Merit for quality -newbies and junior member-

I have some smerit to give away to deserving -newbies- who are eligible to rank up,

      Criteria
+ Eligible to newbies and Jr member -can be increased later on-
+ Post link to quality post
+ One merit for one account -for now-
+ Can make reference for an account that deserves it

I will use this to urge or appeal to -newbies and low rankers- to curve the ideology of the forum not caring for them, and work more.

I appreciate your effort to support low-rank members in improving their accounts. Well, merit giveaways always attract many members, so they will come with their best posts to apply. However, if you don't really have many sMerit, I think you don't need to provide such merit giveaways. Why don't spend a little time looking for some posts from low-rank members on any sections? I think you won't be difficult to do that thing. However, it is a suggestion, you can do what you think is better. Good luck.

Guys, we are becoming lazy day by day. Just spend your merits to the quality posts. Doesn't necessary to create merit giveaway thread with a small number of smerits where you have enough time to spend it. Don't me get wrong but I strongly discourage opening merit giveaway thread anymore. Once a time lots of reputed users opened merit giveaway thread including me, but it was beginning to introduce merit system. But now, all users know about it, so it's quite unnecessary. When you will read other user's posts you will get the quality post for sure.

Low rank members always encourage to see merit giveaway and they inspire to create a good quality post. But i have a little suggestion for you..you can accept it or not, its upon you.
1. You can add "Member" in your giveaway.
2. You can add a rule about
"registration date" in this forum. Otherwise, one can open a new account after seeing the post and apply here.

I would like to commend you for presenting such a step and it's really a lot of shame because there are many newbie and jr members who are constantly posting quality but they are not getting any merit from higher rank members.
Many of us are lazy because we don't want to give merit even after watching quality post, If it is really a matter of shame because there is no benefit in retaining merit!

If you give merit to a newbie good quality post then they are encouraged to do more good quality post.

Maybe there are a lot of newbies who didn't get merit by posting well and eventually they drop out.

I'm beginning to get the hang of it. But there are really more to threads like this, it gives users of lower ranks a reason to want to create quality posts knowing that threads like this do come up and it's an opportunity.
The question is,
Should this be the case?

I guess not. You just pass an information that you think is worth it and helps to bring a light to users of the forum. Certainly it would get views, if it doesn't, then your topic is a problem and when it's not merited, it still okay so long as it helps. Let your ideas grow you!
