I got 9 of 10 outcomes correctly this round on Superbru. Didn't had such successful round for a long time. And guess what, it wasn't even enough to get yellow cap. Well, I had just one exact prediction.
But almost everything in this round was so predictable. Only Torino win against Udinese was something unexpected.
Anyway, I don't have many things to play for this season. I'm not going to finish last and I don't pretend to get into prize money. So, now I'm just playing for fun .

Belated congratulations to you then. Don't feel so down, my friend, I'm not in the running for anything in any of the pools I'm in this season either (FOUR pools). All that entrance fee gone making me feel a tad bad although one yellow cap in the EPL at least covered back one entry fee ha!

Let's all who are still playing for fun go a bit crazy for bragging rights eh?

17 matches in a row without a draw, we had 5 in round 29, since then a drought. Don't get me wrong, i'm not high on draws but i do occasionally like to place a few here and there...so how do i cap tomorrow's matches? Draws or no draws, when does the streak end?

Cagliari v Parma match though, 7 goals with Cagliari making an epic comeback in stoppage time.

Fair warning I have a couple of BTTS games from Italy on my ticket today and one of them is Atalanta-Juve match. Atalanta is top of my blacklist and still I have put it on the ticket. Meaning there is about 99% this games ends 0:0 or somebody clinches 1:0 win in last minutes of the match. Sorry guys for ruining what would otherwise be 4:2 win for Atalanta

Past few weeks experimenting with doing 2/3 legs BTTS and then throw the winnings at really poor choices as I come out with zero end of the day...

Atalanta not top of my blacklist but fairly close. Lazio is actually the one ruining it for me the most, that's totally my own fault of course. Idiot me thinks they are still the same team from last season. And I actually have them on my ticket today. Cause I don't learn lessons.

Given my run when betting on Atalanta it is quite probable yes. You just forgot to cover Juve winning 1:0 as well. Maybe your best would be to play 1 max one goal in the match

Dammit man... it was 7/1 on 0-0 and I didn't even get in time to put 1-0 live. This could have been a nice fat win for me, but ended up losing even though Atalanta nicked it in. Live betting is just so hard on my connection but to be fair markets are always closing to close to the game.

Most annoying match of the day for me so far, Lazio winning was pointless too as others fked me up (Arsenal).

Told you. It was a given, every single time I placed a bet or watched Atalanta it was a game with maximum of 1 goal in it. It feels like it was about 10 times this season which is absolutely incredible. I am not sure for all games but I remember those that hurt me most: Juve, Real, Ajax, Napoli, Genoa, Calgari.... Screw them, not gonna touch them this season any more. They are so far up on my blacklist that other teams almost don't matter.

Every time I just check the result they win with some crazy goal line like 4:2

Since this thread serves other purposes, such as bashing on Atalanta, these jerks had no business losing points today, they should've scored 3 or 4 before halftime, Muriel missed a three-foot sitter in the second, he probably misses one in a thousand on a bad day, then a red card and a goal from the logo (if i can use an NBA term). We should form an Atalanta hate club or something, who's with me?

It was about time for me to earn one yellow cap. My goal in all pools is to keep in touch with leaders and then leapfrog them in last few games. Of course it never works, but maybe this time...

Since we Liverpool also have something against Atalanta (making it up as I go) sure why not? Might even form a sister hate club for Napoli. Lazio I can be my one member club it's ok. My fault for backing them often and ignoring yhe fact that they are not of the same vintage as last season.

Verona's defense has been abysmal these last few fixtures, and with Inter coming off two straight draws, it might be a long Sunday afternoon in Milan. Also, Verona has zero wins at San Siro against Inter (historically speaking)...if i were you, i'd mark that match off my list of possible upsets for tomorrow.

As for Juventus, unlikely, can't see it happening, but i'm hoping for goals, Fiorentina's last three home matches have produced 5 or more goals, so i'm tempted to go for O3.5...we'll see.

Weird seeing Sassuolo keep a clean sheet, Samp hit the post once and were not given a penalty in the second half, this one should have also been btts.

Right then, I've made up my mind, thanks boys. Inter 2 straight draws I agree, they'll want to change things up and get off the marks quick, so a HT win is what I'll do with them.

Juventus on the other hand just look so lost I think Fiorentina will fancy their chances. Odds weren't TOO bad either, so I finally took it at 6.6. I'm definitely staying off BTTS today, even though so tempting haha. All the leagues are finding it hard to score now!

In first part of season they looked like Scudetto contenders and now it's likely that they can end without spot in Champions league next season. They loose toalmost every direct competitor recently.

It's difficult to pinpoint a single reason for their recent mediocre results, things are, imo, very complex.

The campaign began well for them as you noted, with just one loss in their first 25-30 matches iirc, possibly the best performing team in all of Europe, and it just wasn't possible to keep up until the end, it was unsustainable as simple as that.

The tight schedule (including their Europa League rendezvous) and multiple injuries in defense primarily resulted in rather unwanted draws against weaker opponents. And, although they have a reasonable amount of players to choose upfront, Pioli is forced to play with Kalulu and Tomori (neither of them has a place in this team) if Kjaer and Romagnoli are not available. I'll use Liverpool as an example: when your key guys (centre-backs) are absent, things get really difficult.

Milan will almost certainly not qualify for the Champions League, Atalanta and Napoli have relatively easy remaining fixtures, and the final spot will probably go to Juventus, who have a direct match with Milan next week.

I am not following Serie A that close but when I look at the squads Milan has mediocre squad when compered to top clubs in Italy. Juve, Inter, Atalanta and Napoli have better teams. Lazio and Roma are on the level of Milan so I would expect Milan to finish around 6th place.

I don't know, whether this is a related issue about Ibra or not because even before when Ibra was out of action due to injury but the truth is Milan can still be consistent in getting points to win and / or draw. But after Ibra's case went up, Milan seemed unable to be consistent anymore and everything seemed chaotic in the team or just happened by chance because it seemed like Milan still needed longer time to finally rise like Inter or at least fill the UCL position.

Since we are coming close to the end of our pool. I checked our yellow cap winners. The man to beat at the moment is tyKiwanuka with monster 24 points. He also had a couple more big points yellow hats so I am not sure how he is not ranked a lot better in our pool. I guess it is all or nothing for our yellow cap champ.

Thanks for Milan analysis, folks. As I already said, my knowledge about Serie A isn't deep enough, but I also got impression that Miland squad depth and quality isn't good enough to compete with Inter, Juventus and even Atlanta or Napoli. Injuries didn't helped them too.
@Trofo, wow, it's nice numbers. I didn't knew that there is extra prize for yellow cap winner, but unfortunately it's mission impossible to reach tyKiwanuka - 24 points per round is something extraordinary. I'm already waiting for next season and despite that Serie A isn't my league, I'm definitely going to join prediction pool next season. Also, I hope that you or hilarious will make pool for EURO 2020. I just realised that we have Copa America this year also - maybe it can be interesting too.
