World football’s governing body confirms collaboration with green blockchain technology company Algorand
Algorand will become the official blockchain platform of FIFA
Partnership announced by FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Algorand founder Silvio Micali in Los Angeles, USA
FIFA has teamed up with blockchain technology company Algorand to agree a sponsorship and technical partnership deal.

The agreement means Algorand will become the official blockchain platform of FIFA and provide the official blockchain-supported wallet solution. As per the sponsorship agreement, Algorand will be a FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ Regional Supporter in North America and Europe, and a FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023™ Official Sponsor.

As part of the agreement, Algorand will also assist FIFA in further developing its digital assets strategy, while FIFA will provide sponsorship assets including advertising, media exposure and promotional opportunities.

IMO the FIFA ALGO deal is one of the biggest things to happen in the crypto world ever...
The FIFA deal brings so much positive worldwide recognition for ALGO Blockchain tech...
FIFA will be promoting ALGO all over the world.
The world cup is scheduled to take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022.
Qatar is one of the richest countries in the world...The Qataris and other Arabs will be buying ALGO.

Also, Algorand will be an official sponsor of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023.


The sell side on ALGO is real thin, most of the coins are locked up for staking..so expect huge green spikes.

As in the comments made by Wilson on VGC, the license is an obstacle to the series, because it doesn’t allow EA to take advantage of traditional, ad-hoc modes or an enhanced digital ecosystem.

The term digital ecosystems is very vague, but is believed to refer to NFTs as a result of a football player’s current style of mode.

FIFA won’t likely be blocking use of NFTs on ethical grounds, but because it wanted to sell them itself. In last year’s comments, a comment suggested that the esports industry would be better positioned.



This year will be the last EA FIFA game FIFA 23.

From then on a new FIFA game will be out and NFTS,FUT and other things from the game will be built on ALGO.
