PSG themselves realize that their team has obvious weaknesses in some positions and if they don't overcome these weaknesses they will never win the local league. Maybe they would have been better off if PSG had recruited some players after Mbappe left.

Maybe this is just me, and I could be very wrong here, but I never believed De Zerbi was a good coach. I didn't like his tenure at Brighton at all, he never looked like he was good enough coach to bring out the best on younger players, and he had bad averages there as well. He never broke over 1.80 in any of the teams he managed aside from Shaktar, and that should be telling something about what he is capable of doing.

Right now, he looks good with Marseille, but that's a team that should be second place or worst case third place anyways, when you are given a great team getting the results isn't shocking. He doesn't look that amazing to me, he is just doing what the team should be doing anyways, hence the results do not look that crazy to me at all.

I believe Marseille spent way too much money to build this team, and  they could have just spent a lot of money to find their own great coach as well. Look at Atletico Madrid, they know they are not as good as Real or Barcelona, but they found Simeone and they are doing something good with him for over a decade now, Marseille knows they are not as good as PSG, so they should find someone decent which can stay top three every year while doing fine at UCL as well.

I do not think so. I can see why people may think that way, but I believe PSG is a much much better team, more than what the gap between them shows. Sure, they have only three points difference in the league so it looks like they are close level teams, but I also believe they are doing much worse and PSG is much better. I said it one of my posts that PSG haven't got the stuff it takes to survive in the champions league, they they're only good in the domestic league. Hey, no need to defend them that they don't have a good finisher else the game would have been in their favor because how then do they net the goals they do in the Ligue 1? I don't think they lack experienced strikers, because they are quite good at scoring goals in Ligue 1, but it is the big pressure of the Champions League. I think they are not well controlled so the mentality of scoring goals is not there. Unfortunately, I don't think it is just the pressure that cannot be achieved. They handle it well, you can see that they only scored 2 goals in the Champions League and scored 25 goals in Ligue 1. It is clear that they cannot handle the pressure of the Champions League well at all so failure comes to them.

I admit that PSG does not lack experienced attackers but it seems that this only applies to league 1. As we have seen several PSG performances since the start of this UCL match, PSG has had more difficulty in getting a bigger score. And all of that is indeed a bad impact from previously relying too much on 1 attacking player like Mbappe and now PSG must work together to rely on all players to create a strong performance but still looks weak. Enrique must be careful if he wants to continue the PSG squad to survive in the current UCL, at least he must look more stable even though he has difficulty scoring but continuing to try to get a draw will be a better result than having to lose points.
