Monaco tried their best but their best was not good enough as they could not hold on to the pressure of PSG as they conceded a late goal to lose to today's game this is football and there are only three options which is either you win , draw or lose monaco was good in their performance but going to the front they lack the finishing touch the league is stii far from finishing so there is still plenty of games for monaco to correct their errors going forward

Before the goal in the last minute of the match, Monaco had actually lost when the goal was scored in the 83rd minute so the defeat was indeed reasonable because in the last minutes of the match Monaco could not withstand the attack from PSG. And currently Monaco is in third place in the Ligue 1 standings and is ten points away from PSG, but on the other hand I also hope Marseille can slowly approach PSG's points in the second half of the season so that Ligue 1 will be more competitive until the end of the season.

This was actually a land slide victory from them, a quite impressive one, I didn't expect any less from them actually and they didn't fail to prove themselves.  The challenge they have somehow is actually with them been able to have that consistency,  if marsielle is able improve on their consistency,  they are going to have a very good probable chance at contending the league title,  moreover they have a relatively fair productive team after PSG in the ligue 1 this season and so they are actually making good progress so far so it's definitely going to be one that they can build the needed momentum if they put I the work going further.

It was Marseille's only missing game at the same time and this big win carried them to the 2nd position in the standings.    They have a good form recently as well without a loss for weeks but it is still not good enough to keep up with PSG of course. The gap between is 7 points currently. I don't want to be very optimistic honestly because clearly PSG won't let anyone else to make it to the championship. But I'm always ready to be surprised...

Marseille are the second most scorer team in the league this season by the way. De Zerbi football is really lovely to watch. If they finish the season in top 3, it would be enough to achieve their targets. Their last season result was really bad you know as they finished at the 8th position.

Actually I don't think the match will end in a draw because the king of league 1 will still take the opportunity and will not give the title to another team.
I admit that the appearance of both teams in the final match was very interesting but actually it would be more impressive if the title was won by Monaco which could be a prestigious title for Monaco. But no matter what, PSG performance cannot be defeated by any team in league 1 and no matter how good the performance of all the teams in league 1 is, no one will be able to beat PSG to win the title.

We can't compare both teams from how they performed and looking at the standing the comparison is not suppose to be. Speaking about the point gap between PSG and Marseille I don't think it will be a problem because both PSG and Marseille will definitely meet and some other teams like Monaco, Lille, Lyon and other stubborn clubs will play PSG and don't expect the league leaders to win all the games they have. The 10 point is not a challenge because PSG are not as strong as they used to be when Neymar Jr, Messi and Mbappe was around, so I'm not sure they can win the league this season that's if Marseille and the other clubs in the top 4 can be more consistent. I don't see Le Havre as a big threat because the home team is seriously hungry to be at the top so this game is a done and dusted for Marseille.

You shouldn't assume that Marseille, Monaco, Lille and others will win all their games to catch up with PSG. Even if PSG lose three games they will still be on top of the league and these teams will also lose matches too. I thought the introduction of De Matteo to the French League would give PSG the needed competition but he has performed below expectations. There are still more games to play but I am beginning to admit the fact that PSG will still win the title.

To catch up with the points obtained by PSG, of course PSG must lose in some of their matches and Marseille and other clubs in the top ranks must perform optimally to win the match without losing, but somehow I doubt it because 10 points is not a small point to chase and PSG certainly will not allow defeat to occur continuously, maybe if they experience 1 defeat it is still acceptable, but if they lose 3, I think PSG is still very strong in the French League.

Paris Saint Germaine dominated the game not doubt but Monaco showed strong mentality like a team that came for nothing but the trophy. Once again, Paris Saint Germaine have won yet another domestic trophy but the big question is when will they be celebrating an European trophy?

Dembele gave PSG the victory with a last-minute goal. PSG won the match 1-0. However, I will say that through this match we saw the internal weaknesses of PSG's squad. In this match, PSG's players made 28 shots. Of these, 10 were on target. PSG's players were able to create many attacking opportunities. Because their match strategy was quite good. But there is no experienced finisher in PSG's squad. If PSG's squad had an experienced finisher, PSG could have scored at least 3 goals in this match.

Monaco played defensively in the first half. However, Monaco's players also tried to score goals in the second half. PSG's defenders also played well in this match. However, Luis Enrique should definitely look for an experienced striker in the winter transfer. Then maybe we will see a better performance than PSG in the Champions League matches.

