Manipulation of price will decrease soon?

Growing in market cap doesn't necessarily means manipulation of price will decrease soon, like for example the recent elon musk who people consider as the saviour of modern world making a fuss regarding crypto, as much as I'm happy enough that elon really bring the price of bitcoin up, I must say that these kind of things look kinda like manipulation.
If by some tweet from a rich influental people alone could decide whether the market gonna be bearish or bullrun the crypto market as a whole isn't really manipulation free doesn't matter how much the market cap has been growing since the manipulator doesn't target the market cap and using their resource to manipulate it but the manipulator affect psychology of the people to make them behave as they like.

Elon musk we can consider him as one of the whales am I right. Those whales were the one's behind the manipulations. As I expected some of the big/small investors was waiting for the price roll back.

But I don't think that there is some bad news that could affect the price go down. The popularity of the rumored richest man on earth Elon musk, would still stand against in any bad news.

Yeah, It can be more often to happens especially when many rich people come and join the crypto community. It sounds like we don't see a decrease in manipulation but instead, we saw it more. But above all, there is one thing I have to worried about, and what if these people will control the market and let everything handful to them. That could be the worse thing ever.

I doesn't mind when people like Elon influence the price, they are public figure and everyone sees that. Manipulating the price from the shade is what I don't like and I really believe that with more money in crypto that would be harder to do since it would need more money to do so.

As the days go, we see the mcap is increasing. When it will increase more, what do you think, will the price manipulation be decreased?

We can't say that the price "manipulation" will be gone soon, but yeah, the more people use bitcoin, the less it will be manipulated. This is because eventually all the coins will be spread among people, hence lower chance of manipulating since the number of "whales" also starts to increase. I guess as more whales enter the market, the risk of manipulation increases, hence discouraging manipulators (because whales will be able to easily take advantage of manipulators).

If we look at the Tesla announcement, it didn’t create huge changes.

We can't say the manipulation decreased when Elon Musk can manipulate the market by simply adding the word Bitcoin into his Twitter Bio, is this new form of manipulation which doesn't need money just need the power?

I don't think so, the price went so amazing right now and everybody really wanted to dig in on cryptocurrency. In fact many friends of mine wanted to know everything in digital currency, but I don't bother sharing them the entire story of it. They don't know how bloody when it comes to manipulation, so I must take it personally and move on then enjoy how crypto market will be pushed through the waves.

I don't know why you don't bother sharing about crypto to your friends because from what I can understand although manipulation exists in the market and will exist as long as the market itself exists, there is not as much manipulation in the Bitcoin market and imagine Bitcoins being held by rich guys like Michael Saylor and richest guy Elon musk so it ain't that easy to manipulate the market now days.

Also do you think manipulation does not happen in stock market? It does happen there too and more than what one might imagine. Have you recently seen the news about the GameStop short squeeze? It was all about the market manipulation only.

Price manipulation will always be there, it will not just go away.

Bitcoin's price is based on demand and supply, and with a lot of people holding a huge chunk out of that supply, there will always be manipulation. That is why a lot of people are getting scared of what these corporations will do with their huge investments in bitcoin as it can affect the price hugely in the near future. Although we know that they can't manipulate it fully and there are a lot of people that would take that dump as an opportunity.

It may be there at all times but it could be too much or very little depending on situations. Maybe bitcoin manipulation is all time high right now and companies are making news about how bitcoin is awesome and buying bitcoins right now all because they are getting ready for crashing it and making money that way?

They would be making money by the fact that if you say "x company bought 1 billion dollars of bitcoin" the price will not only go up from their purchase but others will flock to bitcoin and buy a lot just because that company bought bitcoin as well.

At the end of the day they are pumping it with their money and also with help of media. They are making money just from that and that is the easy part, if we put into shorting futures into play we could have rich companies making even more money from crashing the price. Long story short is it really at a dangerous manipulation level or not? We do not know but there is always a possibility. We just need "little" manipulation if there needs to be one.
