I think you are wrong to call Chelsea's squad bad... They have good players in both defence and attack... The club's problems started not because of the players but because of the change in management and coaching staff... If the new coach turns out to be a good professional, he should have no problem getting Chelsea to play well again...

It's true, Chelsea has good players, and even the Blues have signed a lot of potential players this season and spent a lot of money, and the question is, why are they in this slump when on the other hand they have no shortage of good players? I have several assumptions about this, in my opinion, there are three problems that are the contributing factors to this happening. First, they can't be united, as many as 17 players have been brought in to Chelsea and unfortunately they haven't been able to unite because they still need time to adapt to the team so cohesiveness is difficult to achieve. Second, the front line looks dull, Potter is known as a coach who always relies on the 4-2-3-1 scheme, this scheme requires the line-up to have a sharp and qualified center forward. but so far Chelsea has not been reinforced by a striker who is really capable of carrying out this scenario.

Felix, David Fofana, and Pierra-Emerick cannot be relied on as goalscoring machines. And this situation made Potter entrust the front line to Havertz whose original position was an attacking midfielder, thus making the attack not optimal. Third, Potter is a coach who is not respected enough, Todd is too brave to entrust Potter with a club as big as Chelsea. I see that in the history of Chelsea, there are usually coaches with big names and brilliant achievements, but this time Chelsea was coached by a coach who had never won a championship, namely Potter. I hope Pochettino's arrival will improve Chelsea's situation in the future.

It is not as if arsenal lack experience that is why they were not able to win the Premier League. The number of standard players Manchester City bought is not as the same of what arsenal has. Arsenal has insufficient players at some point this players were all tired with injuries and the couldn't play well. With amount of players Manchester City has it is expected for them to win lots of trophies, Manchester City used money to signed many players to get the best performance for the season.  If arsenal can take the same footsteps I know they will do very well in their performance.

I think experience did play a role here. When was it the last time that Arsenal competed for anything important? Whereas Manchester City made a very solid impression in their games, you could see that Arsenal sometimes lacked confidence. It wasn't because the players were tired and if I am not wrong they also weren't fighting with lots of injuries. The pressure was very high and Manchester City is used to that due to the competition they had with Liverpool in some seasons. Manchester City had some brutal seasons with Liverpool. When they had far over 90 points and Liverpool still didn't win it, that does something to a team. Nobody is perfect and yet Arsenal knew they would have to play a perfect season or otherwise Manchester City will catch them. That is what happened and Guardiola already knows that his competitors get nervous towards the end of the season.

Arsenal have shown signs of improvement and this squad of players aren’t that experienced to start with. Although I share the same sentiments. Whatever Arsenal are going to be doing this summer, mentality must be at the centre of it. The kind of players we bring, even the kind of drills they do. They honestly need to design a structure that reinforces that winning mentality. Arteta and Edu have done a lot in that regard since they took over but they can’t relent now. They need to intensify efforts if they’re to fight next season for a major trophy.

Arsenal impressed us all this season by finishing at the 2nd position. They could have even been the winner of the league title if they didn't mess up things while we were nearing the end of the season. But I'm sure that the board and supporters both are happy with the general look and this result. Because it is the most successful season of them by far compared to the recent years.

Now there would be bigger expectations from them I assume. They would be expected to qualify for last 16 in the Champions League and fight for the Premier League title on one hand. To do all of these things I hope they are aware that they need to fortify the squad more.

Had they performed well in the last few matches, Manchester City would have had a tough fight for the title. This season's consistent performance and number two position in the points table will undoubtedly give them confidence in the coming seasons. Their full focus should be on the Premier League and Champions League next season. Currently Arsenal's team is a balanced team. Still, if the team needs to change a player, maybe Arsenal will make that change.

If.you have watched the match between Arsenal and Chelsea you will know why Asernal deserve to win this seaon more than anyother club who will posibly be the winner, because with their level of motivation even as their already lost tge first spot shows a team that is ece ready to win unlike Manchester city who is still playing raw or losing matches at this stage of the league.

Yes, I agree with you, overall this season has played well, but it seems that OP wants to say that when he sees one match, it can be concluded that Arsenal deserve to be champions more than other clubs.
However, we have to look at all aspects and all the matches that have happened this season, I don't deny that Arsenal played very well, but it wasn't enough to bring them to the title when they couldn't be consistent and had to slip several times when they needed points to win. . consistency and mentality are needed to overshadow the whole season in order to become champions, Manchester City have that while Arsenal do not therefore it is very appropriate for Manchester City to win the Premier League this season.
It's quite unfortunate indeed when Arsenal were able to top the standings for a very long time but they failed to become champions but they had to accept that because it was the team's own fault for not being able to be consistent at important times.

