After the break we will have few top competitions which will surely bring changes in league table and things will be more challenging like Marseille is going to host PSG and then Lille going to host Lens both are trying their best for keeping Intouch for the top four and Monaco and Nice are lucky with these both are going to face relegation zone teams which will give them some boost, but they needed to be at the top for the having full three points from these matches.

Losing points in several matches before the season ends will make Monaco's position in qualifying for the Champions League even more difficult, even though they are currently in the top three of the standings. Monaco must play more consistently in the remaining matches because they must defend their top three position in the standings from challengers Lille and to qualify for the Champions League they must be able to finish in third place. Lille is chasing a three point gap from Monaco and if Monaco does not play consistently then their position is still quite threatened.

Monaco and Nice do have a much bigger chance because they will face much weaker opponents, but that doesn't mean it's easy because sometimes facing relegation zone teams also provides difficult resistance, because they are also struggling to get out of the relegation zone. Monaco must maintain their victory in the next few matches if they don't want their position to be taken over by challengers below them.

It's a shame that Monaco failed to secure a win at home after only drawing 2-2 against Lorient. Both teams played quite hard and the statistics also show that the two teams played quite evenly. But there was one unique thing in this match where both teams opened the scoring with an own goal from their players and a sight like this is very rare in a football match.

What amazed me even more about Lorient was that they scored their second goal after one of their players received a red card. There's no more competition and racing for the Ligue 1 title for AS Monaco, but they should be able to maximize their chances of second place.

Yeah, that's all Monaco can do in the remaining games this season and at least they should go to the Champions League next season. The competition will be fiercer because all the teams are aiming for a place in the competition and they also want to finish in the table as well as possible. Monaco must start to be wary of Lille or Nice, who are now only 3 points away, especially Nice, who have just started to find their game after beating Lens, should be wary.

Monaco is one of the big teams in Ligue 1 and they have to prove their quality and not lose concentration which shouldn't happen. After drawing against Lorient, in the next match they will still face a weak team at the bottom of the standings, namely Metz and they should not lose full points again in that match in the future. On the other hand, Metz also needs full points to escape the relegation zone and I think this time Metz will not just sit back and try to secure full points at home. This will be a fierce match because both teams want to win.

As I said before about Monaco, I think this team is a great team and they were usually in the top side of the French League in the previous seasons we saw from this team, but still I think Monaco is an unstable team and they sometimes lose points we expect them to win even against the weaker teams.
In the game against Metz they will have a good opportunity to win the three points from this match easily because based on the past results from both teams, I think Monaco can have a much higher chance to beat Metz in this match.
In the past five games for Monaco, they lost one game and had two wins while Metz had three losses and won two games which can show weaker performance from Metz compared to Monaco in the recent games they had.

PSG appears to be very much experienced in the champions league because they have all ways got to appear in the champions league almost every year but they have only gotten to the finals a few times and they aswell have not won it not even one despite the number of times they have appeared in the champions league, Barcelona Is aswell experienced too but they have not as many appearance as PSG but that wouldn't be enough reason for me to see them as not been experienced enough because I know they actually are as they have won a few champions league .

I may not be actually surprised to see PSG crash out of the champions league at this point because away from mbappe who's doing the strike for PSG they actually do find it difficult playing against elite teams as this butt hen if they get lucky enough, they could actually possibly get to win and knock Barcelona out to qualify for the next round of the champions league but it's definitely going to be really tough on them.

Coman and Christopher Nkunku are both promising players but they don't reach the targeted space in their teenage age, rather this is the season for their sparkling moment. These mentioned ex academy players doesn't seem to be promising, there's a whole lot to know about the system. Sometimes, if these players stayed, they will not find their purpose in football, rather they will not be giving chances, but moving to other clubs, these players ensured they're having their best performance and contributing to their perspective team's growth.

It seems like you forgot about 1 team which is also part of the team challenging for tickets to other competitions.
Lens is one of the teams that successfully won a UCL ticket last season and is currently starting to improve on its previous shortcomings and is slowly improving its performance by adding several points to continue to climb to the next ranking.

This is good news because Antoine Kombouaré is a coach who has managed Nantes before, although last season Nantes also experienced a bad season where they were almost relegated, but Antoine Kombouaré was able to secure Nantes' position with a difference of 2 points from the clubs below him who were in the relegation zone, but because of Nantes' poor performance he decided to leave and be replaced by a new coach but it turned out that the new coach did not provide good development for Nantes this season and Nantes' position was increasingly threatened in the relegation zone. He was ranked 16th with a difference of only 2 points from the club below him if Nantes If you don't fix it immediately then 1 match won by the club below it could shift its current position.

I don't know Coman. but I know Nkunku was from the academy of PSG and this player came from PSG when he was a very young player. But unfortunately, PSG doesn't pay attention to the younger talents they have, instead, they pay too much money for the players like Mbappe and other superstars, so they have to force them to stay in the team. I think the management system in PSG is wrong and they are the main problem because if they try to use the younger player they had before like Nkunku, they can have a much better performance than this.
That's what other teams do, they try to hire or raise the younger players instead of buying expensive players, which can be a much better and cheaper way for them to have players like Mbappe on the team.

If we only talk about team that also compete in other leagues, Marseille is also still part of the European League and Marseille will have quarter-final match, and this is difficult match because they will meet Benfica.
So it not just LOSC that has other matches for this season so there is no reason for anyone to try to maintain their position during this season even though LOSC is in the process of maintaining their ability to still have UCL ticket next season.
It just that LOSC must try to increase its points tally and minimize losses to be able to catch 3rd place or runner-up, Monaco and Brest can still be chased if LOSC really has stability and much more consistent performance.

I tried to find out last season's standings where Clermont finished in 8th place in the standings and what we see this season is far from what they did last season. Currently Clermont is slumping at the bottom of the standings and is at risk of being relegated. The reason is that from 26 matches they only collected 4 wins, 8 draws and 14 defeats. Obviously that's not a good result and is very chaotic for the season.

Now Clermont need at least 6 points to get away from the relegation zone and they have to get it before it's all over. But of course it's not easy because Metz and Nantes will always shadow them. In the next two matches, Clermont will face Toulouse and PSG, of course it won't be easy, especially against PSG, they will definitely lose.
