Sadly, that casino has always an advantage over the gambler.

As Bitcasino.io Support mentioned, casino has always instruments to investigate if a person played and won fair or not fair. But if a gambler losses, he can not check if he had lost fair of game algoritm was modified. And house edge everywhere makes statement "House always win" proven.

While the answer provided from bitcasino , made in someway sense .  There's still some uncertanty about it .    At this point it is just a he said / they said scenario .   While the user claims they settled for 48 btc ( though makes 0 sense why he'd say that ) , bitcasino claims there was no settlement and user's account is frozen and funds won't be available for him .

Also one more thing , if this person was caught before trying to scam bitcasino etc , and you have blockchain evidence that ties him to a previous user , why didn't your anti-fraud system flag him straight since the moment he made the deposit on bitcasino.   Since these work way beyond ip analyzis and are dealing with blockchain evidence etc , should be an automated system Smiley.

And also , an important question , if he's been doing this for a very long time , scamming big amounts of $ from multiple casino's and game providers , as you mentioned gameart is well aware of the guy , why haven't until now any legal actions taken against this guy ? For fraud , etc . I'm assuming when someone steals a lot of money , they at least get reported , face legal repercussions etc.

Anyway ,it could be , we made a deal already , so we'll say this story to save face kind of scenario ,   it could be  aswell   that bitcasino's absolutely correct on this matter , and all they've said there was true .

So time I go back and hide under my rock again.

Very detailed explanation from Karl of bitcasino.io. I already thought that there is something wrong on the post of LAngel about winnings on Dawn of Olympus casino. I play that slot many times and I never encounter that x5700 on free spin alone. His luck during his free spin is a bit extraordinary.

And I believe that he will used the video during his game as alibi so that his cheat will be cover and also to get support here in forum which is quite effective because personally I believe on his winnings due to the video.

Hi everyone,

We were made aware of a thread recently created, the thread is now locked and contains incorrect information which we’d like to set straight.

Before getting into the case, I want to acknowledge a point that was made in the now locked thread around the gravity of the situation
and the potential positive or negative impact on our reputation.

With that in mind, we think it’s crucial to share some of our reasoning and proof behind why we’re certain that LAngel’s winnings
are not legitimate and are a result of fraudulently manipulating GameArt’s Dawn of Olympus.

This is not the first encounter we’ve had with this person and this was made crystal clear when we uncovered a 100% match to a previous user
who had been investigated and subsequently blocked for tampering with games.
We use a wide array of industry-leading detection tools, 100% across them is unambiguously a match.

Previously, this user managed to extract a large amount of BTC from ourselves and also hit a few other crypto casinos in a very similar manner.
For this reason this person is widely known to ourselves, other crypto casinos and at least GameArt, if not other game providers.

Furthermore, KYC has been consistently inconsistent and while for privacy reasons we can’t post the submitted KYC here,
we can say without any doubt that the KYC documents submitted are not valid.

We know however that our community here requires something more tangible than simply our word.
Below, you will see the publicly available proof from the Blockchain supporting our findings that there is indeed a pattern of a single individual
who we know to be manipulating and exploiting games across casino operators, and that LAngel is not as legitimately lucky as would have you believe.

Transaction 1 where 0.483 BTC is moved to 14t9Ff3yUgwcQm5HsAsL5Rq7meBBCDT8g5

Given the 100% match, our fraud team’s extensive findings supported by GameArt’s investigation and the history we have with this user
the account will not be unfrozen and the funds will not be paid out. There is no settlement, this is false information.

Bitcasino has been around for just over six years now, that type of longevity is not possible in our industry if you’re scamming or acting with ill intent.
On average we pay out legitimate winnings in two minutes but we will never be publicly blackmailed into paying out illegitimate gains.

There may be people here who, for their own reasons, will not want to believe or agree with our decision.
To that we can only urge everyone to think critically about this case and explore the evidence available.
There are plenty of red flags that can be seen in the original thread, from the YouTube video to now being private to the very fact that the
user has been withdrawing 25BTC over the past few days - something which has already been noted by Bitcointalk members.

We will continue to work with our fellow crypto casinos and game providers to ensure that we are aware
and can protect ourselves from future attacks on both the technical and reputational fronts.

Currently, we’re in talks with the other casinos and those businesses affected to see whether or not they are happy to go public with their encounters with LAngel.
While we can’t make them, we strongly believe it’s important for our community to be united against such manipulation.

Lastly, we say it a lot but fun, fast and fair isn’t just our marketing motto - this is what we work and live by at Bitcasino.
We’re hopeful that the community here will explore the case and support us on the matter as it has done so many times before.

