As if the price will always reflect right after the halving, remember that the corona hit traders/people and the economy really hard, even some might say that the price of btc doesn't have a direct relation to those events but people do, especially traders.

For those that thought institutional and other serious money would invest in BitCoin, it is not going to happen.

What predictions? Have you taken a look at the chart yourself because we are still on track to the moon.
Price hasn't ever rocketed right after halving anyway so what did you expect exactly and why?

There's nothing wrong with speculation to the market, what is wrong with people is that they already assume that it is going to happen just LIKE YOU. You were not sure whether it is going to go up or down, that's why you are discussing it right now? ironic. And for so long that bitcoin halving is occurring, I can say that the speculation on the 3rd halving is the biggest as it reflects how huge and active the market is. Speculation is what makes the market run, it is core actually. I bet you expected it to skyrocket right? 

I've been tracking this user since day one, he always talks the failures and negative side and I myself do not consider it as constructive criticism.

The validity of these predictions cannot be judged so quickly. True that there's no positive result yet but remember it was just last month. The current economic situation won't really make a positive impact come very easy like it use to. The only way we can know if it makes any impact is if this pandemic is over and the next halving.

There are some scenarios. Traders who invested good amount of fiat into crypto before halving to make short term profit will start selling. According to coindesk news, miners are holding their btc. Soon they will start selling to pay their bills atleast. If corona 2nd waves hit again, tgere will be sale off, cause traders are actually human. And small miners are kicked out from play due to halving.
If btc price doesn't go up, miners will have to stop the operation. And halving  means low reward for miners, means less supply.
History shows, halving helped btc to grow. We saw good year fir btc on 2017 and halving occured on 2016. So many variables, so mana data, hard to predict actually

I can pretty much tell the price of gold based on how many posts Hard Facts makes at this point. Whenever gold is having a little rally, this Peter Schiff worshipper shows up to tell us how bitcoin is terrible and how his Lord and Savior is a genius, despite the fact that every prediction Peter Schiff has ever made on bitcoin has been wrong. Whenever gold is down, Hard Facts is mysteriously absent from the forum.

Peter Schiff promised $5k gold years ago. He also promised $1k bitcoin years ago. Every time someone in an interview points out how wrong he is, he just doubles down and gets proved wrong again. The man has all his wealth in gold, suffers from horrendous confirmation bias, and can't be taken seriously by anyone with half a brain.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not disparaging gold. I like gold, and I own some, but you are a moron if you listen to Peter Schiff (or Hard Facts).

This isnt always the case and you cant make any conclusion that this was a failure.Do you really expect that this is already the price on which the halving effect do have?

In most scenario it wont really target out shorter time frame but rather this do talks about long term ones.People might really be over-exagerrating things too much but

we should accept that its too early to make judgements just because people didnt able to meet their expectations on halving even on onpoint basis? thats a wrong mindset actually.

Too early to say that we are in failure. Halving impact to the market isn't that mold and quickest thing to see right after the event. If you could see the impact of the previous 2 Bitcoin halvings last 2012 and 2016, you can see that it works almost a year of waiting. We are already a few steps ahead for this year's halving and for sure we can't see the result that instant.

May I am one of those believers and belong to Cult of Believers that is why a don't have to lose my hopes and have to patiently wait for it. Because pretty it will come sooner and that you'll be surprised.

It's working out great for me. Before the halving Bitcoin was in a bear market and now it's holding steady between 8500 and 9500 dollars. Not a bad value if you ask me, someone who got in years ago.

If Peter Schiff is your ideal financial adviser you should stick to gold forums if any such thing exists. In bitcointalk, people talk about price, but also talk about technology. In reality I think it's all conjecture but I would agree to you that it was mostly already baked in to the price already.  However I do think the fact hat bitcoin has been holding steady above the 9k range, that that halving effect does has something to do with.

Well, actually everybody has their own right to tell about something. And everybody has their own right to believe or not about the opinion or prediction. Such as what happened to the Bitcoin halving. Many expert predict its increases in the price of BTC. But, who knows that the pandemic will come to us so quickly without anybody realizing it at first? Although it may give a small influence on the progress of BTC, this pandemic really gives an impact to the miner, trader, and also investor. SO far as I know the people around me are trying to sell their BTC for food. Why? Because they have no choice with it, trying to hold BTC but they have no cash for food daily. this is ironic but this is the truth and what I feel now. No job out there and no activities can be done.
Although many people can try utilizing this pandemic for trading, not all people can do that.

I think it should not be "It NEVER HAPPENED", but it doesn't happen yet.
We all know that the halving was already done almost two months ago. We can judge that the prediction of the price will go wrong only in these two months. Although we all know that the progress of the price after halving is so slow, but doesn't mean that this is not working out.
We can still have our own belief whether believing in the Bitcoin with whatever the price or leaving BTC.
Personally, I trust BTC

yes i remember predictions saying bitcoin will die, miners will leave, hashrate will drop, blocks will take days to be found,... and now we can see that not only none of that ever happened but also hashrate grew more after the halving.

those expecting price to rise had never seen the charts before and were just hyping. price will always rise but a little while after the halving. right now we are in that accumulation phase that will lead to the rise soon.

What you need to know is: you must understand from the Bitcoin mining costs incurred by Bitcoin miners, if production costs are greater than the current price of bitcoin, miners can automatically out of business, (LOSS) with the simplest reason they actually sell their reserve Bitcoin for production costs which must be spent every day/month and year.

Example: if we compare the production cost to $ 5 thousand, at least the price of Bitcoin on the market will be $ 10 thousand, this can make miners think positively, not vice versa $ 5 thousand of production, $ 5 thousand of market price.

Absolutely and i don't know whats is OP's problem it seems that the Man is not updated in news worldwide.

How can he expect a Skyrocketing when there is a  Virus that Killing people around the world?
Don't he Think this will now affect the Crypto market.

And also maybe He is not here back in 2016 when the halving happens,it did not effect that blast in market instead it took more than a year before the highest price reached 20,000$ because the process takes time and not instant.
