Right now because of the pandemic outbreak some of the people who usually really wants to go outside and buy a lot of stuff and sometimes does not related or needed some of them to find another way which is the online selling and this is a good thing too to help the economy still the business is circulating even online so there is a chance we are helping the economy with the use of this.

Actually, my phone is now on its salvage value . It shut down yesterday and I'm in the verge of buying new one (besides, it's 5 yrs. old already so why not?). However, I still refuse to do so even I got money. Why? Simply because of the pandemic. I can't prioritize the wants over the needs, as long as my phone is working for another next 5 years then I'm fine with it. At my current status, I can't secure my future if I have the mindset of "live like a king now, live like a poor later).

The economy is based on shameless consumerism and something like saving for the future that once was considered a virtue now is seen as a sin, I applaud you for not falling for the fad of changing your smart phone every year because it is a waste of money, unless you have very a specific needs about what your smart phone needs to do most likely you do not need a new one until several years pass and the new version is many times better than the one you're holding.

People are suffering out of the debt that's been got over the past few months to meet their basic needs.

How sure are you with this? People in debt because of the government? lol as far as I know, if this is what you meant to say, the loans of the governments from the world bank and any other financial institution is outside the people's responsibility to pay as a whole, what they need to do is to pay for taxes which they naturally do. Only those poor to middle class are the one who needs it but most of the payment will come from wealthy people from their businesses and all. That's the inverted pyramid of paying of taxes. Just to correct your term, it is not people's debt when their government borrows money. Tax is not a debt.

Very few governments have provided the citizens with the life needs, while rest are into the policies of corruption even in the hard times of life. Losing the jobs is the major reason, if not everyone might have contributed buying something to boost the economy. Every country's economy can be uplifted if the entire sum of black money that's been with the politicians.

You can't be too sure with saying that the government is corrupt, I mean I know they are corrupt but these people are aware of the laws and they know how to hide it. We know how bastards works in the government, most of them are corrupt and pocketing money from the nation's fund yet proving is the difficult thing to do.

Even if not everyone here is buying things they want like luxurious things, we still all buy essential things. And I can say that is already contributing to the economy. It is quite ironic that you said "do not let anyone tell you what to do" yet persuading people to buy something. Buying something just like you want to will not make you a "man" but more likely compulsive especially if the thing that you bought is not an essential, or won't help you, considering the situation we are all having and experiencing.

There's this thing called "priority". People not only men, are having priorities in every moment. Every priority has a weigh. If someone will just choose to buy things he wanted, it might really help the economy is some ways but won't help himself for a long run, and that's the thing called "responsibility".

Why should be buy something from the services or good area when we do not need it ? Currently, there is nothing which i could buy and even if try to find any goods, there will be a shipping problem.
By the way, people are buying things and services offline and ordering them online too during the covid. The buying power of the consumer is always there although people buy only essential things during pandemic times.
