The problem was not in its tech but it was on its operator. If operator was wrongly taking the wrong decision and that's clear if it will not be changed.

The main problem if any parties have its own agenda. People were starting to take a look at var caused by it was a goal but the different reaction when it was not a goal. People will not care so much with it.
This kind of situation is something common in the football. The dilemma regarding VAR system will still continue.

EPL needs this tech but at the same time this is also a boomeraing for the fairplay of this league.

The image shows it was out of play but we're only looking at it from the angle where the part of the ball touching the ground. I haven't seen a clear image that shows if the other side was completely over the line. I don't think the PL has that level of tech yet to prove without a shadow of a doubt if the ball is in or out. If it's inconclusive then the original call or non-call stands.

There in addition to the possible ball going out of bounds, there were 2 other controversial moments that were watched with VAR. They were a possible foul by Joelinton against Gabriel and a possible offside by Gorodon. In general it was a difficult episode consisting of 3 moments, which decided a lot, and these three points that Newcastle earned they are still in favor of Manchester City, because Arsenal is still the only club that can fight with City for first place.
The referee is certainly not enviable in such a case. we will wait for more decisions on refereeing in this match and see whether the counted goal will be considered a mistake of the judges or not.

But Newcastle gave Arsenal a surprise in the second half where Gordon managed to score a goal without tight marking and that really made Arsenal lose confidence until the end of the match, they had to be satisfied with the result of this defeat and dropped to third place in the EPL standings at this time. Arteta of course has to accept the fact that Newcastle played better than Arsenal and from their defeat yesterday Arteta will of course study and overhaul the strategy he used in yesterday's match to be better in the next match.

This match should belong to Tottenham because they are in their best performance and they will play at home. It's just that Tottenham must not be careless because even though Chelsea has less consistent performance, but Chelsea can still be a stumbling block for them. This is a tough season for Chelsea, their performance is not good and they often drop points when playing against opponents they should be able to beat but Chelsea can sometimes play well against big teams (they managed to hold Arsenal and Liverpool to a draw).

Mauricio Pochettino have another test this season, one thing I'm proud of Chelsea is their formidable shape against elite teams. They stand strong and haven't lost any tough game, perhapes they have record few defeats against mediocre teams. Another test for the Blues on monday, they are facing Tottenham, we all know that they're on streak winnings and Angelos Postecoglou doesn't stood this far to compromise his chances, possibly not now they're among the serious contenders for EPL title. I'm looking forward to see the Blues to be responsible for Tottenham Hotspur first defeats of the season.

He wrote "this season" so there's no point in guessing what he meant. Newcastle is really strong, as are Arsenal, and also Liverpool + Tottenham. The problem is that they take points from each other, which works in City's favor.
As for titles, maybe Arsenal will win the Champions League this year, that possibility exists, plus it would be a really “fresh” event. After all, even City, which won the Champions League for the first time last year, is already completely boring to everyone.

That would be refreshing if Arsenal does at least reach the final. Whether they win it, that remains to be seen but having them in the final would be nice. I still think that having Manchester City in the final would be also nice because they would still have to prove they can defend it. I usually prefer final participants to be from different countries, but if it was Arsenal vs Manchester City, that would definitely be worth watching for many reasons.

Nope  I won't even watch this final because Arsenal's winning percentage against City is too low for me to hope to not be disappointed with the result. In general, it will be good if all the major clubs meet again before the final so that we can see two-legged confrontations, and as for the final, I would be glad to see two underdogs there. But as always, there is a possibility that instead of an interesting finale we will see a fight between the favorite and the underdog.

There was a foul in attack, committed by the Newcastle player against the Arsenal player, which was close to the Arsenal goalkeeper.
This goal is a joke. This is the second time VAR is failing, after the Liverpool goal against Tottenham, which was unfairly denied.
Maybe VAR should be cancelled. VAR is doing more harm to the football than it goes any good.
Newcastle became a really strong team and they will have big influence in the Premier league, but the fair result of this game was 0-0.

It is not the VAR fault,no not at all,it is the referees fault still that apparently no one at UEFA/FIFA take any measure against them even though they have enough evidence in front of them to judge fairly yet they seem to do what they want and not caring at all for such clear evidences.

VAR is a wonderful technology but are the referees as always the faulty people who impact the games,I know referees are human and prone to human error yet it cannot be forgiven when they clearly make a mistake with all such evidence in front of them.

Yes, the team like Man United was expected to win the match by at least 2-0 goals, so even though Man United won the match, winning the match with Fulham by 1-0 goals cannot be considered as a good game.Man United were able to maintain their winning streak with a goal in 90+1 minutes or the last minute of the game, otherwise the match would have been a 0-0 draw. Even if Manchester United lose a match, I have no regrets if they can show their best performance in that match. Manchester United won against Fulham but Manchester United's performance was not good at all in this match. If Manchester United is compared with Fulham, then I think Manchester United will be much ahead of Fulham. I don't understand why Manchester United performed like this despite being ahead in every way against Fulham. Manchester United certainly have a problem in one area that they have yet to figure out. If they didn't have the problem, they wouldn't have performed so consistently poorly. This season they are performing several times worse than the performance of Manchester United last season. If they continue to perform like this, there will be doubts about their qualification for the European League, let alone the Champions League.

