Not all altcoins are worth investing they might run away with your money because not all of them is you worth of your time and money, other altcoins just die every fast after their sale.
There are a lot of altcoins and most of them are useless, but some of them can be worthwhile for investing in. As you above mentioned not all of them brings profit to investors, but if you make good research about project which you want to invest in, it can be the best way, on the other hand you can lose your money. l think top altcoins are worth to buy and to hold till right day. l prefer investing in BNB, ETH. Both of them have more potential than other altcoins. I think it is advisable to invest only half of the assets when entering this market and allocating funds to suit the market's current situation. Currently, BNB and ETH have always been considered the two investments that have been mentioned a lot in recent years and actually just holding these two coins will help you earn big profits. However, it would help if you also spent time analyzing the market because crypto is a very volatile and risky place. |

There are a lot of good projects during this time, but take the time to learn and use a lot of analysis tools because you cannot predict anything. it's not all but the whole of top coins really worth for investing right now. I have been starting to accumulate more money from holding ethereum right now as it was very bullish since yesterday. i have expected we will see $500 will have achieved as soon as possible. |

it's not all but the whole of top coins really worth for investing right now. I have been starting to accumulate more money from holding ethereum right now as it was very bullish since yesterday. i have expected we will see $500 will have achieved as soon as possible. X-ray many alt-coins are in bullish trend in the past weeks, which is a good thing for all of us, and many of us are in good profit, many of us who hold top coins. I think this is just a show off what crypto-currencies can really do. This is good for all the people who doubted, now they can be sure in what crypto-currencies are capable of doing, and if people don't invest in near future they will have to spend more money on buying them if they wait too long. |

I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin?
If you are too unsatisfied with what you are hearing about altcoins turning up dead out of no where then it's better to buy Bitcoin only and leave the rest but we do have very good altcoins in top ten or top twenty on coinmarketcap, you need to do some research is all, NEO, Cosmos Chainlink Tron etc are good too altcoins |

When the real bulls come in town, you are pretty much safe holding any top 25 alts imo, but right now there are some standouts in the infrastructure space. Chainlink, ETH, Cardano, Polkadot etc. presents quite an attractive investing opportunity as their constant development and growth of their community is getting rightly more and more recognized. That being said, everyone here has their favorite "wild cards" as well, mine are RSR, 2key, 0chain, LTO etc.

You can read the forum for another 2 weeks to finally find posts where high-quality altcoins are discussed, or follow the mainstream path and buy eth/riple/xvg/ada if you have such big problems with open source coin-checking.
As for dead coins, you can even find an opinion on this forum that btc is already dead/dying. Do not trust everything at all, even if you are reading a narrowly-themed forum.

Yes, because everyone has their own thoughts in making posts, so we also can't immediately believe the posts they make, so I totally agree that someone should take the time to research the truth of the potential of all Altcoins apart from Bitcoin. That's always the way investors do it! Investing in something is not simply looking at other words and follow them. Of course, each person will have each different judgment about a particular project, some believe some don't. Therefore, those posts like this is a good way for us to know which coins to consider. Though, we still have to do our own researches to decide which coins to invest. |

I won't say that all altcoins in cryptocurrency market are useless, there are many altcoins in market which has good potential and use cases but it won't be a wise idea to invest in them without proper research because there are many good altcoins and choosing few of them for investment can be confusion decision but there are few points you should always look in an altcoin before investing in like the use case, exchange listing, volume, the team etc.

that is how it has been, because many project are coming to existence day by day without having what it takes to stand, with these their will be dead and sheet coin. So as regards to question worthy altcoin to invest, sighs its 50/50 so sometimes its always advice for one to invest in top 5 altcoin in exchange, but this should be done after your own analysis to be on the safer side.
that from my view. but its not the best, stand to be corrected.

For me if I'm gonna invest without doing any research, I'm gonna invest in ethereum and binance. Finding gems are hard without digging deep, finding low cap projects that are good are really hard to find.

Your advice is one of my favorites. I've seen people post same thought like mine, but I will repeat. Waves coin is the best example to describe your situation. Once this altcoin was in top10 and cost more than $3. After its founder sold most of his coins, Waves price began to go down and not its price is less than $2 and altcoin is in #58. I will repeat again and again - buy any altcoin, but after a proper research. Even top5 coin's price can go down and something from top2000 can burst in high position. Ranking place is nothing, idea+team is what worth buying. |

Those coins are not only the best choices but we have another good coin like oikos, compound and many more. We must realize if the top coins are not everything right now. That means if we have another coin with good potential and why not? |
