I think this list will help those who are really interested on defi projects. Cmc is good job for putting up a list where users will be able to compare those with potential to trade with and invest. Usually traders will check this data one by one to see which defi has potential to increase its base market price. Now it will become an easy task.

I think its because they added the token trading few days ago. Maybe it will reflect on a later date. This token also have potential and they will launch their staking protocol soon. I like to buy however the price is too high already compared to presale value.

I just CMC will be strict on listing defi projects here and scrutinized well those who are just trying hard to be defi due to hype.

It's easy to spot fake DeFi projects, stay away if the DeFi project is not popular and well established, stay away or do deep diggings if the DeFi projects is brand new, also track the domain of the DeFi project website and see the day it was registered, if it's a month ago just be more careful, might be from scammers

I actually really hate all these socalled DeFi tokens and companies. Think about it right? If it is really decentralized then why are they all running on centralized platforms with centralized teams who are not even transparent about everything? Smart contracts, the assets, etc. They are so centralized in my mind:)

Easier said than done, how many newbies are doing such things? Investigate the domains and such? And hackers are creating very similar sites that you can't distinguished on the first look and you are really gonna fall for the trap. DeFi will definitely be a thing in the future. Just like some ICO projects still exist and are successful. But people should be careful when investing, especially in staking coins. There are some that promise to bring high percentage which is unsustainable in the long run. Result will be that project fails or it's price never goes up because of high inflation (due to a lot of new coins generated from staking).

Chainlink is a DeFi project? This I didn´t know, I thought that it is mainly focused on Oracles and interconnecting the blockchain with the real world. It is a good addition to cmc as defi is the new hype in the market at the moment and addition of specifically defi section in the cmc will add fuel to the flame.
There are some hybrid kind of crypto banking, wallet, exchange and lending kind of projects which can fall in defi category but somehow they are not considered defi may be because they are not completely blockchain based so i think in future they should also consider adding crypto finance category that include all type of finance related projects both centralized and decentralized.

I observed most of the defi projects are running on ethereum network, it will be affected if ethereum network is clogged like now, we have a minimum of 100 gwei for a fast transaction which cost a lot for token transactions I guess it will cost morethan $1 or more. To get enlisted in coinmarketcap.com there loads of criterias that needs to be satisfied before they get to consider before you scale through, whether it be an exchanger or a project. I think defi moves the market cap a lot. If you noticed in the past few months, defi is the sole contributor to the total market capitalization, also add the eth 2.0 news and eventually bitcoin followed. It proves that defi are technically working good in terms of price and use case. Even bitcoin go down, the altcoin will still continue to dominate the market. But I doubt we can see a huge retracement at the moment. Most of people already familiar with defi project even they investing on IEOs run by Defi projects. Cause  Most of defi project showed brilliant success on their IEOs. For example recent defi project oikos got successful with so much fund raised. Besides dia data, terra credit etc are also in the list of success because of they are belong to defi project

Your research is like mine. These DeFi projects are also my favorite. I didn't miss any of these projects. Most of the promising project is DIA data but I missed. Oikos is also a good project but they didn't treat the bounty hunters well. I'm very excited to see the Terra credit future. I'm short time Terracredit project has a good allocation.

I didn't know chainlink was a defi, I thought it was something like a regular coin, didn't really checked it before so I had no idea what it was but I really didn't know it had defi stuff in it at all.

There are so many coins which has very very low volume and liquidity to trade, the blockchain and whatever could be used, the system could be used, but the coin itself has very low volume and liquidity, which means they are worth a lot but it is all but a fake, if enough people had it, they would all sell and make it go down but since only a certain number has it they are not selling and holding and making it look like it worths something. Things are not healthy anymore because it looks like the bitcoin and ETH holders are lured to dive into these DEFI projects inorder for them to send it to these high performing DEFI tokens such as the Y ones. For the weak holders who want to take a bite of the profitting bullrun of the tokens, they will use their BTC and ETH to buy YFI tokens which in the end losing their BTC.

It's just how they define tokens to be DeFi though, And do you think it's a complete list or something is missing? I think this is great though, specially for those who are not familiar with this new hype is crypto market, so good job CZ (although sometimes I think he is becoming too powerful!).

Now they have also started a new section where they are listing the projects based on liquidity that can help yield farmers to look at different programs and decide which program suits them the most.

Coinmarketcap only gives an overview of DEFI. Coingecko they do better with more tags so that users can follow it easier to find it scientifically and quickly.

There is no doubt, Nowadays "Defi project" means a hit project. There are lots of defi project ,who already prove their ability, impressed people with their unique idea. But be careful about those scammer, using defi's name to fruad people

Yes i received three new defi project in this year and there had great success marketcap. I would like suggest defi community don't accept shitcoin because lots of investors believe defi community. Really impress full day by day increase defi lovers.

I also have brought some defi tokens a months ago and glad go say that, those are proved profitable for me. Although some defi tokens haven't performed well but i found most of them could be good choice for investors. I am again going to buy some more defi tokens that have strength enough to makes me profitable again.

right after the dump of DIA it immediately go up after a day. a defi project seemingly not a good when it dropped from $4 to $1 now had come back to life making it attractive again. the distribution of bounty hunters i think is over and its time to jump right in for day trading. UNI still is providing a good chance to profit.

An investor with money to pour in these defi project will sure to have more money after months of just holding.

Defi is profitable until it couldn't sustain itself but it's true that some of these defi project are a really good project but the rest might be just mediocre.
Personally if some people trying to provide liquidity they should calculate the potential ROI as well as calculating the fluctuation of a coin since of the coins get dumped it doesn't matter how much you generate from providing liqudity because the ROI will be crushed.

That deep drop may look chaotic, but I think DIA is a pretty good project, with an update in its product that can definitely revive the market again.
Well, the distribution for the bounty campaign is divided into several periods, this is a pretty good strategy to avoid deeper dumps and indirectly most of them choose to hold because of DIA enough potential.
