hello everyone, as you can see this is my first post. i know how every forum hates newbies but i need some help badly. i understand what bitcoins are for the most part and have been doing the research. but i have had a lot of trouble figuring how to get them. i downloaded the bitcoin program, but i can't figure out how to get them. mt gox blocked my ip address saying for too many failed login attempts when i didn't even have one failed attempt! and i've heard a lot of negative things. what are the easiest ways to get bitcoins? can i with my pre-paid debit card? any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

Hello that is wierd about mt gox - you have to send money to tradehill, or campbx to buy bitcoins - that requires most likely dwolla.com to do so it's alot!
