This problem with Manchester united has linger for quite a long time now, and it's very alarming, and the management is yet to find a solution to it, look at Michael Carrick that everyone thought was the Messiah, look at what he's doing now at the team, could this really be a course or what? Like the case is confusing, or could it be not giving coaches enough time to build like Arsenal did with Mikel Arteta? Like what exactly could be the solution to this their problem? Carrick alone is not the cause of Manchester United woes but the management should also be included because they never wanted Carrick to continue being the head coach after his performance last season because it was opinion of fans that made them to announce Carrick as their permanent head coach. In my opinion, I will say they should allow Carrick to continue because he has been around the team before he became coach so he can possibly look for a solution that will last long. One thing you have to understand about being a fan is that you don't just give up because your team is failing. Let's take Arsenal as a case study, their fans has been silent all these years but soon as they won the premier league title after many years, a lot of their fans became visible and celebrated both online and offline so I don't think that Manchester United will lose their fans due to their poor performance.

The thing that sets them apart and in my opinion makes them favourites to win the PL again is that they have the best defence by far. Raya is top class and they are very strong in midfield. They have a deep squad too.

Overall if you don’t concede many goals you will always have a chance of winning games. Arsenal don’t need to score 3 goals to win a game. They keep so many clean sheets.

Still yet to understand why the sporting director refused signing strikers to replace the players who left. Maybe it has to do with balancing transfer prices? If they can find ways to win games during this first half, one things is sure that they'll most definitely get a striker and a winger come thr January transfer window.

Funny how they have also been predicted to not concede anything more than eleven (11) goals in the Premier League Competition. I'd say it should surpass it, but is shouldn't be more than fifteen goals. If they can convince Julian Alvarez come January transfer window, they'll, comfortably win the Premier League.

What what do you have just said, are you saying that what is actually happening to Manchester United now is a plan work? If I may agree with what you have said I will say that Carrick is not the problem of Manchester United. What is really wrong with the Manchester United management does it mean that they don't want to improve at all, I don't really know what is wrong with them, why will they even want to stop Carrick from continue to be the head coach after all what he has done.

Man U was already a team that people were mocking under Amorin, but he came and changed the dynamic of the club, he changed everything about the team and made the players believed in themselves.  He also made sure Manchester United got the recognition they deserved, but uptill now, some myopic Man U fans are still saying rubbish about the coach whom have done absolutely well in my eyes.

What happened in the transfer window is among what is affecting the club at the moment because I can remember the manager saying to the board that he needed more signings, especially in the defensive midfield region, but Man U paid a deaf ear to what he was saying, now every thing is down on him, and he is the only one facing the pressure alone.

Tottenham have spent money in the transfer market but they have not been able to get out of last season's form. Their performance was just as bad last season. Fulham should have been in a better position. A very bad start for Arbeloa, he himself probably did not expect such a bad start.

I think Arsenal are the favorite because they are the only team that truly plays as a team. They all work together as a team and that's why they are very strong defensively and you can also see how they share the goal scoring burden. So like I mentioned Arsenal plays as a team an that's what makes it hard for other teams to defeat them.

I agree with you that Arsenal do not have attackers who can be seen as world class strikers just like Erling Haaland but since they still manage to win their matches with the quality of attackers in the team, it should be enough for them. How about those clubs that has World class attackers but their performance cannot be measured with Arsenal? Arsenal do not need a world class forward for them to score and win their matches. Arsenal are never a team that is known to produce world class strikers. They only manage to develop world class players few times after which they don't care about that anymore. At least the have a world class defender which is William Saliba. Especially considering their strong defense, as long as you don't concede, a single goal can secure you three points. Arsenal have been very successful at this in recent years. Management is the main problem if manchester united because with the way they are going I'm very sure they are going to find it difficult to get to the top 4 at the end, because they dont look like they are going to get that. Carrick ended the season in a very good form, and that is what surprised many that they start in a bad, did he change the strategy he used last season? Nobody knows. 

Carrick already show that he can transform Manchester united from last season, so the best thing is for management to not rush the process they should give Carrick enough time to change the club for a better season.

Manchester United under the current manager is much more than just the ability of the Manager to get things right with Manchester United, because Carrick really hard a godd run for his last season finishing and as tests of his current season players organization and substitutions that give team focus to succeed in match which in this season that have not been achieved yet and a pointer to how other factors like the management failure to get new players to fill in the front squad that can fill up Manchester United front and attacking to give the Club some goals.


Finishing in the top 4 in this season is a thing with alot of questions, but even at that we should not put all blame on the head coach alone but also on the Club management that have put alot of pressure on players and coaches without any formal plans for their new entering officials.

If i were him I'll single handedly resign before my management career gets ruined, he asked for more players but what did they do? They gave him just four signings plus a goalkeeper on free transfer and all signings asides the goalkeeper are midfielders, am not against making the midfield stronger but now they can see that they did a bullshit business in the summer window.

I was thinking the board would give him more defenders like they did with the midfielders then sign few wingers and an attacker or two but no. Im happy that Maresca managed to get a victory despite being one man less and against Carrick, who in the last three direct clashes lost two, while this time he managed to bring a decidedly important victory in an important derby. However, despite one man less, Manchester City held out until the end and even managed to come out on top.

The team has managed to pull through, and you have to give them credit for that. You're right; they secured a massive result against Carrick's side, who, from what I've seen in the Premier League, just seem to be lacking a bit of luck lately. Coming right after City, this was another setback, making it two consecutive defeats for them.

Haaland is obviously a massive advantage for City, and I also notice that Enzo has adapted well, even if there are still noticeable gaps with certain players. I'm honestly expecting a win for Manchester United against Fulham. Manchester United aren't playing badly; they just need a bit more cohesion among their players. As that improves, Manchester United will return to their good form from last year. They have a really good and high-quality squad, and they showed us what they're capable of last year. I still believe in Carrick, and I think Manchester United have just had a bad start to the season.
