If a lot of people are joining the bitcoin market then the price will always keep on rising and this is good for the future of bitcoin. The only problem in this scenario would be a mass sell-off in case of a market crash or when there is economic unrest in a country. Talking about bitcoin as a boring investment then I am absolutely sure that it isn't boring as compared to real estate trading or purchasing and holding gold for life. There are still about 2.5 million coins to be mined, while daily only 900 are mined. Plus all the future halving. The time when miners will run out of coins wont be soon. I would not worry about that much.

What worries me is fact that bitcoin is now not a encrypted, trasparent and cheap way to transfer funds, but becomes more like a source of investment. It is like buying a mobile phone and use post to communicate, while keeping a phone sealed.

Bitcoin is not yet fully adopted anywhere and many countries didn't accept or not yet legalize t,so how it could be a common and boring investment? Bitcoin is the best crypto investment with higher value ,with more adoption in the future and with a a great usage. Look,this time that unemployment continue to increase ,bitcoin and other crypto investment is another source of income to survive daily needs.

Nice survey, I think that the number of respondents can always be higher, but the data still show that we are still far from a major adaptation.

Every crypto article are most likely to have different results as they have different amount of respondents, but we can't also deny that this survey is close to the actual number of people who owns Bitcoin. It was also stated in the article that there are actually more or less 50% of the population from EU, Australia and North America who are well aware of Bitcoin but didn't own one. So yeah, from that information alone we can really say that we're still far from major adaption.

However, it should be taken into account that people do not always tell the truth, and that it is easiest to say yes or no, no matter what the question was.

I don't know but I can't find any reason for someone to lie and say no If they were asked about Bitcoin in their possession except the concern about security. As much as that was the intention of Mr Satoshi to use btc as a digital currency but unfortunately it is not that simple because of the limited acceptance, not many online or offline stores accept btc, not everything we consume can be bought by using btc, and for that to happen will take some good amount of time, and in the main time, some people will find it too boring just sitting in the wallet especially now that the market looks a bit stagnant,

The world "Boring" is the opposite of Bitcoin. If you check the price movement dominance during one single day you will understand that Bitcoin is one of the most active markets to trade these days. But investing, Bitcoin used to stop trading for a few days in the begging and everyone said bitcoin is dead, after the dump at 2018 and 2015 again many people were saying bitcoin is not that much attractive for investors but they were all wrong. Here we have the same situation, Bitcoin is still super awesome for many investors, including me.