On that list he is with other great players and this is a fantastic record for a young player who is shining and I think Manchester City was right to sign him last summer.

However, not only did he contribute with 4 assists in the match, but Jeremy Doku also scored a brace in this match. He is Manchester City's future player and it looks like Manchester City will continue to keep him.

They are incompetent and cannot provide a fair support when serious games are on going. VAR was Arsenals last hope of getting a tie in that game but they couldn't turn up.
That foul was caused by Joelinton, the impact placed on Arsenals defender was simply too much and too obvious to be seen.
And then the yellow card of Kai Havertz also shouldn't have been a yellow but a straight red that was indeed reckless tackle. You know they have been the best defending side from last season and has been doing well also.
Mikel Arteta was seen lamenting immediately after the game to the press about the issues. Good to see him speaking up just like Jose Mourinho.

That goal was a clear foul, it shouldn't have been awarded It makes me feel like VAR are working on some games with the organizers of the Premier League.

There are several Premier League matches this season that are similar to the Newcastle vs Arsena match.
I remember a few weeks ago when Liverpool were injured by the referee's decision when facing Tottenham, no one could do anything, that's how football is, referees and other match officials are also human beings who don't make mistakes.

Of course, the Arsenal players were very disappointed because they were the ones who suffered losses, but apart from that, they also couldn't afford to dwell on their first defeat.

I don't know how long the referee will try to repeat the same mistake over and over. Arsenal has become a club that is getting disadvantage at this moment.

Look at so many complaints towards the referee in the previous case but nothing happen. We are only wasting our energy to complaint about that.  Let those fucking referee was continuing to do their jobs.

It is truly okay to ask FIFA to go ahead in questioning the referee on his decisions yesterday. I wonder why or what is the essence of bringing the VAR referee into the game when after 4 solid minutes spent, the VAR decision was not yet final.

This is not the first time we are encountering cases like this where the VAR corruption is addressed standard and despite that the VAR referee was employed to further right the wrongs in the making and losing of goals, it's decision are not regarded final.

It was further speculated that the goal awarded by the referee yesterday was as a result of home advantage since Arsenal was playing the game as away. Regardless of what it is, you do not use a home advantage to validate a goal that was utterly criticized.

I am pretty much ashamed of Arsenal over their performance yesterday, first half was fine and averagely okay but during their second half, the likes of Harvertz were meant to br immediately substituted while Arsenal continues to hunt for goals but they slacked all through to the lost that caused them the 3 points.

One thing I like about Pep Guardiola is that he always select the best and go for them,and even help them to improve more,this young lad is the future of Manchester City and he's going to help them achieve alot, I think he's a very good replacement for Mahrez cause he's young, skilled got speed and could play both flank,if only their neighbours Manchester United could imitate them and go for players that would suit their clubs standard them I think they'll go back to their glory days.

 With the way Doku is improving in every match he plays I think Pep Guardiola would consider giving him more chance than Grealish and instead of being a 2nd option they could be using him as a starter, because he's very impressive on the ball and got better skills and is faster than Grealish and the fact that he plays both flanks could also be threatening to Grealish starting.

To be honest didn't know him before this match either. Turns out he was bought from Rennes and as usual Manchester City's scouting department is doing a great job.
It is interesting that before that 4 assists per match were made mainly by Arsenal players, and in the season 21/22 Pogba and apparently this is the end of his playing career, and the main thing is that Doc did not happen to Pogba.
From the first games it seemed that the player is still young and not very experienced, but now after this match I think that his adaptation is practical.

Jérémy Doku is young talented for Pep Guardiola and I don't know him before joining with Manchester City in this season, still 21 years old but he was success take one regular position place under Pep Guardiola scheme. Last season, he played for Rennes as Ligue 1 team and smart scout talent make Jérémy Doku become special transfer for Manchester City. I doubt with Pep Guardiola signed players without popular name and play in Ligue 1 can't guarantee will get first or main position.
Actually Jérémy Doku have played 12 matches all competition for Manchester City, he has 8 cap in Premier League with 2 goals and 5 assists, in Champion League he played three matches with one goal and assists then he has performed in EFL Cup.

Nottingham Forest decided not to wait long with a goal and scored to Aston Villa already in the 5th minute.
Despite the goal Aston Villa after its impressive series remains the favorite in this match, and such a quick goal will help teams to loosen up and usually in games with Aston Villa get a lot of goals, so I believe it is clearly not the last goal in the match.

The technology has made decision making in football very inconsistent. The same decision that has been taken in favor of one team will not be the same in another game involving another team. The officials behind the technology should by now have recorded these cases and the judgements that ruled so that they will be able to have a reference the next time similar situations happen. Arsenal's record of not loosing any game has been spoilt because of bad decision from the referee.
