I don't know how long Paris Saint-Germain's poor performance in the Champions League will last, but things are going their way in the French league. They are currently in the lead and will probably finish the season as champions. However, one thing we forget is that for Paris Saint-Germain, the French League championship is not a goal, it is a tradition. When they don't fulfill this tradition, it becomes a problem, just like Bayern Munich couldn't become champions last year. The real goal for them is the Champions League, but they are doing really badly there this year. They were defeated by Bayern Munich last. Now they only have three games left and they will want to make it to the playoffs at least after these three games.

Should I say not all clubs can perform very well in the Champions League, I thought I was the only one thinking about the PSG issue regarding this Champions League because all other teams showcase their strength that they are capable of winning the title. PSG have tried in the past to get a place in the Champions League to the extent of spending more money on players that have won it but still, it doesn't work out. They gather a lot of professionals to make it out, in the French league PSG happened to be the only team  to dominate the titles for the past seasons which they didn't have any competitor that would make it hard on them. This season they have secured a slot for themselves again for the title which I see no team can challenge them.

PSG still leads the standings with a 6-point advantage over Monaco, they have a great opportunity to increase their points advantage over their rivals because in the next match they will face Nantes who are currently in the Relegation Zone. Meanwhile, in another match, Monaco will play away to Marseille headquarters. PSG can take advantage of this match, if they win over Nantes and Monaco loses at Marseille headquarters, then they will be 9 points ahead. PSG dominance will continue in Ligue 1 despite their inconsistent performance in the UCL, other teams such as Monaco, Marseille and Lille are still unable to match the quality of the squad that PSG has.

I have no doubt that they will win the title this season, because they have all the advantages needed to be able to defend the title again. In Ligue 1 they are the only club that has all the needs that a club needs to be a champion and the most prominent is their financial side which can bring in many quality players to be in the squad. It's quite boring to see only them who can do that and it can't be denied that this is one of the things that makes the competition in Ligue 1 less interesting. I think many people agree with what I said about this.

League 1 is certainly dominated by PSG, it is a fact that we often see every season in the French League 1, therefore it is not strange for PSG to be at the top of the standings, that is the default for League One in my opinion.
It's not too boring, but unfortunately we can already guess who will get the trophy to take home, so there is nothing to wait for by other teams.

Of course it isn't an impossible work but a difficult one at the same time. Because there is an insane quality gap between PSG and the rest of the teams of the Ligue 1. It isn't that easy to compete PSG until the end. We see it once in many years in the league. Like your example of Lille's title a few years ago. It was a magical season for them as well. 

Now Monaco are trying to beat PSG. The gap is 6 points. Is it possible? In theory, yeah. But Monaco need to be very consistent and shouldn't lose points against PSG. In 3 weeks they will face each other so let's see...

If that happens, I think definitely not this season and maybe not even next season. Decade a go but since they built their strength to his level, they have been able to maintain it through this years except for a few times when they get to struggle around and lost the title to others in the French league. Mbappe wasn't and isn't the only good player PSG had a d that is why even after his exit, they are still doing well in their domestic league even without a perfect replacement.

It is just a matter of time but I still feel there will come a time when PSG will be outplayed in that competition and won’t get the chance to win anything in the league. They have dominated that league for a very long time now just like Bayern Munich did in the Bundesliga. It was a thing of shock when Bayern Leverkusen beat them home and away and even won the trophy few games to the end of the season. It is a replica of that I want to see happening in the coming seasons for the Ligue 1. The time of PSG is fast approaching and coming to an end already and when it does, a team we don’t expect to pull this though will do it and do it very perfect without any sense of doubt at that time. If that can happen to Bayern Munich, then I feel it can also happen to PSG when the right time comes.

The opening match in Ligue 1 was quite fun and entertaining. Because, it is a match between clubs that are already quite good. Even initially their points were quite close, but Lens managed to beat Reims, so that currently Lens is in the top 6 for the time being. Reims had higher chance to shots, but Lens could really optimize the shots as targeted to be goal, and they deserved for the win.

Enjoyed dominance, I don't know if that is the right wording. I know what you want to say here, but if you know the winner beforehand for almost every single game, I don't find that very enjoyable. Everyone who has been playing a sport in his life would probably agree that the real joy came from the hardest challenges when you know afterwards that you had to give your very best and it was still a dance on the razor blade. That was the most fun to me and that is why I think it is quite boring when you win a game 5-0 and you scored 2 or 3 goals. It is fun for a while, but time will come when emotions go away, that was at least the case for me personally. It's not enjoyable. That is why Ligue 1 needs at least one more team to level up their game with the help of money to make it an interesting league again.

In terms of the game, both teams actually played a fairly balanced game, only Lens was more creative in building attacks so that 1 goal was created in the first half and 1 goal in the second half.
