That would be possible as long as Bitcoin will remain bullish.
Devs knows what they are doing, they delayed the launch of ETH 2.0 and I think it's schedule for this year, so I can say that they are smart as they are looking to launch it at the right timing and when the market is bullish, that is the right timing.

I can't say that ETH will reach $1,000 if bitcoin will not reach $15k to $20k, or at least make a new ATH, simply because bitcoin always dictate through its market dominance.

The crypto market is making a comeback and the price of Ethereum has been increasing rapidly over the past few months. Today the coin has reached $4xx and it is certain that in the next few weeks it may soon reach $500 or more. This to me is still not up to my expectation it is an understatement. The launch of Etherum 2.0 is this year and by virtue of that, ETH should have more than doubled the price it is now, if not x3. So i am looking at nothing less than a thousand dollar, even of BTC does not pump much and that is even if the bull run does not start.

There isn't much reason, other than the ethereum 2.0 that is about to the launched. I guess the testnet is out already as people have started testing it. By the time the main update is out, many may not believe their eyes, because there will be a great flight. The ground is currently being prepared.
