Graphs! I want graphs Cheesy
I have made a graphs but only use the first week (week 6), median (week 92) and the latest week (week 178). If I use the whole weeks to my graphs, it will mess since the data is really lot instead I use the first, median and latest since we can see the DT1 strength based on it was started, middle and until right now. I think the using of week 92 or median, we can know his performance is consistent. So here it is:

6=Week 6
92= Week 92
178= Week 178

Since I get some idea about that's graph, then I create two specific graph about the DT1 users who always have strength (both plus or minus), then I find The Pharmacist , qwk , actmyname , DarkStar_ , Welsh , Lesbian Cow, krogothmanhattan , Coolcryptovator , o_e_l_e_o , TheBeardedBaby , BitcoinPenny and HostFat who're selected in this graph. It's interesting HostFat always selected as DT1 but due to his strength is minus he can't become DT1.

Then, this graph is the users who doesn't have any DT1 strength on three weeks I mentioned above, that's why their power is 0.

Hope you like it Cheesy

Miscellaneous:
You might want to change the name of Coolcryptovator to The Cryptovator

Hello!
A few days ago, we had a short discussion in our local section if there's an existing topic to look up, how often which Bitcointalk accounts have been DT1 members.
I know about a few statistics from some years ago, when you scraped an overview which Accounts have always been DT1 every round since theymos launched "DefaultTrust 2.0" (voting-based DT).

But after no account has been left, these statistics weren't renewed.
Now my question: is it possible to scrape an overview, which accounts have been on DT most often?
If it's too much work, don't mind.
Or it's an interesting idea for a new topic, if possible.  Smiley

Just get DT1-strength.txt, replace ",," by ",", then count who has the most commas after their name (this includes users with negative DT1 strength, so it only counts the DT1 election winners):

Does this mean I've been on DT1 since I became one? I thought it was a weekly reshuffle, but I keep seeing myself on the DT1 log over and over! Is this a good or bad sign?

Does this mean I've been on DT1 since I became one?
You're looking at the wrong data, but it's correct:

...
Many thanks for your overview. It's been a while since "DefaultTrust 2.0" has been introduced but I didn't expect 196 weeks (more than 3 years already).
So, even the most lucky members have been out of DT1 for some time (165 weeks in compared to 196 possible).

This confirms I am not very lucky on the DT1-lottery, but at least I'm not the only one.
is it possible to scrape an overview, which accounts have been on DT most often?
Just get DT1-strength.txt, replace ",," by ",", then count who has the most commas after their name (this includes users with negative DT1 strength, so it only counts the DT1 election winners):
Code:
    28	2143453,1miau: 145
    45 459836,LoyceV: 129
    74 234771,suchmoon: 108
I'm even more lucky than you and suchmoon.  Cheesy

What charts do you want? Had better luck importing this data than in the past so this is a lot easier now. Much less crashing.

Here's 4 years worth of data from current Top 10 / Bottom 10 DT1 members based on strength:

Here's also one from when you were last on DT1 for the LoyceV vs theymos battle:

Also did Top 11-20 strongest/weakest but they look quite boring. Can't remember how to do projection lines but will try remind myself.

Should probably have date at the bottom, but data doesn't come with dates. And axis labels, maybe.

Edit: there is also an error in there. +1 for whoever can spot it!

Ok I made up some for Total DT1 Positive/Negative Strength as well as how strength is distributed so will update that old thread I guess.

Can't think what else might be interesting to analyse to be honest.

Without wanting to start a new thread, here's my current analysis on LoyceV vs Theymos over DT1 Strength  Smiley

Based on a power trend, you'd sustainably get ahead of Theymos in about 4 years. Your 50 Week MA (roughly 1 year average) has twice tried to surpass theymos' in the past year but no cigar.

In summary, it's too close to call right now, but you are still heading in the direction of overtaking theymos eventually it seems.

So what are the chances of getting DT2 strength data in similar .txt format, presumably from BPIP or otherwise calculated from loyce.club? It's a much longer list I'm aware.

I ask as there's a lot of DT2 members with a lot of DT strength, mainly those who have wiped their trust lists... could be interesting to compare/merge with DT1 graphs.

So what are the chances of getting DT2 strength data in similar .txt format
Changes aren't good Undecided I didn't store DT2-data other than Complete overview of users on DT1 and DT2 and their ratings. That topic has data on DT2-users for most weeks during the past 4 years, but it's spread out over 57 pages (and I don't want to deal with parsing them).

That topic also doesn't have DT2 strength as far as I can tell.

I was more thinking from 200+ weeks of data already stored at https://loyce.club/trust/, then DT2 strength per week could be calculated from:
DT1! inclusions - DT1! exclusions = DT2 strength

Ignoring (DT1) inclusions/exclusions if not mistaken? But no idea how to parse this data myself to create the data.

(I realise this would also calculate DT2 strength for DT1 members unless an additional variable was included, but that wouldn't be an issue)

Anyway, was just a thought, not much else.

Edit: Just realise my theory is flawed, as would only include DT2 members who have created a custom trust list in past 4 years.

Correct. DT1-members with negative strength have no vote on DT2.

Quote
But no idea how to parse this data myself to create the data.
It looks pretty straight forward, but experience taught me it's going to take a couple of hours anyway.
Something like this should work: For each week, grep DT1-users from index.html, then check their Trust list for inclusions/exclusions. Add them all up. If you're going to include DT2-members with negative strength, it's going to be a very long list. JollyGood alone excluded thousands of users.

If you're up for it, I can get you the HTML as compressed file, that saves you downloading 20,000 individual pages (but you'll get a few million pages).

Would it be possible to just get HTML with only neutral/positive strength DT2 members? Ideally in same format as DT1-strength.txt, but imagine that's too much to ask.

Think I could do with avoiding 20K pages if possible, as not convinced my laptop will handle that. Ideally it'd also only show inclusions/exclusions per member from DT1!.

But could see how a file could format itself into a spreadsheet at least. Either it works or it doesn't...

That requires analyzing the data already.... I may do it at some point (when I'm bored enough).

It's not the files I'm worried about, it's importing into a spreadsheet. That's where it usually goes wrong if it's too much data.

It's understandable. That's why I was thinking if the data was already refined to only DT1! inclusions/exclusions, it'd be a lot less data to parse (presumably). But then there's still the issue of thousands of users on DT2 -1, that in all honesty I don't really care about either. There's probably a logical way to parse the data without it taking too long though I imagine, I just wouldn't know how.

I think it's best if I scrape the total DT-strength for all users on DT1 and DT2, instead of just DT2. If it's just DT2, the gaps in the data can either mean the user is on DT1 that month, or the user has a negative DT2-strength. I don't think that gives an accurate overview, so it's better to show the total "DT-strength". What do you prefer?

I agree it makes no sense to show users with negative DT2-strength, but what about users who've had both positive and negative strength? If they go from 2 to 0 it doesn't them do justice if they should have been at -5.

Yes makes sense. I'd prefer the general overview without being effected by DT lottery changes as it were. As then can also compare DT-strength of DT1 and DT2 members combined.

Ideally there'd still be the DT1 data (as you have done for many weeks now) as this data is a lot easier to manage (less of it). Not sure how well spreadsheet will function with a full DT-strength dump  Wink

I agree it makes no sense to show users with negative DT2-strength, but what about users who've had both positive and negative strength? If they go from 2 to 0 it doesn't them do justice if they should have been at -5.

Again makes sense, as I imagine the list wouldn't be that much longer then. Also can compare how many users were DT2 and no longer are, compared to how many are still DT2.