How lucky PSG is. They showed a pathetic performance, but still able to lift the trophy.

Honestly, i don't consider it as a serious trophy, but good enough to win something now. They looked so damn poor in finishing. They dominated the ball possession and total shoots. They recorded 28 shoots, 10 goal attempts, but only one goal, and it came from a luck.

They're not good enough to fight in the Champion League consider how poor their performance. This trophy gives them a temporary bump before they will leave from UCL after City beats them soon.

That is true, because consecutive defeats for PSG are still quite difficult to happen if we look at the appearance and strength of PSG itself at this time, but for three non-consecutive defeats it seems possible for PSG when their players are tired or injured for the rest of the season. However, the problem is that other teams are sometimes also unable to be more consistent in continuing to win in every match so that the ten-point gap will still be difficult to surpass or equal by teams like Marseille and Monaco this season.

Lille hosted Nantes at home.After leading at half time, Lille conceded a goal from a penalty in the second half to draw the match.I expected the hosts to win this match as they dominated the game.Nantes didn't have much possession and didn't get into many positions throughout the match, which made me think they would lose, but that wasn't the case.
Lyon managed to win with a last minute goal against their out of form opponent.Montpellier are doing very badly this season, it looks like they won't even manage to stay in the league but we can't say they played badly.I think they played well in this away game but unfortunately they lost after an unfortunate own goal.

I would say I expected the PSG game to end in a draw or even lead to extra time because of how much pressure Monaco put on PSG. The last time these two met, Monaco has to lose in the penalty shootout and so for it to have extended to the 90+ before PSG could get a goal only shows how much Monaco worried them.

It was not an easy victory, PSG managed to score only in extra time, but it was deserved, PSG played better. However, what is surprising here, they have not had a worthy opponent in Ligue 1 for a long time, with varying success several teams are trying to compete with them, but it is obvious that it is very difficult for them to do so. Winning Ligue 1 and the French Cup is what PSG must do.

You know, for a player of Ousmane Dembele's standards I feel that clubs like Real Madrid or say Barcelona would suit him because he has what it takes to blend at those clubs. He was at Barca but I don't know why he had to come back to PSG. The reason I'm saying this ist that the French outfit are content with just winning domestic competitions but shy away or are booted out when it comes to European competition like the champions league. If anything, they should have carried the champions league a long time ago when they had tho others like Messi, Neymar and the rest but they couldn't so these ones that remain and are good should find good clubs that can carry bigger trophies since PSG don't seem interested.

 I'm happy also that Donnarumma was able to get back behind the sticks because it was against this same Monaco that he sustained the injury if I'm not mistaken and it's great that it didn't cause too much damage. Unlike some injuries that would see you out for a very long time, if not out of season.

Angers defeated Brest 2-0 at home and managed to get an important 3 points despite being in the relegation zone.Luck was on their side even though they had a bad game compared to their opponent.Brest's performance in the champions league is different from their performance in the league.They seem to be more focused on the champions league but they have tough matches ahead of them.
Strasbourg, on the other hand, won 3-1 at home and took the 3 points.We can say that both teams had plenty of positions in the match and the match was really competitive.It was clear that both teams were on the pitch to win, but Strasbourg won this match with the advantage of home advantage.Strasbourg, who increased their points to 20, have to show more than they can do to finish in the top 6.

Since Mbappe left PSG, Dembélé has been the man moving the club forward. His dying minute goal change the whole situation yesterday, and he was able to turn around the game to their favor. Monaco is a tough nut to crack and they almost got the cup in their hands, but Dembele goal stole it off their fingers.

IMO Paris Saint German dominated the game, according to the stats they had 28 shot attempts with 10 on targets against 12 shot attempts and 5 on target. Paris also dominated by possessing the ball more. I say they deserved the win even though the margin was tight that should be the most important thing in every game I guess, getting a win and they did that.

If Olympic Marseille actually had made a better effort to stay behind Paris Saint Germaine like you suggested, they wouldn't have been sitting in the second position of the league table and trailing league leaders with  7 points. Marseille actually started the season on a very good note and I remember telling us that they look like a team that's finally going to give reigning champions a good run for their money but few games into the season, they started dropping points in games they were supposed to win before they recently picked up good form again. You can't be inconsistent and expect to win the league which is why I expect PSG to still retain the French league title at the end of the season
