Having suffered 2 consecutive defeats, the gap with PSG has widened and is now 6 points. I have lost a little hope about other clubs breaking PSG's dominance because I think Monaco or Marseille can do it this season, but it seems that these clubs are only strong at the beginning of the season just like PSG's challengers last season were only strong at the beginning of the season. For the next I don't expect much and at the moment their performance is a bit unstable it seems that fatigue is starting to affect their main players.

Yes, there is a lot of confidence for the 2024/25 Ligue 1 season to be rich in competition with Monaco and Marseille together to confront PSG without Mbappe. But PSG did not need much effort to reaffirm their position as the top team in France. Compared to competitors like AS Monaco and Marseille, the PSG club excels both in terms of a strong attack and a reliable defense, creating a well-rounded squad that is very difficult to beat in the tournament. Just waiting for PSG to stumble to take the lead is not enough for a Ligue 1 title overthrow. They need to be stable to be able to go a long way to compete for the championship with PSG.
If the current situation continues like this, I do not doubt that PSG will continue to win the championship before the end of the season.

Paris Saint Germaine this season haven't been convincing with their performances if we must tell ourselves the truth but the good news for them is that at the moment, there's no other French team that's capable challenging them for the league title and that's not a good thing for the French league which is the lowest ranked among the top five leagues in Europe

About the match between PSG v Lens, I personally am not fixated on PSG's big wins in the previous few matches. Although PSG plays at home but it is also still not a guarantee for PSG to be able to win with a big score. Although indeed, the fact that with PSG's quick goal at the beginning of the first half it allowed PSG to make other goals throughout the match.  But anyway,  in reality PSG failed to win with a big score, because basically so far this season Lens is also considered to be one of the teams that has a strong defense line. Thus, it is not surprising that Lens managed to withstand PSG's attacks and only suffered a small defeat at the Parc des Princes.

When you are PSG and got a goal at 4th minute, and then you do not score a single more game all match long, that feels like a tie to many fans, because by the end, with added minutes, that's 90+ minutes of game time where you did not score a single goal, that seems quite boring and should be very important as well. PSG is a much better team than this and they should be able to get some wins, I am not really seeing anything great from them.

Sure, they are leading the league right now, but that doesn't mean that they are doing great, we are talking about a team that is doing barely fine but only getting away with wins and leading the league because others suck, not because they are good. If PSG was good, they would have scored a second or even a third in that game. Indeed, a shocking performance from Rennes against a team I hardly pronounce their name. There are a lot of responsibilities from the angle of incompetent Stephen to the angle of players not up to standard and of course, to the irresponsible management who get rid of of about fourteen or thereabout players and recruit ten more unknown average players. They have succeeded turning their club to a training ground that lends and sells its youngsters players. Perhaps, a new couch can give Rennes a new and applaudable performance but truth be told even a new couch would suffer with this kind of recruitment. That's the result you get when you try to make money by selling your best performing players year in year out instead of maintaining them. You definitely end up being a mediocre team when you recruit average players.

Barcola is a player that nobody had written down so far. I think he is one the players who will not be in Ligue for long unless PSG pays him so much money that he can't leave the club. I see the statistics of the strength in the game of both team that show PSG is far superior and they have front line that is really sharp enough for match in the Ligue 1 competition, indeed in other competitions such as UCL they cannot play as expected but here they are team with very good front line that even from all Ligue 1 match shows large percentage of victory with large score too.
But I do admit that Lens has very good defense but they are weak in attack, all of this can be seen from the way Lens plays in each match and also Lens statistics in the number of goal they can get and also the number of goal conceded they receive, both show quite low numbers compared to several other team.

If you look at the depth of the squad, it is only natural that they have difficulty competing with PSG, the points difference that has been formed seems difficult to reduce. It takes a lot of luck to break PSG dominance in Ligue 1, a team that is ambitious to win a trophy must be able to appear unbeatable. In early rounds, we have good performance from the Monaco, but now things are letting them down from top in last three games we have one point for the Monaco and their defeat at home against relegation zone team Angers were shocking as well Marseille is also doing good but in last few games their quality is also coming down which is the biggest concern for them while we have PSG only undefeated team into league which is doing good job and having chance of staying at the top for long time, but they also have struggling time in Champions League as they are going to host Atlético Madrid and then going to visit Bayern Munich in next round.

It seems that your opinion is contrary to your previous bets. If indeed you predict the statistics of the two teams and say if the two teams have a small amount of conceding, shouldn't you choose under 3 or under 2.5 rather than select over 2.5 with the small odds that you add to the bet builder?
If you see from the statistics of the two teams, don't you know that the advantages of Lens are only in defense and not on the attack line?

Even though Marseille is actually the only team in League 1 that can win the UCL title in its heyday, it is very unfortunate that this club is inconsistent this season even though I think this club will return to its best version and become a challenger to PSG until the end of this season because they also recruited many players in the summer transfer market.
