Oh man if CleanWaterCoin hits Mintpal now with the abomination that the network is suffering things are going to get even worse for the coin.  People will see it on Mintpal and look for pools to mine. When they dont work its only going to tarnish the name even more. People will want the wallet and when coins dont show up people will get mad.

Well let's hope the wallet and pool are fixed as promised before we get listed then!

I'm on the fence of setting up a pool just for this coin, would anyone want to mine on it? We need more than one pool so it isn't an 80% takeover when the official pool comes back haha.

We've been in communication with some of the other pools and a couple of them will be back up as soon as we are -- as to avoid any takeover. That being said, you are welcome to setup a pool, just send us the link in a PM if/when you get it setup.

Once our pool and the others are ready, we will update the ANN so anyone who wishes to mine will have an updated list of pools to chose from.

Thanks for the updates. Although I can make a pool work, I lack the experience of fixing a pool when things go wrong. So I would prefer to let experience pool ops handle it if possible. But if they don't want to bring the coin back or if they want to wait a while to see things stabilize, then I will temporarily run one when the new wallet hits.

We need to test the wallet first before setup pool.   If not people will remember all the suffer they've been through with this coin and waste their time and lost coin while mining again.   Thanks

blackvoice posted wallet version still the same.  Could not sent amount greater than 10000 water (most the times get error, the old wallet version sometime get through).

The new wallet will be tested when they awake.
The problem of transaction and syncing will be fixed.

Have they woken up yet?

It is now well past "later this evening or first thing in the AM" - why is the official pool still offline?

It's not that complicated, not if you know the difference between * and / anyway. It has been over 2 weeks since everything went to shit which is plenty of time to fix and test a new wallet.

I think we have a right to an update from Zach et al, especially when the official pool was promised to be up and running by the night before last, or at the latest yesterday morning, and it is still not going.

I would have hoped that the devs had learnt by now that communication is key, why post that something is going to be done if you're not 100% sure that it will be? You just convince more people that it's not worth sticking around. I am an IPO investor and have been here since day one waiting patiently for things to be sorted but many will not be as patient. **sigh**

Amen, brother, that last paragraph explains my thoughts and position exactly. We have heard about progress, now is time to actually see it. If Mintpal inclusion actually happens soon and major problems are still not sorted out, then it is lights out.

Maybe they are planning something huge and they are just solo mining a bunch of coins. I would think this coin should switch to x11.

There are no coins with x11 and proof of stake yet so this might be what they are working on secretly.

SInce this coin is a charity it seems bad to use scrypt and waste all that energy.

If it is for charity, it is not a waste? All depends on how you look at it really.

Looking for updates, been mining with just a little hash rate, and nobody in the irc channel is alive.  Was thinking a few might want to mine a few more coins while it is easy.

Pool:
The pool has been up since last night. We are just testing a few minor things before we turn on the crons.

Wallets:
Wallets are completely tested, and the TX issue is no longer occurring (after 5 straight days of pushing it around). We will be compiling and updating the ANN tonight or first thing in the morning.
