Their age is both good to match up, Pacquiao still wants to fight and Golovkin is almost 40 as well. Both of them are pressure fighters and I think this is gonna be a good fight so why did it take so long for them to arrange to fight against each other when it should have been done while they were younger.  Golovkin has the advantage, a little younger and I'm not checking it but probably a reach advantage too.

Pacquiao had been fighting with bigger opponents before and he had a way to beat them all, its going to be uncertain when facing this beast. Getting near Pacquaio however, is Golovkin defeat. He had to be careful when getting closer to Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao and GGG are both nice, humble and great fighters on the boxing scene, it's an interesting match.

I knew that Pacman has the ability to be aggressive on the match but I doubt his stamina will stay much longer in the fight, he's too old and barely practice unlike when he's not a Senator.
Also, based on the size, Pacman is too small and yeah, I know that size isn't just the only factor in boxing, but let see. Still hoping for Pacman to win this match.

Got the picture you are pointing. But let's not conclude things right away as looking for Pacman's opponent's past fight is not actually a good reference if Pacman can able to handle it. The way you are describing the fight of GGG, you got carried away to the point that Pacman is just a chicken compare to GGG.

I see Triple G has more of the advantages, no doubt about that, and he is used to bout on middleweight class (154-160lb). I'm not blind at his deadly performance and his record tells it all how deadly he is. But it doesn't mean that Pacman can't handle him.

I really don't like to discuss technical details until the fight has clear progress to happen. If this match will clearly set, let's do gambling here, you for GGG and I'm for Pacman.

Well, I brought up here the image that came from the OP, if you look it regarding their physical comparison Golovkin has an advantage of heights and it is taller than Manny Pacquiao. But as a fellow countryman of Manny Pacquiao, I am going to support him whatever happen on the ring. I believed that this legendary boxer will continue his career in the boxing industry. Indeed, this bothers in my mind, it is a great career move for Pacman to fight GGG?
Well, my boxer idol Manny Pacquiao is a great warrior and he has better odds here.

Agree, if this fight pushes through, it would be devastation on the side of the Pacman. Manny has fought fighter bigger than him before but it is on a catch weight and besides he was on his prime that time. This fight won't take place, too risky for a guy who had everything on his life now, money-wise.

But if they would twist this one and the two will meet at 150 lbs limit then i think Manny had a chance  . This is the only way he would beat GGG.

Well, you got your point, GGG could send Pacman to retirement but I think the probability of that happening is below 50%, that's because I like Manny to win and all we are saying here are just our bias opinion as both fighters are good but in overall stats and achievement, Manny does excel against GGG.

The Canelo who beat GGG looks like an amateur when he fought Mayweather, I would not think GGG is some kind of a special boxer though.

GGV does have an impressive Win-Loss Record with only 1 loss. But when it comes fighting to Pacquaio, I don't look at the stats but rather let's take the discussion on the ring on the actual fight.

Let's not be deceived by the power of GGG because of his much clean records. Pacquaio on the other hand also has an impressive record that involved top boxers. For me, they are equal in strength but Manny is much quicker.

I will be biased for Manny here not just because I'm from PH but when Pacquiao wants to target a fighter, he is determined to take it down.

On this weight division then it would really be hard to tell that Pacquiao would able to pull this up yet we know on what GGG is capable of. Going for another weight class specially for this one wont really be a simple one.
GGG is monstrous and i doubt that Pacquiao could handle it but maybe if this one would talk about speed and agility plus punching power then there might be chance.I havent voted out on the poll because its really hard

Same here, we like to see both fighters being aggressive so the fight will not be boring.
I can see some possible scenario going to happen if Manny will beat GGG, next event would be a Mayweather vs Canelo rematch and if Mayweather wins, Manny vs Mayweather 2 will be next, then they can both peacefully retire.

I think he has still the stamina to fight, if he will stay in shape and do the training like in his previous fights, I am more than positive that he has still the power. I also do like fighters who fight toe to toe as it is not boring for the audience, either PPV or actual. But more than likely, it will be PPV as large crowd in the coming months is still not advisable to most sports. I don't like fighter like Floyd as he is calculating his moves to the point that he is running away from his opponent. Pacquiao is like a street fighter, he will not stop unless he doesn't have the energy to box anymore. So yeah, I'll still go for Pacquiao in this match.

You have to look at why they obviously cherry pick those guys when Pacquaio is at the peak of his career.

1. ODLH was already way past his prime that time.

2. Anthony Margarito yes he is powerful but he is too slow.

3. Both fights are in catch weights.

And we don't know why Freddie Roach is talking about fighting GGG. Maybe he is just excited to see Manny in the ring, but GGG, I don't think so.

I thought he will be fighting crawford a much younger boxer but i guess there's no merit for him in those fighters as they're only rising stars.
Golovkin is a perfect match and it might trigger floyd to come out of hiding, if that is his main goal.

And I thought it would be Mikey Garcia.

We've been talking here about it and we thought that if Manny could fight Garcia, Manny would clapped Mikey Garcia. I am not belittling Garcia, it is just that it is clear that Manny could KO this boxer. In terms of Golovkin, I think this would be a fight just like Margarito where Manny would be fighting another fighter with height advantage against him.

Age is just a number for Pacquiao, he is still capable to fight younger boxer and confident to give his country another honor.

On the other side Golovkin is quite tall and an achiever boxer too. This would be a good fight if push through.
