Well, Barcelona players were much better than Atletico players during international duty. Although, Messi and Griezmann didn't score a goal but both were at their razor sharp. Especially, Griezmann, who was the best French player (probably best Nations League player) of this break. When every other team is losing its player, good news for Barca is that Coutinho is back. Can't tell how much I am waiting to see fit and firing Messi, Griezmann, Coutinho and Dembele - all playing together in single attack!

5-1 isn't that difficult to imagine, especially when Messi's open-play goal curse has finally ended against Real Betis.

This matchday is going to be very interesting. Especially, Cadiz vs Real Sociedad match. For me, it is the game of the week.

First place team vs most-exciting promoted side! Best game for me any day, especially, when I am favoring upset in the game.

When I find Barcelona and Bayern Munich at such odds, I mostly tend to overlook their form in as much as they are not playing a team of the same caliber (If you get what I mean by that) and just go for the odds value, but as fan I wouldn't want to double my potential heartbreak, I might only add them to some random parlay off the same nature (Like City against Spurs, and Arsenal vs Leeds).

As for tonight in the pool, I'm ridding with a very narrow win for Osasuna.

Well, looks like Zidane will play with a weakened squad tomorrow given how many injured he has in the squad: Ramos (2 weeks or more), Casemiro, Benzema, Valverde, Jovic, Militao...big change of seeing Isco in the starting XI tomorrow, meaning that Villareal will play against 10 men, plus Varane and Nacho as CB duo? and Mariano as our main striker? oof! Hazard needs to to show up tomorrow

Too bad for me, I'm starting the week off with zero points, Osasuna had to fight from behind to secure a point, even though they were arguably the better side overall, I felt i could have been an entirely different game, if they hadn't gone behind that early into the game.

Yeah I think I get what you mean. Even when not at full strength, or not in form, you generally have different mentalities when it comes to teams who have experience winning. I know that very well just seeing Liverpool my own team. Once you win something, you get a different steel and confidence, and maturity (which a lot is needed to win things).

Got 1.5 points for picking a 2-2 draw from Osasuna game, nil for Villareal win and currently need Sevilla to score to get 1 point hahahahahaha.

Valencia is biggest mistery for me this season. Every time when I predict their win, they lose game or play draw. When I expect them to lose, opposite thing happens. I already said that they can beat Real, but on the next round lose against Huesca. While Alaves surprised me a bit so far, I expected to see them near the relegation zone before the season.
Bad round for me, just 5 points for me, while @tokeweed just nailing it with 14 points. At least I was able to make little profit in betting this weekend.

It was clear even the 3 seasons in a row that we lost in Champions League to crazy games. I still have bad nightmares about it.

I don't know if Real will stay on top, and not just saying this because they are our arch nemesis, but Zidane has a knack for getting things done so never count them (or us) out.

Learn to not bet on Valencia this season. They are the worst performers of La Liga, but can't really blame them after the exits of talent. Very very meh round for me. Still in 12th place:(

I don't think it's any coincidence that they're top of the table now though (and yes I know Atletico will probably overtake them with the games in hand) -- they have been averaging out their dominance in games even in Europa League. But this type of victory means they won't last the season, 1-0 games after dominating like that can take a toll on mentality down the line (unless you're Leicester and were expected to relegate haha).

I was talking about them betting wise;) Somewhat reminiscent of Liverpool's past two seasons before this. Dominating like hell, and then scoring 50% of their comeback wins in the last 10 minutes. Exciting in a way, but not healthy for a fan!

I think I lost many bets and parlays on Sociedad winning at HT. They do end up winning but not until it's late.

Wolves as you say have the same result but they prefer to hit back later on when opponents are tired, and then Adama just destroys them all.

Toke is definitely on "enhancements".

anyone else thinks there's value in Barcelona 'Win to Nil - No' @1.60 odds? no Pique, no S.Roberto, weak defence, barely any clean sheets this season even when Pique was fit. I predicted a 4-1 Barca win...a battle between mid-table teams can guarantee goals from both sides, no?

I am actually tipping on draws and getting the hell out of the house. Today is the last day before more covid measures hit my place so I am using the opportunity for playing some football with friends and getting couple of bears before lock down.

Anybody watching Real Madrid? Just saw they are loosing 2:0, at home, against Alaves  This is a golden opportunity for a team like Sevilla, Villareal or even Real Sociedad to take La Liga. I don't remember when both Real and Barca were this bad and Atletico Madrid is nothing special as well. I am hoping for surprise champion this season.
