lead me to anything written by him. Surely he received a warning and decided to delete them or they have been reported to the moderators and have been deleted.

The things he said doesn't seem like a free of speech but more like a threat, it seems he is taking up some personal issues with you, else I see no reason why he will go as far as getting your IP and also wanting to get your phone number. You should report to the admin on the forum and if you also sense that he is planning on coming after you for no good, then you need to report to the police.

you are right, I completely forgot about that you can do all that despite being temporarily/permanently banned. anyway, seeing the way cryptosize was replying to alani123's posts previously, he might really be temporarily banned because if the sudden silence on his part.

Daaamn Lamia pressured kalithea a lot and had some good chances but whoever said the game would end in a tie was right. The teams failed to take any risks and didn't secure any goals at all... Absolutely report to Mods. We all come across other with differing points of view and TEXT
as no emotion. Its one thing to have a heated discussion on a topic but to threaten others
should definitely be punished.

For the record, cryptosize had made multiple responses each thread I linked. Some got deleted. Whether deleted by him or mods, we don't know for sure. But if you're curious use loycev's tool to see deleted posts. If also he got temp banned, there's no way to know because it doesn't show up in the mod logs.

To cryptosize: I hope you realize threats are uncalled for and we can be calm in the future. Cheers.
