Manchester city and Arsenal have created quite a gap between them and other teams like Chelsea, Manchester united and Liverpool which at this point will be difficult to recover and it is unlikely that any of this teams will stop winning even after the world cup so in my opinion I think Liverpool are out of the title race already and should be focused on finishing at the top four spot at the end of the season to retain their Champions league spot.

The five-point gap between Arsenal and Manchester City is not a big gap, because once Arsenal loses and Manchester wins, the gap will close again. So, for me personally a five point gap is not a hard gap to chase, even if for example they have a 10 point gap to me they are still not completely safe.
Because after all, the English Premier League is a difficult league and that way, all the teams in the Premier League find it difficult to maintain their good performance for the whole season.

This competition will still be interesting and even though teams like Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are outside the top four but at this moment there are other big teams who are starting to threaten the top position.
With Newcastle in the top four, the competition for the title and of course for the top four positions will be very interesting because of course there will be other big teams who will not get a European zone ticket next season.

Liverpool does not need any improvement in the front line. The front line is good, what they need is for Diaz to return from injury by January and the squad is fine.
If they need adjustments they need a midfielder to help Alcantra in the middle. I have heard that Liverpool is going for Jude Billingham, that will be a great move that will further strengthen the club.

In terms of strength and individual skills, they are still good enough for their front line, it's just that at the moment Salah and Nunez are still not showing good performance and only Firmino is the backbone now that Diaz and Jota are gone.

You are right, on the other hand Haaland, who did not take part in the world cup, will maximize his performance well to continue training. Arsenal will certainly have a bit of a problem if their core players are injured after the world cup. For that, another opportunity comes from Manchester City, which has the opportunity to return. In the end they ended up outside the top of the standings after half a season in the EPL, 7 points adrift of 4th placed Tottenham which they recently managed to beat.

United, Liverpool, Chelsea, will continue to fight to finish in the top four of the premier league after the league is rolled back. they still have a high chance of remaining competitive and finishing where they should, considering that the premier league schedule is still long and there are still 24 matches left until the end of the season.

Even Newcastle, which was not the favorite team from the start, was able to rank 3rd on the main league standings board. difference in points they have, with second place only 2 points apart. if Manchester City slips up again, Newcastle could snatch the rating that City sits on. I think the toughest challenge is not only for Arsenal, Man City must also remain consistent to even have to perform even better in order to win the top of the standings.

On the other hand, Arteta's army is currently in its best phase. Arsenal are one step ahead in terms of mentality, quality and focus.  some rumors say, Arteta doesn't want to lose his ammunition in the middle of the road. Reportedly, Asenal has targeted several names to bring in in the January 2023 transfer market. I'm optimistic, The Gunners will remain consistent and win trophies this season.

I hope arsenal can maintain its current positive trend and like you, I also hope arsenal can repeat its heyday when we were able to win the EPL with Invincibles, it feels like it's been a long time for us not to be able to get  trophy which is truly prestigious and breaks the fast a title that has been hitting for a long time, Arsenal performance under Arteta coaching is on the right track but still we still need to improve quality and also maintain game consistency until the end of the season for  championship.

City are one of the best team in UEFEA which are very good with dominating game but so unlucky in the race to lift the UEFEA title.

With the condition that the match is still quite long, I think everything is still likely to happen, but seeing that the two clubs are still very strong at the moment and they have never even met even this season, of course their matches for this season will be highly anticipated because for some time ago the match they were the first to be postponed so it is possible that when this game comes around it could draw some real comparisons for the two clubs.

Arsenal is not far behind Manchester City in terms of points. However, if Arsenal wins their next few matches, they will go level with Manchester City. But I still believe that Manchester City is the best team.

Their good result in this season actually started in the past season when they have changes in ownerwhip and bought some star players. However, it happened in middle of past season and they did not have enough time to connect new and old players to achieve good result.

In this season, they have it all and even have some new players too. With a full pre-season training, they actually play better but a third position is very surprising. I just thought they can create some challenge for top four but did not think they can stand at the third position like this
