I was expecting Arsenal to win but I thought it might be a different kind of match. The goal came early. Altay Bayındır made a huge mistake. Amorim said about Onana that he's not injured, he just wanted to give chances to those who prepared better in pre-season. In my opinion he can't continue the season with Altay. On Arsenal's side we saw the saves Raya made. Every good team needs a good goalkeeper. Arsenal started well, hopefully they continue the same way.

Altay Bayindr made a huge mistake? No he didn't, he was pushed and locked from moving to the ball by Saliba, a goal that shouldn't have been given but of course VAR are useless these days.

It is good to see the big boys win their first matches but I was only disappointed at Manchester United for losing their first match. It just shows that their trouble is far from being over. Ruben Amorim will not have any excuse this season because the added some good players that should mean them playing better. People have so much expectations from them this season.

Manchester United winning against Arsenal would have been the best result in the league this week but the team is still not ready to learn how to convert every opportunity they get to score against any team.  Arsenal win the game but a bit of the performance of United was better than Arsenal but United couldn't convert their chances. Ruben Amorim has nothing to explain this season if he can't get the team working again with the number of added players he should bring out the best in the players and stop looking for who to blame for the loss.

Even though Manchester United lost, I think they played well today. They dominated possession and created a lot of chances, they were just unlucky. I believe Manchester United will perform better in the upcoming matches. It's only the start of the season, and they still need time to adapt after the squad overhaul. Although expectations for Manchester United aren't too high this season, in may opinion they will perform better than last season.

Overall yes Manchester United game was not bad and when they lose it doesn't matter because their opponent is Arsenal, we know how Arsenal play with new players. As you said, I agree that Manchester United can still be relied upon in the next match I mean they have strong competitiveness, yeah maybe it just takes a little adaptation.

The first week of matches in the Premier League is over and we can see how the favorite team finishes it, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City secure 3 points while Chelsea did not, only drew. On the other hand Tottenham caught our attention with their good performance at the start of the season but we need to see the next few games.

By analysing the performance of both teams and thier goalkeepers was quite something to write home about Arsenal and Manchester United in the FA cup where Altay Bayindir had a standout performance saving two penalties, which include one from kai- Havertz in the shootouts, helping Manchester United win 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1draws, well it's really interesting to see how these matches unfold and the impact of individual performances on the outcome.

 I can't believe I sat down to watch Manchester United play for full 90mins and enjoyed every bit of their game, I think other coaches should be worried about Manchester United this season cause there's a big improvement, who else noticed the possession in the first half, I was very suprised to see that they played the possession game against Arsenal of all teams.

 Arsenal should count themselves lucky that they have a solid defense, and Riccardo Calafiori converted that set piece into a goal, if Manchester United had scored first I don't thnk they would've been able to equalize cause there would be much pressure on their player which would've lead to errors and more goals from Manchester United. Amorim just need one solid defensive midfielder and a good keeper for his team to be balanced.

Seriously, there's a serious improvement in the team from the nonsense who watched last season, the have a better playing pattern now and the team was enjoyable, the fact that Arsenal are playing nonsense was what surprised me the most, after that early goal from them, Manchester United would have even won the match from a comeback situation only if they were clinical enough in front of the goal.

The Manchester United vs Arsenal match was very exciting because both Manchester United and Arsenal tried hard to win and of course the match was very competitive because the two teams were equally strong. But honestly, in that match I bet on Manchester United to win, but unfortunately I lost the bet on that match. Did you also lose your bet on that match? But I'm sure many bet on Arsenal to win in that match and were successful in their bets.

Arsenal started this season well because of course in their first match they managed to beat Manchester United, which is certainly a team that is improving in performance because of course they have good new players. In this match, I think Manchester United played well even though they lost because of course Manchester United did not concede many goals, which is certainly very good considering Arsenal is a strong team and finished 2nd at the end of last season. Calafiori is certainly a hero for Arsenal because he is the only one who scored against Manchester United and certainly now many Arsenal fans are amazed by Calafiori. But I am sure that if Manchester United can take advantage of the opportunity, I am sure Manchester United will be able to score and the result could be a draw or Manchester United win. Of course, now I am curious about Manchester United's next match and Arsenal's next match against other EPL teams. Of course, Amorim's task now is only to improve Manchester United's players so they can take advantage of opportunities well.

Gabriel had an impressive three blocks while Williams was solid with seven clearances. It was a good start for Arsenal as they got three points from a strong team.

It should be Raya. he's blocked so many goal attempts by MU. They might concede at least three goals if Raya was not perform. His role is very important in that game.

Yes, you are right, both teams were under a lot of pressure in the last match. In terms of attack, neither team was inferior to the other.

Arsenal's defense was strong, but Raya was their best defense. MU was able to attack repeatedly through such a strong defense. But Raya did not let their attack succeed. Even such strong strikers could not do anything in front of his great play. If Raya was not there in the last match, the result of the game would have been very different. MU could have scored 4/5 goals against Arsenal. But we all know that the strong are against the strong. Raya needs to be as active as he is for the whole season. Only then will Arsenal become an undefeated team.

Yes, Manchester United did look more aggressive in attack in this match. If their opponent wasn't Arsenal, I'm sure they would have scored at least two goals. Unfortunately, Manchester United were unlucky in this match, conceding a goal to Arsenal and losing.
Manchester United's attack does look better, but they also need to improve their defense to prevent conceding easily. If they focus too much on attacking, their defense will become complacent, and the opposing team will take advantage.

Hard fought three Points for Arsenal today against Manchester United, they did not have much chances but they took the one that came and converted it into a goal. Manchester United fan should also be happy even though they did not win the team has improved significantly and I believe that the will bounce back in the next match.

