While I somewhat agree with your viewpoint, I wouldn't call coins such as BNB and Tezos as "real" coins. BNB after-all is not a true cryptocurrency. It is just an exchange token. You have answered your own question, the moment you stated that you have never invested in a single project that was the moment you should have realized you should not invest in any asset that is as risky, when it comes to investing it is better to start slow, if you do not have bitcoin then this could be a good moment to get some, after you have proved to yourself for some time that you can hold your bitcoin even when it goes down and you acquire more knowledge then that will be the moment to begin to consider to invest in some other coins if that is what you really want at that point.

There are better coins that are way better than curio invest project, this coin is not even on the list of top 100 on coinmarketcap, I think you aren't that good with doing research, it's still better to put aside investing right now and do some learning, all you need is knowledge and you won't find one until you start seeking for it

Curioinvest position on coinmarketcap is 2304 which means the project isn't doing too well, the only one thing I like is the limited max supply of just 2,000,000 CUR tokens, that's awesome, meaning if development continues token can have better value in future, be careful though, invest only what you can afford to lose

I will prefer to invest in other altcoins rather than it because it don't have that much pontential to give some returns or show good performance. Try to invest on those alts which are going to have some major events like mainnet or contract upgradge or big exchange listings for short time trading and profits, but you must do it after your own researchs. Also be careful about any alts because those can dump in huge if btc dump.

What's the real reason you chose this project? Hope it's not because of its small max supply? This doesn't mean the project will do very good in future, you need to make research on team and development, this is very important, for me I'd choose coins like

1. Hot (Hologen)
2. Pundix
3. Ripple

Over curioinvest, the coins on my list have big max supply but are better developed and we'll supported, it's not always about max supply

Few reasons why I think curioinvest isn't that great

1. Less known, not that popular
2. Bad rating on coinmarketcap
3. Low max supply means nothing compares to use case
4. Limited listed exchanges
