Bitpay scam?

Hi Community,

Before 10 days i realized that 0.1582 btc had been sent from my Bitpay account to an unknown address.
I saw that it happened with other accounts of the bitpay.
I ask them to give me the ip and devices by the person who sent my btc but they do not give it to me.
The adress is 1N66dqVsU72rTnqQUwzqFqdG8qoakeFwEf and the hash is 3669382b5d766a70d877e8bcbdb5e70a0d6168dadfbae68c892db42080e79b78

I am sorry for your losses. Such a high amount should never be in an insecure online wallet, but in a Hardware wallet.

Bitpay is not a scam.

They do not know the IP address, as someone hacked your device and stole your funds.

May I ask, how did you keep your seed words? Did you wrote it down in a piece of paper or in a gmail draft, txt file, etc? Unless it is in a piece of paper, the seed leaked from any of these sources.

Most likely, you are the only one to blame for losing your funds and getting hacked... you probably have an infected device.

Transactions in blockchain are irreversible, there is nothing you can do.

You should avoid BitPay and use Bitrefill or btcpayserver.org, as those services allow you to transfer funds from a much safer wallet (such as a hardware wallet). btcpayserver is also open source.

Consider buying a hardware wallet.

Bitpay has been secured for years and aren't scamming any of its users (based on my experience, which I haven't held that much amount as the OP). Maybe you had been scammed by one of a scammer that uses Bitpay as his front pretending he's a BItpay support. It is already reported on their platform a month ago and you might have encountered such tremendous activities (See the article here: Known Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Scams To Watch Out For

The only chance your money had been stolen is by either the aforementioned scam or your account's vulnerability - meaning that someone had target you and as your security measures of your accounts isn't that well-enough. And your IP requests are too ridiculous, even any platform doesn't record such sensitive information.

Indeed, huge amounts shouldn't be on online wallets but rather be held on HW/Custodial Wallets. And funny thing is that he had 0.1+ worth of BTC yet he hadn't considered buying a much secured wallet first lol.

No Bitpay isn't scam at all. There is two possibility, either your seed has been compromised or your device has been compromised. Did you attempt to transfer fund during that time and did you copied address from somewhere? If so then likely your clipboard has been hacked. When you copy any address it will replaced automatically by scammers/hackers address. If not then your seed or deviced compromised. Where had you saved your seed?

Anyway don't use this wallet anymore and clean/format your device and check viruses. It's more better to use hardware wallet if you are going to store such amount. Or at least use one of good non-custodial wallet like Electrum. But if you can't safe your seed then any wallet isn't safe for you. Besides that any wallet will not share personal credentials with anyone. Because who own seed phrase, he is the owner of wallet. So you shouldn't expect ip address from where it has been transacted.

I have hardware wallet and i sent the btc from the hardware wallet to bitpay wallet to buy something.
At that  time there was a problem with their connections and after 3 hours where i connected
the btc were gone.Why there was not notification in my email that someone connected to my id
from different device?

This is the set of questions that needed to be answered first before making a valid/legit accusation against an online wallet:

• Have you really redirected to original Bitpay website?
• Does it have SSL^[1] indicated on the link after you've visited it's website?
• Did you really entered correct credentials on the website?
• Is it really their connection or yours, that had a problem?
• Is the device you've used in opening their website is secured with updated anti-virus software and doesn't have any malware applications installed?
• Have you think your security in your side is strong enough for hackers/thieves to have difficulties entering?

There are still a lot of open ended questions before accusing such website especially their transaction system. Better answer such queries first so we can prove and support you.

Wth everything stated by the OP the cause of the problem have nothing to do with SSL or from the OP ending. From his statement the circumstance occurred when Bitpay had connection problem when hacking took place and OP is not the only user that experienced the issue.

I sent the btc from my hardware wallet and  i tried to connect via mobile application
but there was a problem.When i connected  the btc were gone.I can not  not understand
how the hacker knew that the btc went before from me and why no notification came to
my email when the hacker connected my ID. I want to know the ip address and available
 data of that person that ordered further transaction.These are common information all
platforms provider but the bitpay does not give me I use and others platform and wallets
with btc for years without problems..Why the hacker did not get the btc that were constantly
in my wallet but took these where were an hour?
I am willing τo take all possible legal actions and i need your help!