Should any member of the community have more information about this individual please feel free to reach out to enquiries@bitcasino.io or to myself.
You can also do so anonymously if you feel the need to.

Cheers,
Karl
Bitcasino.io

In as much as these evidences are glaring enough for even a dumb and deaf person to read them aloud. You have detected a fraudulent act on the player's account on several occasions, no legal action was taken. Or is your company fraud tolerance?

I think we can settle this , can anyone check the transactions that happened between 11:00-12:00  AM forum time ?    user LAngel claimed he received the first 4 BTC of his settlement at that time .  so if someone actually has the time to go through the blocks mined in that time we should get some clear evidence if LAngel is lyeing or not.

LAngel is a lying hacker who created a video, deleted it, and then proceeded to lock his thread.

You should consider reading the evidence before trying to continue to stir the pot on a case that has already been considered closed.

Kind of strange, though, don't you think? After all, if it's a throwaway account, whether the thread is active or not doesn't really matter to them. Not only that, but if they knew that they were in the wrong, wouldn't it make sense to just stop replying and simply disappear?

All of the behavior is completely irrational.

It won't prove anything. Just the fact that a 4 BTC transaction occurred within an hour, which I think would be a very probable event.

Actually there's a chance that in that timeframe  there isn't an exact 4 btc transaction , at least we could prove the guy was obviously lieying or not.

The question still remains 😬 if it was a real win which is plausible because even the Bitcasino site says max win 10,000x would/could they have paid?

Probably a good idea for yahoo to edit the thread title, especially after the response & subsequent revelations from Karl at bitcasino.io

‘Bitcasino.io comes to a non disclosed agreement with a user who won 171 btc’

Isn’t really accurate now we know what we know, only a suggestion though.

To think that he hit many casinos small and big and made probably hundreds of btc, he must be smart as fuck.

He deserves respect for this reason alone.

On the other hand a smartass like him could have made his money from more legitimate ways instead of robbing casinos.

Mixed thoughts.

This is one of those situations where the villain of the movie was too smart you actually start to like him.

That's a lot of legwork but I think bitcasino.io support was telling the truth here, a pretty bad slap from LDevil. The blocks from 11-12 AM forum time were block 638281 - 638286, this isn't accurate I guess but you may go through it.

Cheers,
Karl

yeah, i was very certain this was the case. i dont even know if its possible to win that much btc on slots, they arent designed to give out prizes of million dollars to people. Industry would go bankrupt if they were.
Very curious to know how it was done though, but we will never find out.
Anyone thinking bitcasino is in the wrong, think about it rationally... these slots are designed to suck money out of addicts, not give out million dollars.

I think I am the only one who thinks that this reasoning is a bit vague. I can't argue about the KYC documents, but a few things are a bit Huh

With that in mind, we think it’s crucial to share some of our reasoning and proof behind why we’re certain that LAngel’s winnings are not legitimate and are a result of fraudulently manipulating GameArt’s Dawn of Olympus.

How can this (still) be possible, if....

This is not the first encounter we’ve had with this person and this was made crystal clear when we uncovered a 100% match to a previous user who had been investigated and subsequently blocked for tampering with games.
We use a wide array of industry-leading detection tools, 100% across them is unambiguously a match.

....you knew about this being possible before.

Previously, this user managed to extract a large amount of BTC from ourselves and also hit a few other crypto casinos in a very similar manner.
For this reason this person is widely known to ourselves, other crypto casinos and at least GameArt, if not other game providers.

Why was this user still allowed to play on your site ?

I think you should take some blame too for a) leaving some possible exploit on the table and b) still sticking with the user, as long as he was probably "useful".

Below, you will see the publicly available proof from the Blockchain supporting our findings (...)

This is really just some support, but no proof. It's not forbidden to send crypto to a friend, who happens to also have an account at the same site you are playing. I do this all the time with a friend of mine, and we are different persons, with seperate accounts and not multi-accounting. We would also fund the other ones account from our own BTC addresses. Probably not very clever though Grin In the end these blockchain transactions are just circumstantial evidence imo.

I just came to this case a few minutes ago and found this thread after read the locked one.
The sole fact that the user(the hacker in this case) removed the Video and edited the OP was quite fishy.
We have seen many other cases like that handled in pure transparency, and I would assume that a reputed casino will never make a "secret" deal after being exposed without coming forward to explain the situation. This will just ruin their reputation to the ground.
In this case I'm on Bitcasino's side.

The Bitcasino did provide a trail. We are not sure how true these transactions but I wouldn't think the casino would lie to this because if they did Langel would have been here complaining still. You see there was no settlement being done said by bitcasino because they've dealt with this guy many times before. If anything Langel would probably insist for 171BTC if he did nothing.
