what happened to the popular btc conversion app?

I remember that site, where a lot of crypto users were previously using this for conversion purposes.
But I believe that problem has long been raised here in the forum.

But checking the site in whois, they still updated last year and the registration is up until 2022.
Seems that they still have plans to revive this site.

Yeah, I noticed that too.  I'm sure it was up earlier today, so maybe it's just a temporary outage and will come back later.

I think they already reach the traffic bandwidth for this month that's why preev is down.
According to heroku limits "Network bandwidth must not exceed 2TB per month." so the website already reaches the 2TB this month that cause this issue.

Similarweb showing that they have more than 1 million traffic monthly but since similarweb has 3 months delayed I'm sure that they got more than that today due to the price increase.
So this might be the reason why preev is down.

Anyway, I would like to share this site below as an alternative that looks similar to preev.

That could be an error on their end. It could be a contract on the webhost that's making their website empty/inaccessible. As of now, their website shows a "There's nothing here, yet" message which means that the website is active but the contents are missing. One of the probable reasons is they might be updating something in their website. They might also be working on something with the contract with their webhost.

It is still up and running, but I do agree that I've seen it went down in the last couple of days and I was thinking that it was probably due to the increase in price of bitcoin, resulting in huge traffic for preev.com.

And then it goes up again, so I do hope that they have upgraded or something to be able to handle such load. And as far as I remember, many users preev has been used often in Currency exchange trades as baseline price.
