PSG will continue to remain the strongest team in the French Ligue as long as no other team is ready to spend more money to buy quality players to strengthen their squad like PSG. It is clear that the league trophy will continue to remain PSG's, as they will keep winning it as long as they don’t have serious competitors. When the season started, based on the way Monaco was playing, I thought they might become PSG's serious competition. However, recently, I can't say so. I don’t see any signs of them winning this season’s ongoing Ligue 1 competition.

As for PSG's poor performances in the Champions League, it may be due to the coaching. In my opinion, PSG should have won the Champions League with the set of quality players they had in past seasons. With Mbappe Neymar, and even later on Messi, they had enough quality attacking players. A better coach should have been able to win the Champions League with that lineup.

Although it doesn't make a big difference regarding the fight for the title, I think some of the teams will still be involved in the fight for the title of vice champion. I know it is not a real title, but then again we are talking Ligue 1 and this is one of the most boring leagues ever. There is no doubt that PSG will go straight for the title before the season even started, and whoever is interested in those other clubs behind them can now enjoy some good competition. Too bad that no team was able to beat PSG at least once this season so far.

Olympique Marseille is having a bit of a revival for now as they have finished the season 2023/2024 as 8th, which is definitely not what they should be aiming for as they are a club with a solid history. The late penalty against Monaco was a shocker, but they played well and in my opinion deserved to win this game with almost two thirds ball possession and being the more aggressive team.

PSG gave a small chance to other teams to get closer to them, but it didn't last long, and now they are ahead of Marseille and Monaco by 7 points, I think that the whole competition will end here, because PSG will not allow these teams to get closer again. Now Lille, Lyon and maybe Nice will fight for the Champions League zone, and PSG will almost certainly become champions, but in the Champions League their results are much worse.

PSG has been at the top of the points table since the beginning of the season and PSG will secure the France League title from the top of the points table until the end of the season but they will lose points in some matches in between. Although I bet on PSG in local league matches, I don't bet on PSG in the Champions League or any other competition. I regularly bet for PSG when the best strikers played together in PSG but PSG didn't make me happy at least that time as they got beaten regularly despite having such a good attacking line. I only bet on PSG in France league matches where PSG has a high chance of winning but I always refrain from betting on matches that I have doubts about.

Lens came close to winning the French League in the 2022/2023 season but the lost it by just one point. Since then PSG has been enjoying its dominance and no club is putting up a strong opposition. It will take a club with good finance or well-disciplined team like Leicester (in the 2015–16 season) to end this long-term dominance of Les Parisiens. The Ligue one is indeed boring but everything that has a beginning also has an end an example is the current travails of Manchester City.

PSG's failure to win the Champions League might be an indication that they are not really a powerful side but they don't have a strong competition in the French League. I don't think it is the failure of coaches because some managers who left the club won the UCL with other clubs.  Carlo Ancelotti and Thomas Tuchel are examples. I totally agree with you. PSG are having a nice time in the Ligue 1 and winning the trophy every season ha become something normal to them as their are no teams that are so tough and can compete with them to the fullest for the league title. Maybe in the future, when other teams in the French league can buy a lot of quality players that can compete well with PSG, they’ll get a chance to win and deny them of the Ligue 1 title.

The champions league competition has clearly shown that PSG are not really the best team in Europe. When they meet other teams that are not the best in their league in the champions league, it becomes very hard for them to win those matches, that’s to say they’re really finding the league games more easier with low level teams that can’t really compete with them for the league title.

Marseille's victory made their position rise to 2nd place temporarily and have the same number of points as Monaco but interestingly not only that even the number of wins, draws and losses are also the same indicating that their performance is almost equal I think this will be a fierce competition to fight for second place this season, it is impossible to win the title and break PSG's dominance even though the current point difference is not too far but so far PSG is still consistent but Monaco and Marseille are likely to only be able to fight for a position below PSG let's see how far they will survive this season because changes can still happen.

As many forum members here say, if you want to win in betting in Ligue 1 of course favoring PSG is the right step, but if you want to get a disappointment in the UCL then bet on PSG .

The champions league competition has clearly shown that PSG are not really the best team in Europe. We can only hope that in the future there will be a team that can be a strong rival for PSG in the competition for the Ligue 1 trophy. This match was very important in their race for second place in the league. Monaco's decline is still continuing. They managed to climb to the top of the French League for a while, but they have not been able to show a similar performance since then. It will probably be a season-end in which Paris Saint-Germain will be the leader, but this defeat will hurt them greatly in the race for second place. Marseille, on the other hand, can win the upcoming matches with this morale and have an advantage in the race for second place in the league.
