But if people use gambling as their relaxing activity, that will not be good for them because sooner or later, they will use gambling as a new habit, and if they play for a long time, they will become addicted to gambling. That is the danger of gambling, which many people miss.

Its their fault. If they can not control themselves during gambling, they should not participate in these activities. Many people have lost their money, their homes, their family because of being addicted to gambling. On the other hand, the legalization of gambling can bring money to a country's economy, and for your information, the money comes from gambling can astonish you.

A coin always has 2 sides. That's why some countries allow gambling while others refuse to legalize gambling. And the internet gives us a chance to freely access gambling website for people who are not allowed to gamble in their territory

That is a full risk, betting all of your money including your clothes is bad if you don't win it because you will end up nothing, I wonder how he was able to decide to bet all his money, luckily he won the roulette, he has the good confident about the betting. I don't see myself doing that thing because I am afraid to risk all of my money. I don't want to invest it without any good assurance that I can bring back my money but unfortunately, we don't have that assurance for every investment and gambling we have, all came from taking a risk.

He probably didn't really needed to win but did it because of his addiction and a lack of being high. Because selling everything for a single bet is a proof that you don't want money rather you want to gamble just for the sake of it. If you get addicted to gambling for the sake of gambling then, you will never be able to be off the hook and gamble all the time no matter what!

I'm not sure about the number of "offline" casinos growing up

In these times of continual lockdowns and quarantines it is hard to expect the number of regular casinos to rise. Rather, we are going to see many of them shutting down. Online casinos, however, are certainly to see a boost, and this is kinda inevitable as the number of gamblers remains more or less the same, no matter the circumstances. Even in the case of an all-out war or some other global disaster, there would be enough gamblers sticking around and ready to roll. Let's call them career gamblers

Definitely, operating a regular casino in this midst of pandemic were doubtedly unbelievable. It is hard to push through to open a regular business, hoping for a regular customers where people were being afraid to go outside of their home because of the virus. Online casinos were available already, and if i were going to gamble or play casino i would rather played it through online than to risk my health and my family safety.

I would not surprised if it is a sports betting, but this is a roulette wheel which is pure luck, I cannot do that risking everything I have in a pure luck games, and this is a very dangerous character and habit, there will always a temptation to bet everything again because if he did it once he can always do that, this is a case where you need a psychologist because betting everything you've got is never a sound decision from a normal people.

I can't even believe some of them like the number 44 never it came to my mind of doing such a thing just for gambling so I searched him right away on the internet and found his photos with a breast implanted until today,  so I supposed that he enjoyed it because he didn't remove it anymore lol. But at the end of the day, it still proves to me that people differ in their perception when it comes to gambling. However, I am not against those people who are able to do such hilarious things for gambling probably they just love gambling so much.

Wow, didn't know poker have such interesting history and that it was played for a very long time. There are plenty of variants now of poker and some rules changes as time passes. Whomever discover the game is really fascinated in cards and maybe also in gambling. There are many names mentioned who really discovered it or many already do different variants or changes on it since its2bsen a game for a very long time.

I have played poker many times and never thought of searching the history of it. If it's only 20 cards for one deck before, that's only a small pool for the set of cards that you'll be competing with the other side of the table.

People who are addicted to gambling losses his common sense. Gambling still demands wise guess, if emotions over ride your critical mind sure you will fall in that kind of situation. Never ever be in a situation where you so into redeeming your lost. Yes, that is their fault. Many people who start playing gambling can't control themselves, making them lose more money. They realize that, but the tempt of gambling makes them spend more money and lose more money.

Perhaps, if the country allows gambling, the government needs to warn their citizen to be careful with the danger of gambling games because there are so many bad examples of people who lose everything through gambling games. Having control will be important in all matters because that can prevent us not to get something that we don't want.

These are mainly extreme gambling facts, with more than 1 in a million chance of happening. Most of us gamblers here, even if we are total gamblers, will never experience such extreme things. I think we as gambler can find such things entertaining, but should never use these as goals. It's only for a lucky few reserved. For me personally I am just aiming for a some average winnings in gambling, if I can get a vacation out of it one day would already be a start. It's most important to manage our expectations in gambling.

Same here as a Poker lover does not know about this origin and 20 cards?damn we only use this when we are playing Lucky 9 sometimes to keep away the cheaters so we need to lessen the cards.

Well, Thumbs up for these threads long but really informative and mind-blowing.
Some are unbelievable like the numbers 24 and 49 I can't believe that these happen in reality. I also found the thread that luck still remains unpredictable and sometimes can be unexpected it seems that those people who it shows that those who have tried gambling once or none at all and when they did, -- they became instant millionaire probably this is what they call ^{[beginners luck]} perhaps just for me. But after reading it from top to bottom it gives me one question in mind and that is ^{[does this thread inspires me or discourages me from gambling?]} well, to answer this question neither of the two because I still play gambling just for entertainment and if luck goes favorably in me like those people that were mentioned in the thread then that is a bonus.

Different people, different way of thinking, different in terms of financial capacity which means they would really be having different gambling decisions to be made.
Some are out of someone thoughts or way too overboard for someone to do so but people cant really just skip out on making those dumb decisions specially

There whole life depends on there beliefs in luck since most of them are businessman. I known many Chinese friends that stricter on following this ritual and they are dependent on it.

They are tough in regards to common religious beliefs. I'm no surprised by that kind of tradition but I'm not sure if their next generation will be committed to following then. That was pretty obvious that they are now adopting the new system and just like the other countries some old traditions and beliefs are also vanishing. As new technology arises, such kind of belief finds not helping at all and attracts luck(maybe I'm wrong), but I've also admired them how they respect those rituals

In case you didn't know, 8 is a lucky number in China. Once upon a time I was translating some contract stuff for them, and there were 8 clauses in one section of the contract numbered accordingly. Then one clause was demanded to be removed by their Russian counterparty on a totally legit ground (apart from 7 being a lucky number in Russia). And what do you think? They indeed removed that provision, but also divided another one into two so that there still were 8 clauses in that section

I do believe on this one specially with those Chinese people who do have lots of beliefs when it comes into luck matters.There are lots of em and you wouldnt know if its a little bit exaggerated
but hey if you do look those businessman most likely they are indeed a successful one, we dont know if it works or just their hard work really pays off and since they do might look its been working
then they are really indeed strict when it comes to following those beliefs even though other people do look at it for a bit too much or nonsense but its up their own choice.
