I believe It's better Liverpool focus and chanel their efforts on winning FA cup and UCL trophies respectively because with the look of things EPL trophy is getting out of reach, it's obvious that Man City would win the trophy and Liverpool wouldn't risk their key players for the league with two important finals ahead, beside only Thiago Alcántara and Salah are on the bench, Liverpool played 90% of their full squad,  the is an exciting match with two goals within 6 minutes in the beginning of the match and it is a must win match for Liverpool.

After previously Liverpool drew against Tottenham, now against Aston Villa Liverpool should have won the game. But the first half of
the Aston Villa vs Liverpool match ended in a draw, and if this score did not change until the end of the match, Liverpool will most likely miss
the chance to win the Premier League trophy. I'm sure Liverpool in the second half will play more aggressively and it is possible that in
the second half Mohamed Salah will be played if Liverpool cannot score a second goal. Because after all, Liverpool must win if they want

Liverpool are still leading at this time with a 2-1 advantage . This match was quite interesting this time because Aston Villa were able to score in the early minutes but only 3 minutes later Matip equalized immediately, And in the 65th minute, Mane was able to reverse the situation 2-1 for Liverpool advantage. Gotta hope that City lose their next game but thats definitely not happening and even with the same point, City is currently still taking the top spot

Oh well, I got a bet on Liverpool -1 because I thought they would have dominated Aston Villa but I guess I took the bad timing to bet on handicap

I still can't believe that mane earns just 100k pounds all these years for all he has done for them. He should leave to a bigger team that will pay him. You see why some of us say that mane actually important than salah in this team. In difficult moment like this he turns up but Salah is a streak scorer. Liverpool need to play better in order to beat Chelsea in the FA cup final. Aston Villa was not as strong as Spurs in defense but Liverpool has not able to take full advantage of the weaknesses. In fact, the slim lead 2-1 caused a nervy ending. Diaz and Tsimikas had done well for another game to keep Liverpool hope.

Manchester City is arguably quite advantaged in terms of the match schedule. Because they are now only focused on three matches in the Premier League after losing to the Champions League. while Liverpool are still divided concentration with the Champions League Final and the FA Final.
However, Man City should not take it easy because the competition for the Premier League title is not over. Man City must Reflect on the match against Real Madrid in the Champions League semifinals, the situation can change in just minutes, even seconds.

They were pretty close, the difference was just one points, and they ended up with a draw against Spurs on a game they shouldn't have, I mean if it was early on the season that's fine, but when you are this close to winning the championship and you throw it away against a team like Spurs, then you kind of deserve to lose the championship. Not that spurs is a bad team, but we are talking about one of the two teams that dominated the league for a long time now, it would be weird if we said they are equals to spurs.

City will win the premier league, and Liverpool will hope to get UCL and FA and call it a season, and not a bad one at that.

I would not say under performed. The team is literally exhausted and still they are able to grind out results. That is an hallmark of a great team. After the 2-1 victory, Liverpool are now leveled on points with Manchester City who have a game in hand against Wolves. The premier league title looks likely to go down to game week 38.