Maybe one of the reasons they lost their mentality is because Arsenal are home to a majority of young players, so they weren't ready to take enormous pressure when they were at the top of the standings. This is a valuable lesson for them, because from this experience Mikel Arteta can find out what makes them lose games towards the end of the season. Now the decision has been made and it is very unfortunate for Joao as several statements suggest that Poche will not involve Joao in his plans for next season for Chelsea. Actually Pochettino is being tested in a very tough job at Chelsea, he must be able to reunite the Chelsea squad which has been shattered this season. But I see that the former PSG coach will again be able to push The Blues into the ranks of the top ruling team, but with the record that Todd Boehly doesn't get too deeply involved in the players who will be his mainstay. If Pochettino is free in concocting his squad, it won't take long for him to lead the team from London with a fighter mentality. I think Pochettino is risking because of joining Chelsea in this situation, Pochettino is the coach who won the champions league when he was working at Tottenham in 2018-19 and he got some achievements when he was working on PSG which means Pochettino is a famous coach but Chelsea is not in a good situation and none knows if they get to have a better situation with Pochettino or not.
Pochettino usually prefers an attacking style and high pressing but he can maybe change this if he joins Chelsea.

Brighton have played very well this season. It is certainly commendable. Brighton is now sixth in the points table. Brighton's players have performed well this season. But I don't think Brighton will be strong enough to qualify for the Champions League next season. From Brighton, Newcastle, Manchester City, United, Liverpool and Chelsea teams are much stronger. And I think these teams will be at the top of the table next season. It is very unlikely to see Brighton in the top 5 of the points table.

Yes but this is a bit far-fetched when you take Leicester City as an example. There is a reason why Leicester City won't be forgotten for the next few hundred years. It is because what happened usually never happens. Nobody could ever say that Brighton can't win it. Every team can win the title in theory, but aren't we also here in the forum to discuss what we think is likely or makes sense? Is it realistic that Brighton outcompetes Manchester City next season? No, it is not, but could it be? Yes. But if we start discussing that way, we could come up with every single team now from the Premier League and make the case that in theory it would be possible for Brighton. Just as a note here, Brighton lost 12 games this season and if they wanted to have as many points as Manchester City, they would have to turn 9 out of 12 losses into wins.

He is already 30 and has one year left on his contract, so why not do another season and walk to any club of his choice next season, pocket the signing fees without having to deal with Daniel levvy, and since he has already expressed a desire to stay in London with his family, I doubt he'd move abroad or away from London, which offers Chelsea and Arsenal an advantage, but will Kane betray Spurs fans and join their London rivals?

Chelsea has lots of players that they have to sell so we shouldn't be surprised when we see players been listed to be sold. We still have the likes of Mason mount and Gallagher to be sold off.

Gallagher is likely to stay; I don't rate him, but he would be the only agreesive midfielder with high pressing left if the club let Mount go; Poch has expressed interest in keeping Mount, but his contract situation with the club is not good at the moment, and the club may be forced to sell to our local rivals; not a good decision, but there are no other options at the moment.

Brighton ended the season in a good way, they managed to finish in 6th place which led them to the Europa League next season. Brighton appearance this season was truly unexpected, at the start of the season they managed to provide competition in the top four even though in the end they finished in 6th position. Brighton's success this season cannot be separated from Potter contribution in instilling a philosophy of playing well in attack and defense.

Next season is very difficult for Brighton to be able to provide competition in the top six positions. Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham will make changes to their team so they can return to the European zone. Chelsea which has appointed Mauricio Pochettino as head coach, will have big targets next season. Chelsea will soon end their slump in order to return to the top four. Meanwhile, Tottenham and West Ham will make the competition even more competitive with a surprise next season.

The fact that he is a new coach will undoubtedly increase his desire to succeed, so I still have high hopes for him despite the fact that I don't actually have a good track record regarding him. However, seriously, Chelsea deserves the best and needs to recapture their former glory, so I believe the first thing a new coach should do is separate the players who will stay from those who will be sold off. From there, he can begin reorganizing the team, which will change things slightly against the competition. once more, congrats to Chelsea supporters on their new Chelsea.

Chelsea will start next season with a new spirit, they have to fight from the start of the season to increase the confidence of the players because this season they have lost the enthusiasm to play after the bad results that befell them. I believe Todd Boehly has big hopes for Chelsea next season because he has spent a lot of money to recruit star players but this season they failed miserably. It is hoped that Pochettino arrival will revive the players' confidence on the field, they must unite in achieving success next season.