My take on the new players is that Victor Gyökeres is physical and he will survive the English premier league, Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo had a good game too but Sesko did not do much when he came on.

This is little consolation for Manchester United fans, even though they did not deserve to lose today, but Arsenal get the three points. Sometimes it is not about how you play, but whether you are able to collect points. Even a draw would have been a good start for Manchester United against such a strong opponent. The next match will be away against Fulham, and this opponent also does not give away points easily at home.

These officials are incompetent this particular goal shouldn't have count. Then again,  that goalkeeper was too weak in air,  how can you go so soft on that ball?! Well, this game is enough for the management yo see that, we have to sign a midfielder and also a goalkeeper. I'm no more comfortable with Bayindir and Andre Onana in goal. Arsenal got the win they didn't deserve. United played better off course.

Funny how Manchester United show their aggressiveness in early minutes, but Arsenal is the one who score first.

It's very easy for someone to be Manchester United's striker, as long as they can score one goal in friendly match, that player will be the striker. I'm talking about Mason Mount, he only score against Everton and Amorim trust him.

The strategy aren't working, Amorim should let Sesko, Ugarte and Amad in.

It's really funny how manchester united is going down the drain and the manager still trusts some certain players that were not playing up to expectations to be in the squad still this very season. The coach doesn't want certain players like garnacho, rashford and hjoland (I might not spell that correctly) but still kept a certain player like mason mount. Initially during the transfer window I thought he was supposed to be one of the very players that would be shortlisted for transfer but I was surprised to still see him on the teams list for this season.

I do not  have high expectations from Gyokeres and Sesko. Both are very skilled , no doubt about that. Gyokeres  scored 39 goals and 7 assists last season. On the other hand , the young Sesko also performed quite well. However, both these players are new to the Premier League. And undoubtedly, the Premier League is very competitive compared to the Bundesliga and Liga Portugal. It takes a lot of time to adapt to the new environment. So it is unlikely that these two players will surprise everyone by performing well in the first match of the season.

What many persons are failing to understand is that gyokeres is new to the premier league and so he may not be able to meet up with all of the too many expectations, Premier League is far more different from where he was and so he will need some form of adaptation which will mean him playing some Premier league games to beat the odd before some excpetionaties, I know he has already gotten his first Arsenal goal but it still is not enough to keep expectations high around him.

Right mate. Liga Portugal was not a very competitive league. And Gyokeres was in the best team in Liga Portugal. So it was quite easy for Gyokeres to score. Gyokeres had the best season of his career with 39 goals and 7 assists. However, the Premier League scene is different. Most of the squads here are quite strong. At the same time, the Premier League style of play is also different from Liga Portugal. So it will take more time to adapt. But I have no doubt that Gyokeres is quite talented. Given enough time and enough opportunities from his teammates, he will be able to adapt to the Arsenal squad quite quickly.

This season league has just begun with an impressive display from Nottingham forest scoring three goals in the first half of the game; of course they have many potential players in the premier League tournament to have increased the goals if they wanted to, but it seems like Brentford had a wake up call after the first half, making them tighten up spaces in between, and also forcing an attack which earned them a penalty in the 70 - ish minute.

Nottingham forest in the transfer window have also signed some promising players who will definitely guarantee a huge success through the league.Chelsea on the other hand have failed to score on their opening game against the stubborn Crystal palace. This is about to get more interesting!

That's a proper cheating tactics and it's very early in the season for this to be happening already. Even with the var presence players are still allowed to go away with incidents like this, during the game yesterday, most people in the viewing centre where I was watching the game protested and of course few persons thought it was because they were manchester united fans that's why they are ranting but after several replays, we all got to see that it was a foul but the referee was still blind and went ahead to award the goal.

Not what i expected to see Chelsea gets draw against Crystal Palace, but a point from a team that beat City and Liverpool in the final is still considerably good. Especially, they come with some new players against Palace. They once again struggle against Palace's low block. I also rarely saw them made good build up from the back.

I think their mid performance in this game still tolerable consider they got back to the training session just a week ago. I'm not concerned yet about their performance. There still huge room to grow.

Chelsea performance against Crystal Palace shows that Chelsea still has a lot do to able to defeat strong opponents in Premier League, I was expecting a win from Chelsea after beating the best team in the world currently in the Club World Cup, Crystal Palace is not a small team but if Chelsea can’t defeat Crystal Palace in their home that means Chelsea can not defeat any big clubs in the league, Chelsea players are not turning up the way they did in the last final games against Real Betis and PSG or is it only final round that Chelsea players know how to play and win trophy?

We all saw crystal palace in the match against Liverpool, how they played and were willing to win, with a strong will power; well, Palace is a team that always want to win against a big team each time they meet.

 I knew it wouldn't be easy for Chelsea to hit the net with the current form palace is running on. Chelsea's draw to the start of the season is really not a good one for them having known that teams like Man City and Liverpool have won their game. The league is really going to be very competitive this season and chances like this should be avoided if they want to keep in position for long, but lets hope for the best for our major teams?

Arteta also seems to still need time for his team to get easy wins, and the arrival of Gyokeres should make their frontline sharper. Overall, I think Arsenal were quite lucky to secure the three points today, even though in reality they didn't play well.

Totally agree, arsenal didn't really play well as I was watching the game, over some years now while this two teams play, arsenal has been better but what happened yesterday was that manchester united ment business and dominated arsenal from when the game started till when it finished but they couldn't score any goal to back up their good performance. Just maybe this might be the starting point of manchester united to this new season.
