It was my childhood friend who introduced me to the internet. I only know about computer games like counter strike and no idea that there's more about computers and it's connectivity to the internet.

That friend of mine didn't pursue a career in information technology or with computer-related jobs.

I heard about the internet world from a newspaper from a very long time ago. I tried to go to an internet cafe because at that time, the ISP provider is not many, and to subscribe to the ISP needs big money. I remember that at that time, I use Netscape, AOL, to search what I want, but at that time, the result is not too completed as now.

The Internet is everywhere nowadays, basically just depending on your age and immersion to the new technologies that happened recently.

It's an interactive upgrade to the traditional multimedia content options that we had previously i.e. newspaper, magazines, radio television, etc.

Moreover, it's an all in one package that even competed against other traditional forms of communication i.e. telephone, mobile phone, video phone, etc.

Also, it even became a valid option to compete against satellite land-based vehicle navigation technology i.e. buit-in vehicle navigation, mobile phone navigation, etc.

there's an internet cafe in our college campus back when i was in college and that was year 2000 where internet is not yet big as off today. me and my friends got curious that we chatted through mirc without knowing that internet is needed that time and that were are connected to the internet. lol. then after that we just visited several sites specially band sites like ratm, deftones, chevelle, etc. just to hear snippets from their new albums. haha! and that started it all for us.

I remebered i was playing with my friends it was a game on facebook it's name was backyard moster it was like clash of clans, You can fight with your facebooks friend and destroyed their backyard moster.

It was also a game that my friend introduce, counter strike and dota is really famous way back. I really enjoyed playing with my friends and my brother, We enjoyed spending our way time in computer shops. Online games like CrossFire and Special Forces is one of my fav. when i was young.

Those games are still famous up to date although Dota has transitioned into Dota 2 while CS into another version which is CSGO.
