It's not normal when there was a very big movement when it has released a crap news like what happened with doge and it was pnd scheme. It will change when ethereum will have implemented the POS system to decrease the inflation in the market.

If the altcoin market can start to increase before bitcoin increases, then that would be signed for the crypto market to recover. It cannot always happen as we want because when bitcoin price starts to increase and hit the highest price, many altcoin are waiting for a while to grow, and some of the altcoins are down and make a correction. I don't know about DeFi projects, but perhaps, people now have an interest in that project, so they invest their money in that project.
