'holydarkness' is putting his time and efforts in Bitcointalk forum and working like a mediator for free. I appreciate his efforts and trust his judgement here. I believe a lot of forum members do the same. Despite that, he has been criticized by some users (abusers) for showing neutral view or making judgements by following the evidence. It will be great if BTCGOSU create a mediation center and hire people like him.

BTW, a mediation center will help BTCGOSU to gain more recognition among gamblers. I hope you'll implement it soon.

Status update regarding Starbets

Hey everyone,

we wanted to share a quick but important update regarding one of the brands we’ve worked with in the past: Starbets.

After months of declining communication, unresolved affiliate issues, and most recently a concerning public statement from a Starbets admin in their official Telegram group, we’ve decided to take action.

A user asking about a pending withdrawal was told the following by a representative:

“You need to wait until we will approve it, could take a long time.”

This vague statement, with no explanation or timeframe, raises serious concerns about the handling of player funds.

Normally we don’t post public updates for every operator issue – but in this case, we’re doing so because we’ve actively promoted Starbets in the past, and we believe it’s our responsibility to keep our community informed.

As of now, we’ve suspended all promotional activity for Starbets, added a visible warning to the Starbets review on BTCGOSU, placed the listing on hold until further notice

BTCGOSU remains committed to player protection, transparency, and long-term trust.

We’ll continue to monitor the situation and adjust our stance if anything meaningfully changes.

Increasing number of complaints also shows how much the gambling industry is growing,  so let's expect to see more cases.

Increasing number of complaints also shows how much the gambling industry is growing,  so let's expect to see more cases.
the industry is already in the tens of billions in terms of revenue and that was just last year. when i started gambling with crypto a few year back it was only in the tens of millions.
but sports betting specifically is growing at a crazy rate, and it's also what getting the most complaints from what i have noticed on ADRs and here on the forum.

that's definitely gonna benefit btcgosu greatly, but it's not easy to implement it the right way. but i trust @efialtis won't disappoint if he go thru with it in the future.

I dont have account at Starbets and I never used this casino.
I find it interesting to see that most issues customers have with casinos are when they request withdrawals.
Maybe problem is with their poor customer support, I have seen this happening many times with casinos.

This is really surprising when a few years old casino can't process small withdrawals like that. And the alarming part is their statement about the estimated time to process the withdrawal. They may resolve the withdrawal related issues, but I won't trust a platform like that. I'm going to remove them permanently from my KYC and bonus information thread.

You can easily check it from BTCGOSU review page: Bitcoin Casino reviews. Bad partner casinos ratings are usually 0.5 at BTCGOSU, and those casinos link will redirect you to a different casino from BTCGOSU.

The mediation center would be great for several reasons, both for players as well as for the GOSU business - at the same time, it comes with a lot of challenges. Setting it up requires a lot of work (technically but not only that, I need to "design" how it`s supposed to work, etc.). And then it will also require additional time and energy to maintain it once it`s up and running. There`s a serious investment required to get this going and it`s not like crypto players would all come to GOSU and submit their complaints on our site, which means we would also have to advertise/market it. As you can see, there`s a whole lot to be considered. Ultimately though, I do think that I would be a much better mediator than anyone else out there when it comes to crypto gambling (sounds arrogant but it is what it is). Wink

Terminated casinos have a 0.5 rating for now, that`s right but it will change soon and we will have a "terminated" flag - until now I have had no way of doing this properly, which is why I had to go with the 0.5 rating workaround. Also, when you open an actual review page, you will see an alert box at the top.

I think you are doing pretty well already. Adding the mediation service will probably increase the number of users on your website. But you have to be ready to handle some shitty, angry players who will start blaming your service if you cannot satisfy them. Look at the holy darkness. This guy is doing everything for the players and the casinos without getting paid, but at the end of the day, some people call him out because they are not satisfied.

I believe you will have to face a similar situation and handle these people, too, if you enter into mediation services. But overall, it's a good decision to increase the business size. Considering how reputable Holydarkness is, you may consider a big position for him in your company.

But I think they will resolve that too, because if they really have bad intentions, why would they give such updates if they are not serious about the previous issues, right?
Although, I also cannot deny that there are other casinos that if the intention or plan was bad from the beginning, there would be no such announcement.

That is not what starbets did, let's give them time to fix the issues they had with other users who were here a few months ago. Even if their support was poor, they should improve it immediately so that they don't completely ruin their players.

It's great to see BTCGOSU keeping their ratings and reviews up to date. If any casinos go rogue, they adjust accordingly.

Congrats, Mahdi. Well deserved.. Because you guys had more tickets compared to those who didn't win. I would've felt bad if I were in your position and still didn't win despite having more entries.

It's great that all of the top 5 users with the most tickets also won in the raffle. What made this raffle even better is that once a user won a prize, they were no longer eligible to win other prize unlike other raffles I know where the same person can win multiple prizes if their name keeps getting drawn. I think Stake.com's weekly raffle works that way.

First of all congrats to all the winners from the BTCGOSU Anniversary Giveaway.
