Wallet.dat can be easily modified to display falsified balance or transaction. It doesn't have to contain any private key or any encrypted version of the private key for that matter. Beware of purchasing any wallet.dat online, you're most certainly going to be scammed.

Escrow is pointless if you send a empty wallet, there's plenty of recovery services out there, I even sent you one.

In any case I'd pay after wallet cracked and funds secured, it's just too good to be true, and i now see up to 5 alts after a quick look.

Terms would be:
1- I recieve the wallet.dat and I hand it to crackers
2- Wallet was cracked isn't corrupted and funds were secured.
3- you can have 8 whole bitcoins.

You can actually see the address with funds but that doesn't make me feel any better, just a small look around profiles and i can say with 80% certainity we talking to 5 different alts and different scammy looking services.
edit: Maybe two or three accounts discarded but i'm certain of two.

Also he seemingly lost access not long ago, which makes less sense if you has a recent picture of a 2010 address how can you forget that password after accessing it for 10 years.

Ain't snitching on any alt since none done an actual scam, and not negative rating since that doesn't work very well for me.

There's plenty of services and ways to recover it and your proposal just make no sense. Why not the escrow holding the funds until password is broken? It also feels strange you forgot your password a while ago after opening it for 10 years, and first claim it has 6-9 chars but then ever 13, i consider anything under 31 chars not safe but requieres time, been 7 years on the forum almost and for sure 7 of crypto, I do love making scammers lose time and patience and I been doing it for 5 years.

But hey it's a free forum you can be whatever you want as long as you lick the right arse.
