redownloaded and still got error
I can't tell you why. I've even downloaded and tested the files from another server, and they're all okay:
Code:
wget -qO- http://addresses.loyce.club/blockchair_bitcoin_addresses_and_balance_March_13_2025.tsv.gz | gzip -t
wget -qO- http://addresses.loyce.club/blockchair_bitcoin_addresses_and_balance_March_12_2025.tsv.gz | gzip -t
wget -qO- http://addresses.loyce.club/blockchair_bitcoin_addresses_and_balance_March_11_2025.tsv.gz | gzip -t
(no output means no error)
If anyone else has this problem, please post here. Otherwise I'll assume the problem has something to do with your local setup.

You may have problem with faulty RAM in the last place, maybe too high frequency. I've tested Loyce's three commands and got:

Code:
[0][14:33][user@desktop][/mnt/c/1] $ cat a
wget -qO- http://addresses.loyce.club/blockchair_bitcoin_addresses_and_balance_March_13_2025.tsv.gz | gzip -t
wget -qO- http://addresses.loyce.club/blockchair_bitcoin_addresses_and_balance_March_12_2025.tsv.gz | gzip -t
wget -qO- http://addresses.loyce.club/blockchair_bitcoin_addresses_and_balance_March_11_2025.tsv.gz | gzip -t
[0][14:33][user@desktop][/mnt/c/1] $ ./a | tee -a output.txt
[0][14:36][user@desktop][/mnt/c/1] $ cat output.txt
[0][14:39][user@desktop][/mnt/c/1] $

No errors.

Hi ,Just a quick question for  both your lists ,ALL USED ADDRESSES  AND ALL ADDRESSES WITH BALANCE and its sub directories 1)List of all funded Bitcoin addresses
(sorted by balance (in satoshis), highest first)   and 2) List of all funded Bitcoin addresses
(balance not shown, sorted in alphabetical order) , i just wanted to ask for all the P2PHK addresses ie all addresses that begin with 1 , are they uncompressed addresses or compressed addresses

Yes. They're either compressed or uncompressed, and you can't differentiate between them until they make a transaction.

Bandwidth
Starting December 2024, I have a new VPS. This server is allowed 16 TB bandwidth per month. Enjoy!
That didn't age well Sad
This server has burned through 15 TB of bandwidth this month already, and I don't want it to get suspended. So for now, I've shut down Apache2. It's scheduled to restart in 12 days. This means at least my updates won't be interrupted, but unfortunately, I can't keep this data online at this rate (without getting a new server).
Bandwidth consumption in the past month:
Image loading...
I'm curious about today's peak demand: maybe a script failed and re-downloaded the same data many times?

3.5 years ago, my bandwidth limit was 8 times lower and I had to upgrade:
I'm closing in on another potential problem: this VPS might run out of bandwidth (2TB) before the end of this month. If that happens it will get suspended, and be back online next month. ~

I'm glad to see this data is in high demand though:
Image loading...
Comparing those two graphs shows a huge increase in popularity!

Is this bandwidth limit for you entire loyce.club archive? I don't know if I have anything to do with your increased traffic, but since last week I've been checking some topics for my new ninjastic.space feature, and for every new topic I check, I also request the post from your archive. But at the worst scenario I was only making 1~2 requests per second when running.

No, addresses.loyce.club has it's own VPS (with much cheaper and more abundant bandwidth).

That should at most consume a few GB, not TBs.

Yes, it is, please read above.
LoyceV, maybe you could find a free file hosting service with unlimited downloads that has an API for automated uploads, where you could host at least the most popular files? Or someone from the community with access to high-bandwidth server could volunteer. I cannot, I have limited bandwidth myself.
But if you have the files on a limited-bandwidth server, then a malicious person can take it down by simply redownloading the files over and over again, that's a weak point.

No, only addresses.loyce.club.

If you find one, let me know. But usually "free" file hosting is very annoying to use, with many ads, having to search for the actual download link, and delays before downloading. So I don't expect anyone to offer 15+ TB per month for free for 1.5 GB files that are frequently downloaded by the same people. There's no earning money from that from ads.

There I thought 16 TB counted as "high bandwidth" Tongue

I'm not going to protect this unimportant project against DDoS and script kiddies.

Any other option to get the addresses in the same style as they were on that site?

I'm looking at a rotating circle in my Tor browser. This nicely confirms why I don't like file hosting.

If you can't read the last 10 posts, I'm not going to entertain your questions.

I read it many times, maybe it's a translator issue, because I saw it was offline on July 1st, I think it should be offline until August 1st ? ?

I now see where the confusion came from. This post explains everything, but I now see I typed it wrong in the new title. In 3 days, addresses.loyce.club is available again.

I found 2 TB of bandwidth on an old VPS, so here's a mirror:
http://192.3.47.231/addresses/Bitcoin_addresses_LATEST.txt.gz
http://192.3.47.231/addresses/blockchair_bitcoin_addresses_and_balance_LATEST.tsv.gz
These files will be updated for the coming 4 days, and are scheduled to be deleted in 5 days. Until then: enjoy! After that: my normal site should be back online Smiley

Or just wait 5 days.

Thanks for your reply! Since you mentioned the possibility of sending the list by email, I was wondering — would it be possible to get the list of all Bitcoin addresses with a balance, and in addition to that, include the date of the first transaction for each address?

I understand that this extra information might not have been part of the data shown on http://addresses.loyce.club by default, but if it’s possible to generate such a list, could you please send it to me by email?

Thanks in advance for your time and help!
