Should I invest in NEO now?

It's better you search for more about that coin, so you know if you need to invest on Neo or not. But maybe you can buy some amount first to see if that coin is good for you or not.
While the price is not too high, I think you can buy it right now, but that is only after you analyze the coin.
Without analyzing the coin, you will feel difficult to decide, and that can impact too with your profit from that coin.

I remember when NEO spiked to about 200$ due to China rumors of adopting the NEO blockchain, with drastic loss for those who FOMO in and bought the top. NEO is a good pick if you ask me, but they've not been the best lately looking at development. I'm not holding NEO presently since I have a limit for altcoins I hold at a time, but it's on my watchlist. NEO has been giving updates but compared to a few other top projects, they are lagging a bit. They earlier announced crosschain features together with Ontology, COSMOS and NEAR, still waiting to see what NEO3 release brings.

investing in a top and front runner coin won't go worthless ever. But, you should eye on the rate of return while you are investing in a particular asset. I suggest you invest in NEO is good but not the best as you know these coins are already gone many ways in terms of giving the return for the investors. So, invest in NEO half of your funds as it is a risk-free asset because of the wide demand of the coin. But, you should consider other new coins which are new in the market but must keep an eye in the volume of trading also.

I rather not invest into something when it is going high so much, just a month ago the price of neo was around 11.5 dollars, nowadays it is over 18 dollars, that is a huge increase, I rather not invest when it is at over 18 dollars, it would be smarter if you invested when it was under 12 dollars.

Now, I understand that many people could think that "how could we know when it was under 12 dollars it would have gone over 18 dollars" which is a solid question, however the answer is not "if you missed out under 12 dollars, invest over 18 dollars", that is not a solution neither. So, I would say the best case for you right now is to wait for it to drop in order to invest again. Now, you know what is low and what is high, if it goes down under 14 dollars again, you could check to see if you should get in.

ATH of NEO is 170$ and its current price is just 18$, so it's possible to buy and hold NEO long term. This altcoin is still in the top 20 altcoin in this market, and when the bull run comes, I believe its price will quickly go up like before. It is important to have enough patience

Why NEO?maybe you must answer this first before blindly investing in a currency that you don't even know.
NEO in Her prime has a great Value in 2017 but after that Bull it started to fall and now remaining in lower position,so why on all the currency here decided to invest in this currency?

NEO once named as Chinese Ethereum but seems it was not relatively to use now,ethereum stays number 2 and making Good pump together with Bitcoin.

To me i would say yes, neo is a good project for long term, yes we know the buzz for the coin is a bit down since last bull run but sometimes it is not just about the hype you should only invest but about the fundamentals of a project,  know what neo is capable of, see all the previous and present activities, achievements of the team and the ones yet to be achieved then decide.

I agree, when I saw this price at $10 I was seriously contemplating whether to buy or not at the end I gave up the idea but now I actually regret not buying because neo of back in 2017 was very hot and everyone wanted neo, I still believe the price can go alot higher,  am just hoping it will dump a bit so I can get in,  Neo can surprise many people in the next bull market.

I'd call NEO a dead coin. I've been following them from the start and was a long time holder since they were Antshares. I personally made some profit on selling NEO but I again bought them to stake. I staked them for a long time yielding nothing. The price of coin+GAS were much less than what I paid for and ever since I sold them for loss, they haven't had any significant increase. Though the team reaches every crypto related conference talking about NEO 2.0, they have zero strategy to increase the adoption of their blockchain.

The NEO CEO has sold out all of the NEO tokens and currently, the NEO development team is working slowly. They allegedly dictated the speed of the blockchain when sending money in real-time. I think the project is over and the development projects on the NEO blockchain have left after that, they moved to EOS, the Binance chain.

@ 18$ I feel it's not safe but if Bitcoin keeps remaining bullish NEO can move up to 20$ per coin or more so at this junction it's more risky than when it's was at 9$, you need to understand the risk first before making decisions here

From the last couple of months neo is performing well if bullish market keeps its current moment then your investment in neo may be beneficial personally I think it can be risky to invest in neo for long term but it may be profitable in day trading so if you're good enough in trading then you should consider on this point.

NEO has been largely forgotten in recent times and very few news has been mentioned about this coin in the past. However, I think this is still a very good investment option if you want to invest in the long term. One way or another, you need to have a sound investment strategy if you want to buy NEO because the coin is a Chinese coin and will usually only increase in price when there is good news.

If you ask someone for advice on investing, no one will be able to give you advice for sure. The main reason for this is that the cryptocurrency market is volatile. And because of this volatile nature, some people think many times before giving any kind of advice. NEO is a coin that was once talked about a lot and at that time a lot of people lost their funds by investing in these coins. I myself have lost a large amount by investing in these coins. I will not advise anyone to buy this coin in the near future.

NEO doesn't have too much investor interest. In 2020 I don't see any real outstanding news about this project, which is why the price of NEO has not gone up as drastically as other altcoins. The first question is, do you believe on NEO's potential? If your answer is yes then my advice is to invest in NEO.
You don't have to worry on the future as it has a great liquidity since it's traded in different exchanges with having almost $400 million daily trading volume.

As you can see in the price graph (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/neo/), its ATH was around $130 and it's current $18, you can see the opportunity, if this break it's ATH, you'll definitely make some good profit investing on it.
