I hate the idea of government babysitting people.
Kids play can't play in casinos because government thinks they know what is good for them. If the kid got money, probably that's because he father gave it to them. Let them play whatever they want.

No KYC is amazing for freedom.
So, you would like if your 12 year children would start to gamble online and get addiction to gambling? I also don't like government control and KYC, but I don't think children should gamble when they got money from parents. At least until they reach certain age, something like 16, when they are clever enough to understand all risks.
^ Or!, much better if they don't expose to gambling activity. I won't give money to my kids if don't have the necessary things to buy. They always guided us and focus more on learning stuff. As parents, we should know all the activities that our kids do. If your kid is addicted to gambling I won't blame any gambling instead of me. Because that's our responsibility to teach and guide in a right manner and good habit.
Nevertheless, I don't think if gambling will provide fully KCY in the future because of this problem but still gambling anonymously has been a good favor to us as a gambler.

I was shocked the other day, when my cousin told me about a friend of his that won a significant amount of money on a Crypto currency online gambling site. The site is not regulated and they also did not ask for KYC documentation to process his withdrawal.

It is easy enough for these kids to use their parents ID and Bank statements to register for KYC validation on these sites, because they do not ask for photos of that person with his documentation when you register a new user.

This will never happen with Brick n Mortar casinos, because the adult is matched with his ID Document.

How can we make sure that kids are not exposed to gambling at a very early stage, when they might not be ready to deal with the consequences? Gambling addiction is not a joke and these kids might turn to criminal actions to fund their gambling addiction.

Let's brainstorm.  Wink

Theres no other way but this one will matter much on parenting issues, if you do explain to them well on how gambling do mess up someones life then they might realize that they are doing wrong at very early age.

It cant really be stopped as long he does have access to internet specially now that crypto gambling sites do exist where KYC doesnt really ask that much. This had been a typical situation not only happening to crypto but also in fiat itself.

One thing is also to lock up all of your documents out of his reach or even your ID's etc.

the friend of your cousin is a kid ? why he would believe on a kid , when we knew that kids can lie at all times unless he shows a legit proof that he really won  and you said the site dont ask a kyc but why they need kyc validation and need bank statements , etc  .  the site is faulty if they require a kyc but without photo included because a real working site always ask for pics of your self aside from the pics of your id's .   kids only want to have fun so i wont worry that they can get addicted  , they still have many time to grow up and correct thier wrong doings
