DeFi boom is helping ETH. Assuming the boom sustains till end of the year I am expecting ETH to be around 700-800. But if that bubble bursts it may even drop. Dont know if DeFi bubble can sustain that long.

Other aspect is if there is a broader drop in stock market happens before end of the year(possible if Biden wins or Corona resurges in the fall again), every crypto will fall like what we saw in Feb/mar timeframe. During that time ETH dropped almost 50%. So it could increase to 700-800 and drop to 350-400 as well. One can never predict for sure.

The altcoin market is much depending on the bitcoin. If there is good resistance above $12500 for a much longer time we can expect the price of ethereum to reach above $500.

I doubt the price will surpass the $400 soon. The support line is around $250 and I prefer to wait for this decline so I can invest more in ETH. The price is not going to climb the high points all the way up, there is a need for correction sooner or later. The current price levels are overrated and the decline is loading until the end of this year, IMHO.

Closing bar of chart will be around $300, in my humble estimation. The above numbers can trigger the bull market which is not going to happen unless BTC can repeat the same trade cycle like in 2017.

$500 for ethereum at the end of this year is already a very high peak as it may show signs of decline anytime. But if the market will continue to show signs of bull run, it won't be surprising that those who invested in ethereum at its low price will definitely make huge profits by that time. If there is a DeFi scandal or something else to end the insane FOMO, then this could have a big negative impact on ETH price. I'm really not expecting that much from ethereum anymore, right now is trading at 390 dollars and I see it remaining there for some weeks and then I expect to see a slight decrease in the price of ethereum, the reason for this is that the 400 dollars level is very strong and it has been historically very difficult for ethereum to surpass, we will need some massive FOMO in order to finally break away from that level and I think that if we are lucky we could see that in 2021 but not in 2020.
