What do you miss in block explorers

API aren't lightweight website and not all browser render JSON (which returned by API) beautifully.

Sure but it literally loads faster on all browsers tho, simply because it's only text based without all the fluff. And I wasn't specifically talking about JSON and APIs; just the page being purely text-based in general. A web page can be purely text-based without it being in a JSON format.

anything you miss in current block explorers

There could be one "to bind them all":
1. with nicely formatted transaction info like Bitcoin.info (yes, the older version, which had simple or advanced view, which had the price now and at transaction time.. and which had graphical view/explorer to track the source of the money)
2. with automatic "refresh" of the confirmation count so one doesn't have to keep refreshing
3. with proper fee graphics and estimators like https://btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx (with better granularity and more reliable), maybe with the charts like https://jochen-hoenicke.de/ instead of the very last "Mempool Size K Line"
4. with something similar to mempool.space for even better understanding


But it's not nice to blatantly copy others' designs/ideas, so it won't be easy to do all this.
