Request for Notification Feature in the forum

I hope theymos can add a feature that can show notifications for a user that reply to your post on a certain thread(Just like on Facebook notification) which when you click the notif, You can go directly to that reply post. It will be very helpful to have a clear and serious discussion here in the forum. We all know that most of the user here are just doing comment and get tf out on thread without looking back because the thread was easily being flood.

Thank you but I already used this bot before and its really helpful. But the problem is, I don't use telegram anymore since I quit bounty hunting and many user don't used telegram often too. I request this because I saw that a telegram bot can do it so it's possible that the forum can implement it too without using any 3rd party app.

With that, this forum's engine, smf, might be hard to implement such feature, or might take longer for theymos to work

Sure thing this feature is possible on new forum software, although not sure when it will be good to use, maybe on another halving?

Yeah bro. But the problem is when you post on 2nd page and you get a reply on 4th page and so on which is possible especially if topic is hot too many replies happened. When I used that button. It will notify me everytime someone post to the thread and not specifically who mention me.

True but with notification, I do not think such users will be changed or contribute anything good. The users you are talking about definitely do not have any quality post, so they will continue their spam. It may increase more since they will get notification and put some sentences again. For example- cryptotalk.org forum.

This kind of request is not particularly into our forum many people wanted this kind of request too, but the forum has already known and become popular on its simple machine forum or SMF I think for now there is no chance to make a changes on the features of our forum like notification,  all we have for now a notification is via email for the new thread posted to the forum.

instead, you can use the telegram features of our members [TelegramBot] Merit watcher and Mention Notification Bot and [TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+)

How about LoyceV's alternative for Piggy's @mention notification bot?
It won't notify you like what telegram bots do (you don't need them now anyway) but you'll be able read all mentions and quotes on a separate tab. Once you've set it up, just bookmark it.

you will receive browser notification whenever someone quotes/mentions you. Some browsers have compatibility problems tho.

Thus, you need unofficial solutions, if you are not using Telegram bots, you can get notifications in the browser, and then by using a third party you can transfer them to notifications by e-mail, or even by Android/IOS.

No, I use this feature when I quote your post. I only get a notification when you reply to a post. I dont get any other notifications from this thread besides you even though there are many other users who have replied to this topic. I have to test this feature again in the future, whether it works when someone quotes my post even though its not the same person as the post that I quoted.

I want others to quote this post besides TGD to know the truth.
